Hey,

So for the next month I’ll #BuildInPublic and share the story of Price Unlock.

We’ll see how the first month goes and re-evaluate after that.

Before that, let me document the current situation.

Then I'll explain Price Unlock.

“A THREAD”

I’m currently working on the following:

1. Legit Check By Ch - an authentication company for sneakers, clothing, bags, watches etc.

💎 We’ve had 5M+ ppl make use of our guides on how to authenticate items
💎 Had tens of 1,000s of customers for our high-end service

💎 Currently developing new ‘pillars’ (more below, in the following tweets)

A pillar = another sub-product that helps the audience even more

2. Legit Check Price Comparison

💸 Collects some money via affiliate (we won’t become billionaires with this product)
💸 MAIN GOAL: trying to get into top SEO rankings of the products we authenticate (e.g. “Adidas Yeezy”, not just “Adidas Yeezy fake vs real”)

💸 Can be a loss leader, if it brings more users to our guides/service

More on the last point: Amazon doesn’t care if Prime Video loses money, as it brings people into the ecosystem. Effectively, they’ve created a way to spend e.g. $0.50 as $1.00

Kinda like Apple When they put out the iPod — Steve moved most of the advertising $$ from iMac into iPod, as the latter drove sales (sooner or later) into the iMac. $1 acts as $2 now.

3. Legit Check Organizer

⚡️A SaaS for resellers, a v important subset of power users
⚡️ Prematurely launched, still looking for PMF
⚡️ Got revenue coming in tho
⚡️ Got a brand-new feature we’re working on that, I reckon, will unlock PMF

LCO is probably overpriced, but I’m more interested in adding utility to match the $39/mo price, rather than reduce the prices.

Considering this a nice long-term potential, as the resell market does’t seem to go down anytime soon

4. A revamp our our core offering for Legit Check By Ch

💎 Sadly can’t disclose too much here but it’s honestly one of the most beautiful things I’ve produced so far in my life.
💎Not beautiful as in flashy or “bleeding edge”. Beautiful as in simple.

Can’t wait to show it to our users, who I reckon will LOVE it.

Would REALLY want to show all my thinking (assumptions that may/may not be correct) here, especially as it ties into the Apple/Amazon example I’ve given in point #2. Will eventually come back and explain!

5. Legit Check App

⚡️ Currently have a public app out there on iOS/Android
⚡️ Hundreds of 1,000s of downloads
⚡️ It SUCKS big time, as it’s outdated
⚡️ In the early phases of re-vamping it so that all the products I’ve described earlier are cohesively put together

6. CH GROUP

Created as an umbrella brand. Thinking was:
🏝️ Create some products that relate to the same audience.
🏝️ Add one overarching navbar.
🏝️ If one product makes it big, it’ll “pull” the other ones as well

Currently blogging my thoughts there, as I’m growing the brand.

7. Running reddit.com/r/SaaS

🏝️ Running it for myself and 16,000+ people
🏝️ So far voluntary work
🏝️ Price Unlock, if done right, will be massively helpful to the community

8. FINALLY HERE: PRICE UNLOCK

⚡️Price Unlock is a tool that will help SaaS companies find the best pricing by allowing them to stop leaving money on the table. Or from taking too much money from the table.
⚡️ Scratching my own itch, for what I need at Legit Check

⚡️ I’ll be the first user (once it’s done), applying Price Unlock to 1,000,000s of users, 1,000s of customers at Legit
