Yesterday, the IT cell circulated a context-less interview of this Hindutva leader #NarsinghanandSaraswati who lost his cool when he got to know we are from The Quint. More on that later in the thread. First, some facts from the ground.

The IT Cell claimed that the Muslim boy was a thief and "deserved to be beaten up" based on Narsinghanand's interview.
1. In the interview, Narsinghanand's only cites suspicion which is spun as gospel truth.
2. Do they have any proof to back their claims? ..Contd.

...Neither Narsinghanand nor his followers could provide any proof to back their claims.
3. Was he present at spot? No.
4. Why he claimed he was a thief? According to him, "activities of Muslims in the area" have led to "suspicion".

Now, why did he lose his cool and started screaming?
1. Couple of years ago The Quint had done a documentary where we revealed how he has been spreading hatred against Muslims in the name of a "holy war" and "Love Jihad".

2. The docu had also exposed how his aides were giving weapon training to young Hindu kids to fight against Muslims.

"I am watching each and every activity of you (The Quint) and @thewire_in . The latter recently exposed his role and hate speeches in the run-up to Delhi riots 2020. Muslims in the are say they have been living on the edge for years because of Narsinghanand. Watch what cops say.

For all those who are going to attack me for not putting out the entire video on my platform, I am sorry, I am not going to let him use my report to justify a criminal act with unverified claims. His claims about the boy being a thief has no proof except his fear/hate of Muslims.
