Dear Muslims,

We often join every challenge we see trending, good or bad for the fun of it.

Why don’t we try an even more positive trend for our own good?

Say; #DropASin

Short thread in shaa Allah.
Allah said in the Quran,

“And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned”
(Q42:30)

“Allah will not change the condition of a People until they change what is in themselves”
(Q13;11)

1/
If these are the only evidence we need to change ourselves, they’re more than enough!

No tactics, meetings, conferences, debates, researches or whatever could solve the problems we’re facing today, if we didn’t fix our relationship with Allah.
2/
The simple fact is;

If a community is good, Allah will keep their situation at ease. If they change to doing bad, Allah will change their situation to difficulties.

It’ll remain like that, until they change for good! Nobody & Nothing can change that.

3/
We all know we’re suffering, severely. We jump from one calamity to another;
- Banditry
- Kidnappings
- Murder
- Rape
- Insecurity
- Hunger
- Terror
- Injustice & many more...

Wallahi all these are as result of our own actions.

If we change, Allah’ll help us

4/
Sins are normalized & protected everyday;
• Shirk
- going to “malams” for protection, luck, marital issues

• Zinah
- Non-mahrams touching & holding hands, kiss, hugs
- Unlawful coitus

• Homosexuality

• Indecent dressings

• Wild wedding events & more...

5/
All these happens and majority of the society are okay with it. Barely see it as a problem, Subhanallah.

These are Major Sins, we made minor sins and eventually normal activities.

Wallahi if we don’t drop them sins, we’ll forever remain in hardships.

6/
We can change our leaders infinite terms, and nothing is gonna change, if we didn’t fix our relationship with Allah.

7/
How do we fix the relationship with Allah?

If you’ve 10 sins you know you do, identify the worst of them; try and drop it🙏 quit it wholeheartedly. And make du’ahs about it in shaa Allahu it’ll be gone.

Then take another one next to it, drop it.

#DropASin

8/
Eventually you’ll realize you’ve become a better person.

Bc it might be difficult to drop all sins at once, but gradually in shaa Allah.

As you drop your sins, add in good deeds:
- Sadaqah
- Fasting
- Adhkar
- Quran
- Nawafil Salah & more.

9/
Wallahi if every single Muslim in Nigeria can take this as a challenge, in shaa Allahu before we know it, our problems will be draining😊🙏

I believe we can try in shaa Allah. Just “drop a sin”

#DropASin

10/
Allah SWT doesn’t break promises, so He said if we change for good, He’ll change our situation from bad to good. So lets do it!

May Allah SWT guide us all & ease our affairs, Amin.

#DropASin

How to thank Allah (Ash-Shukr)
Allah SWT said in the Quran that when a slave thanked Him for the blessings he showered on him, He’ll add more blessings to him.

If they didn’t, He can take it away.

It’s compulsory on every believing Muslim to be thankful to Allah for everything.

But how do we thank Allah?
1. Believe in your heart that such blessing is not your doing.

Meaning,
Don’t feel it’s bc of your wisdom, hard work, knowledge, & co. That that blessing happened to you. Like you did it yourself.

Rather, believe that it’s from Allah & His doing. Not yours.

Dear Arewa,

Where is the Hijab?
The Hijab is slowly disappearing in the Community.

It’s difficult to be left unsaid that, in the past it’s very apt to tell a woman or a lady is from the northern part of Nigeria by merely looking at her mode of dressing. It’s descent & modest.
The Hijab can be in other forms such as a big veil which is sufficiently wrapped around her to cover her.

This is how the north dress culturally & Alhamdulillah it agrees with the teaching of Islam.

Do you know a sin can take someone to JANNAH(paradise), While a good deed can take someone to JAHANNAM(hell fire) ???

Read👇🏾
How a Sin can be a reason why someone enter Jannah.

Someone can commit a Sin, & because of that he’s regretful & remorseful. He’ll always remember that Sin & it’ll make him repent & do more good deeds.

He’s always afraid Allah might punish him, so he do more good

1/
As a result of that, his Imān & Taqwa will be increasing & eventually he died in that state. Allah’ll forgive & have mercy on him & admit him to Jannah. Ma shaa Allah

What is Publicizing of Sins?
Publicizing sins is sinning openly or exposing a sin you did hidden.

It’s a Major Sin(Kabā’ir)
It’s HARAM
The Person knows it’s a Sin, but yet they go straight & do it, proudly.

This will
- Spread Immorality
- Encouraging bad acts(evil)
- Motivate others to do the same

They become Agents of Shaytān, promoters of immorality & destruction of Ummah
