The Interim Administrator/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission Barr. Efiong Akwa who was represented by his able Special
Assistant on youth matters Engr. Udengs Eradiri at the ongoing National Summit on the integration of Artisanal/Modular Refinery Operators into the downstream Oil and Gas Sector in Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel Abuja.
Engr. Udengs Eradiri spoke at large
on the environmental degradation and pollution caused as a result of illegal activities going on in the creeks of the Niger Delta thereby causing harm and reducing the life span of people living in these communities. He however thanked President Mohammad Buhari for
setting the ball rolling by approving this summit and charging his Senior Special Assistant on Niger Delta Affairs & Economic Diversification, Senator Ita Enang to ensure that all stakeholders come together to draw up a road map to ending the illegal activities which engages well
over 50,000 young people daily. Udengs Eradiri who spoke passionately said his boss, Barr. Efiong Akwa is ready to partner with our institutions to train young people in the oil and gas sector.

3,658 men, women and children received received life-saving medical care and health education free of charge at the O. B. Lulu-Briggs Foundation’s 34th Medical Mission, which held in the
ancient city of Isiokpo in Rivers State, Nigeria, from March 8th to March 12th 2021. The treatment and care, which was provided by 140 medical and non medical volunteers, included 59 general surgeries and 24 eye surgeries and was hosted in collaboration with
the Ogbakor Ikwerre USA/Canada and the Ikwerre Local Government Council.

Motor in Nnewi, Anambra State to inspect their facility for the training of young people in the different departments of car building like welding, treatment & spraying, coupling and Quality control etc.
The Chief Executive officer of the Academy recieved the team and
expressed the chairman's readiness for the partnership in training as part of capacity building. In the same vein the Special Assistant to the Sole Administrator echoed his bosses position saying Barr. Effiong Akwa is interested in training and equipping youths in this area to
