my distrust of media goes back decades, and I'm still at the same dead end: wut do?
I majored in communications (partly bc it was an easy route to a degree, but also bc I loved writing and journalism.) Even in the early 90s, I saw the corruption and lack of recourse for said corruption, so I went another route post graduation.
at issue is the abject failure of congress – they will never pass legislation to reign in our Fake News Media.

Gov Kemp and Dr. Kathleen Toomey claim the CDC and Dr. Deborah Birx revealed game-changing new information Tuesday, 3/31.

what really happened is CDC Director Redfield made this well-known by everyone info more official in a 3/30 interview and in the CDC 4/1 MMWR.
Gov Kemp is an absolute tool. when asked to comment on a prediction of 80% infection rate, Toomey made a salad and Kemp aw golly shucks'd his condescending reply… in which he touted the very experts he WASN'T EVEN LISTENING TO nearly as closely as literally everyone everywhere.

LA man found with missing 13 yr old girl was released from jail as new SF DA, Chesa Boudin, was sworn in.

King John Baylon was facing 18 felonies including possession of child pornography, using a minor for sex acts, and kidnapping for child molestation.

The teen girl, a Fort Bragg resident, was reported missing from UCSF’s Mission Bay campus where a family member was receiving treatment at the Pediatric Diabetes Clinic.

She was located 2 days later at the Ferry Building on The Embarcadero along with 22 yr old King John Baylon.
kudos to all involved.👏🏻 outstanding effort by several organizations, individuals, and intuitions working across many platforms to rescue the girl and catch the bad guy.
(and DA's office let him go 🤬)

biological female who doesn't have a sex label (non-binary) donated her eggs which were fertilized by sperm donated from a man who went on to have sex change surgery, and the embryos were implanted into a biological female who identifies as a man! 🤷🏼‍♀️
