Taehyung and Jungkook loved passionately. They were a package. Neither being able to keep away from the sweet temptation. They helped each other find happiness. Learned what life was really all about.
They were past, present and it should’ve been the future too...

The couple was on their way home, after a beautiful beach date, as usual riding Jungkook’s beloved motorbike—
A Triumph Rocket 3 R, hitting the 100 mph mark with a 4K view right besides them, as the sun started slowly setting beneath the deep blue ocean.
2
“I love you.”, Taehyung whispered next to his boyfriends helmet, the wind carrying the words towards nirvana.
He clasped his arms around Jungkook’s waist with a wistful greed, not being able to get enough of his lover.
3
A quick look over his shoulder symbolized Tae that the other felt quite the same.
A content smile grazing Taehyungs lips as he snuggled his head further into the familiar widths of his boyfriends back muscles— Eyes focused on the Tequilla sunrise that was painting the sky.
4
They had a connection they couldn’t, neither wanted, to explain, but simply indulged in the feeling it gave them.
They never planned to fall for each other, but when they did it was deep and fatal, intense and hot.
5
The summer was almost over, with the couple having spent nearly every minute by each other’s side.
One could’ve said that they were being clingy, but for Taehyung and Jungkook it was simply a given. Loving the comfort the other provided- In any sense.
6
Before they met, both were pretty much lost souls, wondering around aimlessly not knowing what the future might hold for them.
Jungkook, a bartender and motorbiker and Taehyung, a model student, couldn’t be more different, yet they had one major thing in common— Loneliness.
7
It all changed after that one particular night though— drinks, music, people, lights, bedsheets, sweat and comfort, all merging together— it was as if a missing puzzle piece was suddenly put in its rightful place.
Ever since, they were inseparable.
8
After riding on his boyfriends motorbike for over a year now, Taehyung had kinda gotten the hang of it, which is why a sudden rush of uneasiness coursed through his body when he felt that something wasn’t quite right.
Suddenly everything around them seeming too peaceful.
9
However pretty the landscape might’ve been that day, the advancing speed of the bike overshadowed everything.
For his boyfriend usually respecting Taehyungs cautious nature, the alarming pace, they were currently chasing down the road with, felt positively out of place.
10
“Kook, please slow down! This is kinda scaring me!”, Taehyung clinched onto his boyfriend even tighter.
A gulp.
“Babe. It’s fun.”, Jungkook played it down.
“No, it’s not! It’s scaring me! Please, just slow down, Jungkook! You know I don’t like this!”, Taehyung whimpered.
11
“Then tell me you love me?”, Jungkook demands, gaze focused on the road ahead.
Taehyung contemplated for a second, before giving in— He trusted his boyfriend, with his life.
“Fine, you stubborn idiot! I love you. Happy? Now, would you please slow down, babe?”, he pleads.
12
It was silent for moment, except for the airflow rushing past their heads.
“Give me a hug first, will ya? One of your nice big hugs, okey? Please?”, now the younger’s voice had a pleading undertone with it. Something that caused a shiver to run down Taehyung’s spine.
13
Yet he went with it. Hugged the boy riding the motorbike so tightly, he feared he’d strangle him to death— What irony.
“Now-“, Jungkook began, voice breaking.
“Please take my helmet of and put it on? It’s kinda bugging me!”, he tried to play it cool, even giving a chuckle.
14
“What’s gotten into you, Kook?”, Taehyung wonders as he goes to take off the helmet from Jungkook’s head.
The truth was that halfway down the road Jungkook had realized that his brakes were broke, but he didn’t want Tae to know.
Instead he had him say that he loved him, felt his hug— One last time. Then had him wear his helmet so he would live, even though it meant he’d die.
17
Sacrificing himself for his one true love made the rash decision a lot less scary. Having his loved one comfort him, one last time, with the words that felt like music to his ears and the warm hug only he could provide, made it even less scary.
18
So when the inevitable came Jungkook simply closed his eyes, melted into the touch of his lover and embraced the final memories, conjuring a smile on his lips.
That’s love though, right?
Giving everything, sacrificing all without hope of return. And Jungkook loved. Greatly!
