Judas Iscariot: WHAT WAS HIS REAL REASON FOR BETRAYING JESUS?
1. After the “Last Supper,” the gospel says Jesus & his disciples went to an olive roof; called the Garden Of Gethsemane. In this garden, Jesus prayed while his disciples slept.
2. The traditional location of the Garden Of Gethsemane, is at the foot of the Mount of Olives. By been out in the open, so close to the city walls, Jesus was showing himself to be unafraid of the religious authorities, & his impending arrest.
3. But how could they have known exactly when & where to find him? The gospel says it was one of those closest to Jesus, who betrayed him. A man called Judas Iscariot.
4. Judas leaning forward to Jesus, said; “oh master!!”
Then Jesus said to Judas; “this is the hour Judas, the hour of shadows. You betray your master with a kiss.”
But there is no historical account of exactly how Judas betrayed Jesus.
5. The kiss was put into the story as a way of portraying the irony of one of Jesus’s closest disciples, being the one who turned him in.
Traditionally, Judas has been portrayed as the villain of the story. But his motivation for betraying Jesus has always been unclear.
6. Possibly for greed? As the gospel suggested he did it for money. But the actual sum (Thirty pieces of Silver), might have kept him going for a month or so, but not for very long.
So what other reason might Judas have had? There has been numerous theories over the years.
7. One theory is; to force Jesus hand: Jesus wasn’t doing anything to form a rebellion, & so Judas decided that he would force his hand!
Judas thought by having Jesus arrested, Jesus would be more or less forced to call out for help, then the crowd would gather,
8. & then they would form a rebellion, & it would spark an uprising against the Romans in Jerusalem.
This is supported by the idea that Judas may have been a Zealot. Zealot means; an “enthusiast.” We could translate it as “fundamentalist, terrorist, or a freedom fighter.”
9. It depends on which side of the fence you’re on.
Zealots were a group of people fighting for Jewish freedom. That made them enemies of Rome.
Traditionally, the second part of Judas’s name, “Iscariot,” may have been derived from the Latin word; “Sicarios.”
10. A Sicari means a hitman. So, if Judas was a Zealot, then it’s possible he may have wanted to use Jesus in his quest to free Judaea from Roman rule.
Whatever his true motivation was, all 4 gospels, agree that Jesus was arrested, less than a week after he arrived in Jerusalem.
11. Finally, in the 1st century Jerusalem, Jesus was not seen as the messiah by the Jews.
Jesus was seen as a “political figure,” who came to free the Jews from Roman oppression, & taxation. This supports my theory about Judas as a Zealot & of his quest to free Jews from Romans.
12. The four Gospels, that of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John, was in fact written many years after the death of Jesus, between AD 66 & 110, by highly educated Greek scholars. The disciples of Jesus were known to be ordinary fishermen, craftsmen, & tax collector.
13. So it’s inconceivable, that the Gospels was written by the disciples themselves. It’s in fact not an eyewitness account, but accounts of long oral & written communication
The church selects its own agenda, & leaves out texts & accounts that doesn’t subscribe to its teachings

1. Who was this teacher, Islamic cleric, a reformer, & the leader of a revolution? Who was he really?
What precisely does history tell us about him? Let’s take a deep dive into his life & strife to spread Islam throughout Northern Nigeria.
2. My story is set in the late 18th-century. The tail end of that century was remarkable.
Marked by wars & religious upheavals around the world, Africa & indeed Nigeria, was not left out in the turmoil of that era. In what is today much of the Sahel, a revolution was under way.
3. It all started with the dream of a young Muslim cleric called Usman Dan Fodio. Dan Fodio was a teacher in one of the Royal households of what is today, Northern Nigeria.
This Royal household was one of Seven Kingdoms that formed the Hausa lands.
1. Just in case you don’t understand what’s happening: the NNPC confirmed the return of subsidy, PPPRA pegged petrol price at N212.61, returning the subsidy regime.
Recall “subsidy” was why they crucified Goodluck Jonathan? APC lied to Nigerians, before the 2019 Elections.
2. They promised Subsidy was no more. They even called subsidy “under-recovery” at that time. Festus Keyamo was all over the news, defending their new nomenclature.
He taunted some of us on Twitter, saying that what we call subsidy was in fact, an “under-recovery differential.”
3. Even their new EFCC poster boy, Abdulrasheed Bawa (Malami’s pawn), testified against some persons in court this week.
What’s interesting is; “he testified against individuals & companies allegedly fingered in subsidy scam.” The same subsidy the NNPC PPPPRA just reintroduced!!
1. Peace is expensive, but you don’t negotiate with Shekau nor bandits. America understands this. Does Nigeria?
Each time you open negotiations with criminals, you invite trouble, I mean big trouble. Sheikh Gumi is playing with fire. Any nation that buys peace is indebted to war
2. You cannot rule out ethnoreligious & political dimensions to this war. But the insecurity in Nigeria is largely fueled by corruption.
A police sergeant, have his 3 children in a private secondary school or a private university. Plus, he is building a duplex in the city.
3. Police officers pay huge bribes to be posted down South, to lucrative states. You cannot tell me police officers don’t know the location of some of these kidnapper’s den.
These kidnappers & bandits are well known by the police authorities. In some cases, they are protected.
1. Australia passed a law forcing Google & Facebook to pay for News Content published on their platforms.
The new law tagged “News Media Bargaining Code,” will force internet giants Google & Facebook, to pay publishers for News Contents published on their platforms.
2. Before now, internet giants enjoyed 100% profits from News published on their platforms.
The downside to this new legislation is; Facebook & Google may pick & choose which News Media outfits to strike deals with.
3. This will largely depend on the market size (the size of the audience of each News outlet).
This will disenfranchise smaller News outfits. Internet giants will simply cherry-pick who to deal with. I expect pushbacks from Facebook & Google, in form of blocking News websites.
1. I have taken a position & it’s completely different from popular opinion.
“I don’t believe the Ex-Niger Delta Agitators, greatnesses like Asari Dokubo, Tompolo, & the rest of my Niger Delta Freedom fighters, had any knowledge of this video.”
2. I have made my findings & it will shock you to know the levels this regime will go, to deceive unsuspecting Nigerians.
WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION: Sheikh Gumi & his northsmen are up to no good. They noticed the Ex-Niger Delta Liberators are being settled by FG,
3. so they came up with banditry & kidnap for ransom. My brothers since left the creeks, they have since moved on to profitable businesses.
Only a handful still engage in bunkering AKA “Kpofire.” This video is not the handiwork of any bonafide Ex-Niger Delta Liberator,
i) I see Gen Z came with bazookas to a knife fight. But what’s the fuzz about? FK and Moe should have known coconut head children, do not take prisoners😅
Now let’s see what’s peculiar to each Generation:
Gen Alpha (21st Century children) are mostly the children of Millennials.
ii) Gen Alphas; were born early in 2010, they are 11 years today. So they are not on the internet. Therefore, we shall spare them the violence.😊
Millennials (Gen Y) were born between 1981 to 1996. Millennials are the children of Baby boomers (those who bastardized Nigeria).
iii) Millennials are the parents of Gen Alphas. They are the last generation that enjoyed Nigeria. The 2go & Blackberry generation. They used the kobo, showered & danced naked in the rain.
Millennials are the Fintech bosses, CEOs of most Social Media Giants & internet companies.
