23-year-old Randy Park, the son of Atlanta-area shooting victim Hyun Jung Grant, remembers his mother as someone 'who dedicated her whole life to providing for my brother and I,' Park wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to help with his family's funeral costs and living arrangements 
A 21-year-old white man admitted to a March 16 shooting rampage across multiple spa businesses in the Atlanta metro area that left 8 people dead and another wounded.
Six of the victims were women of Asian descent, including Grant, a 51-year-old spa employee. The suspect has been charged with eight counts of murder and one felony count of aggravated assault.
While law enforcement say that the attacks might not have been 'racially motivated,' researchers and other activists have remained steadfast that race played a role in the attack.
According to the post on the GoFundMe page, Park said he's in the midst of trying to figure out what the future brings for him and his brother after his mother's death.
'As much as I want to grieve and process the reality that she is gone, I have a younger brother to take care of and matters to resolve as a result of this tragedy. Frankly, I have no time to grieve for long...
I will need to figure out the living situation for my brother and I for the next few months, possibly year.'
In an interview with Patrick Adams of the Daily Beast, Park spoke out against what law enforcement was told by the suspect about being motivated by a sexual addiction, saying the claim was ‘bullsh*t’ and that the gunman's family should ‘take some f*cking responsibility.’
