This is not even a contestable fact. It’s demonstrably true. Human classification sits at the roots of the emergence of science in the 18th C, and in all cases it was both hierarchical and in service of the political ideology of European expansion, colonialism and subjugation.
He’s a historian of science btw. Kant, Voltaire, Linnaeus, Blumenbach, Hume, and other giants voices on the Enlightenment were heavily invested in classification schemes that directly enabled and nurtured the subjugation of nations.

You can (erroneously) call it Critical Race Theory if it makes you feel better, but actually it is history, which has no duty to make you feel warm and fuzzy.
That Jordan Peterson rejects these facts is unsurprising. It is his modus operandi to assert the importance of something without under it. Qv: evolutionary theory.

And yes I know being wrong in the internet is some kind of divine right, but these are people with millions of followers and minions, who believe every word of Peterson’s effluence, when he hasn’t even done the most desultory research to understand the thing on which he opines.
He is literally making people stupider.
