Everyone sees what they're trying to do, right?
Global far right power grab, remember? Misogyny and racism are major security flaws, remember? This is what I meant.
This is part of the response to the murder of a young woman, Sarah Everard, allegedly by a member of the Metropolitan Police Department. He dumped her body in Kent. A feminicide.

Mourners held a vigil for her over the weekend and this is what police did.

But don't worry, police were very worried about the safety... of a statue of Winston Churchill. thelondoneconomic.com/news/protect-c…
That's just one country. Look at what's going on in Mexico. Canada. Australia. Brazil. Poland. Hungary. India. The United States - which is trying to pull back from the brink, at least. Fascism is toxic masculinity first and always.
There are other countries, but but that was a list off the top of my head of places I have noticed recent upticks in anti-feminist policies or state activities
A bunch of citations to follow. First, the rape scandals currently unfolding in Australia, complete with veiled and not-so-veiled physical threats against protesters: theguardian.com/australia-news…
Ditto in Mexico, where a gubernatorial candidate from AMLO's political party is accused of rape and other sexual assaults even as the years-long feminicide crisis continues there:

In Poland, anti-abortion crackdowns are used as excuses to take away still more human rights (story from January 2021)

Hungary's Orban has been at it a bit longer. This is from May 2020

India's struggle and counterpush looks a little different, but I s see it as still part of that same power grab theconversation.com/women-grow-as-…
And as for Canada, I'm seeing shit like this here and there, but more stories like this in 2021 than I have seen since maybe 2013 or so. But this is exactly how it starts, just ask the USA

Finally, this wraps it all up no matter what country you're talking about. And it's all brought to you by the big tech bois running your social media platforms. Happy International Womens' Day (March 8) indeed.

And racism against Asian immigrants shaped the history of the U.S.-Mexico border from the very beginning, to offer another data point
One original nickname for the early Border Patrol was “Chinese catchers” jstor.org/stable/2700784
I did a story about this and spent months researching it. I love that whole region very much. But unearthing this history, of which I previously had known nothing, was absolutely shocking — the history itself but also how little I could find about it jstor.org/stable/2638496…

“Questions still loom about who leaked police information to right-wing media March 4 alleging that Hardesty was involved in a hit-and-run.” wweek.com/news/2021/03/1…

If you don’t vet the things that sources leak to you — or at the very barest of minimums couch it in caveats — you are simply spreading propaganda. Ngo’s no journalist. Glad we could put that one to rest

Boy, the #TantonNetwork is all in. Cruz must think it will change the subject from when he abandoned his constituents to suffer and die in an unprecedented winter storm, or perhaps he's trying to distract Americans from the insurrection he helped incite with weaponized rhetoric
This is, obviously, total bullshit he's spouting. There's no "open borders" policy. There's no dangerous horde. This is just what immigration policy looks like when eugenicists are given free rein to write it.
Everything you think you know about the border is a lie, the product of a disinformation campaign that corrupt or spineless politicians keep alive year over year for personal benefit. They're fundraising to "keep Americans safe" off the lives of the world's vulnerable.

Not to mention that this is the same disinformation campaign and weaponized rhetoric that's been used against the American public for decades. The whole world has changed, but the #TantonNetwork's lies have not.

See? Told you they'd land on this horseshit to try to change the subject. Remember: their rhetoric has not changed in decades. Only the entire world has.
Also, notice there's no "there" there. What is he even talking about? That people are showing up at the border? Boy, if you're sad about this @GOPLeader you should see what the last administration did to asylum-seekers.

This is a distraction attempt using #TantonNetwork disinfo
Never forget that these people used the suffering of the world's vulnerable for photo ops.
