We gotta embrace the future. #NFT is really something for digital artists.

I never sold my digital artwork back then because there was no place for me to put my work. I only managed to put them at galleries few times as an exhibition, not for sell because it was digital art.
Joined few exhibitions, my digital art on canvas also some animation work displayed on vertical screen. But people couldn't own it, since it's always just an experience and digital artwork always meant to be in digital space. So putting artworks online was the only way
Also there's no way to authenticate our digital artwork or some sort of certification. Once you put it online, it's always on public domain though you could set a creative commons license. But that's it. No way to own or track, unless you put your work into a physical format.
But with #Cryptoart, I could have all these. I can get my artwork on the blockchain and have a certificate, and it will always be traced back to me even it changes hand.
I could also put my artworks at these marketplaces (online galleries) and have people to buy them if they're interested. Of course, there are multiple marketplaces, but all will link to the creator as long it is within the same blockchain (ETH for example).
But having it across multiple blockchains is quite problematic, I hope for a future where all these are connected regardless of blockchain so you could mint (the process of putting your work on the blockchain) anywhere and always link to you.
I don't know how they gonna do it, but I'm looking at that future. eg: you could mint your work at Tezos blockchain and always connected to the Ethereum guys. I don't know if there's an identity solution to connect and bridge all these blockchains together
I'm on Rarible and Zora ($ETH / Ethereum), hic et nunc ($XTZ / Tezos) and minting several artworks in these places. I'm really in love with creary.net ($CREA) but creary is more like a social network/community like Behance. My stand is on #CleanNFT now.
Now, I'm posting more work at Creary and hic et nunc in support of the #ecoNFT / #CleanNFT. Hoping to see ETH moving into ETH2.0, PoS (cleaner and less carbon footprint) very soon then only I'll go back to minting on ETH. There's also $FLOW and looking forward for that as well
Well, that's my opinion on these #CryptoArt / #NFT situations and I'm always hoping for the best. The protopia future.

I encourage other digital artists to join and get started with creary.net You don't need to pay anything. Just register, upload your works. easy.
just fyi, Creary is not an NFT platform, but a good start to Crypto Art. Putting your work on the blockchain. Here's my profile if you're interested. creary.net/@neroone
i'll be putting links for my profile for those marketplaces i mentioned down here.
