We really don't talk enough about the fact that this wasn't some little grass roots underdog campaign.
It was run by our current ****** Prime Minister!

Scapegoating immigrants:
Here Boris Johnson blames EU citizens for NHS waiting times even though statistically they were improving our doctor-patient ratio which means they were improving our waiting times.

(Also shows he knew £350M was a lie as £10B is £192M/wk)

What's worse?

None of those things had democratic consent: in every election since 2017 the majority have voted for either Labour/SNP/Dems/Greens.

(sorry @marksandspencer)

This isn't just #FascistBritain... this is non-consensual #FascistBritain.

A generation who voted for a Brexit that's trashing the economy, Northern Irish Peace & UK unity and enabled a government that caused the worst (OECD) recession and excess death rate in Europe...

Has THE NERVE to tell 16-yr-olds they're not responsible enough to vote!
#VotesAt16
Tell me how 16-year-olds could have possibly done any worse...

HOW?!?
#votesat16 Image
Explain to me why this 16-year-old didn't deserve to vote in the last election...

"This bill is the tip of an authoritarian iceberg and is on a collision course with public defiance." - @labourlewis

Clive Lewis points out that by damaging the right to protest, the #PolicingBill will lead to a public backlash.
Jon Trickett: This bill would silence the powerless while the powerful keep their control over our lives.

e.g. It would muzzle the employees of @BritishGas who are being blackmailed into accepting worse terms.

"The government is obsessed with using the law to stoke a culture war by giving more protection to inanimate objects than to people." - @angelaeagle

Angela Eagle points out the government's warped priorities and disrespect for free expression. #PolicingBill

The Crown Prosecution Service has a constitutional responsibility to bring charges against politicians who break the law.
Why is the @cpsuk choosing to protect Conservatives? Impartiality demands equality before the law.

Failure to act in these circumstances WOULD be political.
Theresa Villiers:

Position Public Trust: Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.

Violation of that trust: Saying the Irish Border was not a Brexit issue because it hasn't changed in 100 years.

Consequence: Peace process destabilised.
#ChargeThem @CPSuk
Dominic Raab:

Position of Public Trust: Under-Secretary of State for Civil Liberties & Human Rights

Violation of trust: Said Brexit will not create trade barriers then created barriers as Brexit negotiator.

Consequence: Trade down 40%

We put thieves in jail because they chose to damage someone financially for personal gain via dishonest means.

Brexit politicians have damaged people financially for personal gain via dishonest means, on a MUCH larger scale.

So I'm just gonna say it. They all belong in prison.
Literally all of them promised people Brexit wouldn't damage our trade, and that's exactly what's happening.
I'm sorry. I'm just angry after watching this @pkelso report:

Small businesses like Lizzie's can't afford to set up a branch in the EU to avoid the new Brexit costs. But big businesses can and are doing it now.

A clear advantage to large corporations, screwing the little guy.

When something good/bad happens due to Brexit, we must know HOW Brexit caused it AND if that's good or bad.

E.g. If Nissan has to start manufacturing the batteries here because the Brexit Deal means they would now face tariffs otherwise, that's good for this, but bad generally.
In other words... If you were going to judge whether 2020 was a good year, you wouldn't say "Well, face masks sales are through the roof, so clearly the economy was booming."
Not all positives are a good sign.
The fact the 'tariff free Brexit deal' doesn't cover goods that have major components from overseas, is why the battery production had to move to Sunderland to avoid tariffs on electric Nissans.

Large corporations can afford to move things around like that. On the other hand...
