Dear vegans

A thread.

Every day we fight to end animal suffering.

Meat eaters say ‘but if we did not eat animals we would either be overrun or they would go extinct. We know this story.

So what is the reality?

We know they would no longer be bred and supply would go down.

But what of those who are left and those who are rescued and taken to safety?

Here we have a story of 91 pigs who were saved. We all mostly know this story by now. #53Pigs & their #53piglets

How many of us think about how to feed all these beautiful creatures?

These are the lucky ones.

We have hatched a plan.

In many ways this plan is a prototype for many others that will hopefully follow if we can manage to save & give freedom to more incarcerated animals.

Nobody loses their shirt with this plan because it is about the many giving a tiny amount. An amount that we would spend on a bar of chocolate or some other quickly consumed item, without a single thought.

In this case we have called the plan The Pigoneer 2000 club. 1 because it is about rescued pigs and 2 because it is pioneering.

We need 2000 of us just donating £2.50 a month to ensure these previously terrified pigs have the food they need every month. Nobody is making any money here as this is all about Altruism, compassion and about all of these pigs.

And finally. I would like to say here that what Sasha has done at BTW is HUGE.

Imagine for just a minute what feeding 91 pigs looks like every single day.

I don't think I could do what she has done. My hat is off to Sasha & her courage because it is rare.
