You incited targeted harassment against multiple people on both discord and twitter for criticizing your aggressive self-promotion and then re-framed it as you yourself beinf harassed.
I wasn't going to directly name-drop this particular person because of the disparity in following size but they continue to be an actively harmful individual, focused entirely on building as large a platform as possible with which to silence & harass people they don't like.
Taylor is gaslighting, manipulative, weaponizes their identity against criticism, and incites harassment against people critical of their sales tactics. They're a harmful person that I wouldn't trust with the limited following they have, let alone the larger one they want.
They almost exclusively target smaller followings for harassment. This is exactly the sort of person I am speaking about when I say we should critically examine the sort of people we're supporting in this space - who is here to build community and who's here for clout.
I don't trust people who are already comfortable inciting a brigade with a limited following, I don't trust people who don't curate their followings & cozy up to venger & etc, and I definitely don't trust people who reframe any criticism as a personal attack.
And I don't think people like that deserve to profit off a community they pollute.
I don't care WHAT Taylor makes; what I care about is that they repeatedly have posted unredacted lists of names of people that have criticized them in public forums for the express purpose of harassment.
I'll shut up forever about Taylor if they apologize and acknowledge the harm they've done and are doing, and display clear and tangible steps showing they've learned from this.
But they haven't. So here we are.
On a much pettier aside, because I wake up every morning and choose violence:
I don't know what successes Taylor has that I would be jealous of, or what clout I stand to gain from telling them off, but I suppose we all have our delusions.

I've been cooking all my life, and professionally so about two decades. One of the things you'll see inexperienced cooks do when they're working on a dish is add as many high-end ingredients as possible to the dish. Surely that makes it good, right?
But when you throw lobster, truffles, foie gras, jamon iberico and saffron all together, you're gonna get something that tastes like none of it. The flavors don't compliment, they clash.
Same with game mechanics.
I'm a big fan of two things: brevity, and purposeful design. You could make a solid argument to say those things are the same thing, but not always.
First off: ALL OF US could write shorter, and should. Everyone. Even you.
Yes, let's continue to infantilize, downplay and mitigate the virulent, violent racism, anti-semitism and bigotry of these domestic terrorists.
They're just a bunch of good folks, misled by The Evildoers.
This feeds into another lie, that leftists and liberals (and everyone, really) have to be really, really, really nice to these white people, and other white people who are maybe on the fence about moral imperatives, because we'll "push them into the arms of the enemy."
it should not be lost on anyone that "white militiamen storm a government building and law enforcement does nothing" has become so frequent over the last few years that ppl are already dismissing this blatant coup attempt as a failure.
it's one more step to normalizing that when white men don't get what they want they take it by force and are allowed to do so. there will be little to no consequences for today's actions. it will happen again. and again. and again.
overton window shifts to fascism rarely happen all at once; these are gradual steps that have been taken since even before the brooks brothers riot in 2000. decades of radicalization of white men has led to this.
Unpopular #RPG opinion: "a product of its time" is a bullshit excuse, and dissecting the racism, sexism, homophobia and colonial mindsets of a text isn't "attention seeking," it's trying to weed out elements of our industry that never should have been there from jump.
first of all, D&D is a whopping 45 years old, shit wasn't written in ye olden days of yore. there was no excuse for bullshit colonizer mentalities in 1974 and there's none now.
y'all thinskins will spend hours and hours on deep dives of lore and arcana for fictional worlds and never spare a SECOND on examining the intensely problematic elements written into them, because they don't affect you.
