Let’s see it, because the nation... hell the world needs to see the face of a leader who in 2021 would dare to repeat the evils of the past & block civil/equal rights for all Americans.

56 years ago ... 600 marched to be seen, to be heard, to be valued. They were harassed, beaten, & bloodied. The nation responded w/ the passage of the VRA, yet today legislatures across the nation are passing laws to limit the rights once again. #WeWontGoBack 1/
Similar to then, there is a looming question today for Democrats & Republicans in Congress- what will you do in the face of injustice?

HR1/HR4 puts an end to attempts to suppress the rights of voters & honors the hurt, harm, & sacrifices of so many like my hero John Lewis. 2/
I hope folks can put aside the pettiness & partisanship to do what is right. However if the GOP decides to not move forward, Democrats MUST act and do what is necessary to protect the rights of all voters in the nation. #WeWontGoBack #ForThePeopleAct 3

Words can’t express how much much I loved and admired Don Fowler. If there was a logo of a Democrat it would be Don. Next year was going to be his 50th year as a @DNC Member.

Don was DNC Chair, @scdp Chair and President of Young Dems. There will never be another Don Fowler.
My first memory of Don was when I was an intern for @WhipClyburn . Don was the @DNC Chair & we had just gotten a huge delivery of peaches from SC. Don asked me to deliver peaches across DC & my last stop was the prize- the White House. I was overjoyed & so appreciative of Don.
Since that moment, every major step I’ve taken in Democratic politics, Don has been there to guide and mentor me. From SCDP Chair to my races for DNC Chair to US Senate, Don has been in my corner. I even taught his class with my friend and former SCGOP chair @MattMooreSC.

.@LindseyGrahamSC has forgotten rural South Carolina.

Outside of our cities, roads and bridges are crumbling, hospitals are closing, and folks can’t access fast, reliable broadband.

My Rural Hope Agenda is a bipartisan plan to bring back opportunity to all South Carolinians.
COVID-19 laid bare the inequities of our healthcare system. But even before that, the neglect by our leaders cost the lives of rural South Carolinians.

You cannot work or raise a family if you are sick. The Rural Hope Agenda will bring hope and health back to these communities.
When you have a health emergency and your nearest hospital is 45 minutes away, that can be a death sentence.

I support Sen. Grassley’s REACH Act, which will provide support for cost-efficient rural hospitals and enable other medical facilities to provide care and save lives.

It’s been a crazy day, but this evening I sat down to really reflect on how far we’ve come in this campaign. When I got in this, no one thought we could pull it off (1/x)
The first poll my team got after officially launching had us *17 POINTS* behind Graham.

It felt like it was impossible to close in on that lead, but we were going to try. (2/x)
This team got to work, and we hit the ground running — talking to voters all over the state, listening to their concerns, and starting Harrison Helps so that we could start to bring hope back ASAP.

And then, we were only 7 points down. (3/x)
