Thread about the top post, "Russia wants revenge, and the GOP is cheering them on"
Ron DeSantis has actively covered up Florida’s COVID-19 numbers and sent law enforcement after someone who didn't. Most recently, he banned critical race theory from public schools, opting for a whitewashed education curriculum.
Ted Cruz recently fled the country to escape a crisis in Texas, the state he represents, and then he blamed his daughter. He is a favorite of the Parler dark money donor family, the Mercers. Seems super fit to be president someday.
Sidney Powell, now infamously associated with the slogan “release the Kraken,” admits in court filings that there never was any evidence for the GOP’s Dominion election fraud conspiracy (and no Kraken to release).
Dominion Voting Systems filed a defamation lawsuit against Powell in January. Today, she argues that the case should be dropped because no one *really* believed her claims.
Powell’s Dominion conspiracy was broadcast on national television. It was supported by Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Mike Lindell, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley–the list of Republicans who backed her claims is longer than the list of Republicans who didn’t.

Political and media figures in Moscow appear angrier than ever after President Biden agreed that Vladimir Putin is “a killer” on U.S. television on Wednesday. No one is denying that Biden’s assessment is correct, but no one’s supposed to state the obvious like he did.
Some commentary in Russia has been arguably harmless, with Putin offering to debate Biden and others pushing a narrative that Biden’s "dementia" makes it hard for him to control himself. But those comments are just the tip of the iceberg.
In some cases, Russians have called on Putin to “release the kompromat,” a word referring to damning material that can be used as blackmail — like Epstein’s tapes of Donald Trump or information that the StB may have obtained from Ivana Trump’s phone calls in the late '70s.
