Starting at the age of 1, “ghetto children” must be separated from their families for at least 25 hours a week, not including nap time, for mandatory instruction in “Danish values,”

Noncompliance could result in a stoppage of welfare payments. Other Danish citizens are free to choose whether to enroll children in preschool up to the age of six.
Some are punitive: One measure under consideration would allow courts to double the punishment for certain crimes if they are committed in one of the 25 neighborhoods classified as ghettos, based on residents’ income, employment status, education levels, number of criminal convic
criminal convictions & “non-Western background.” Another would impose a 4-yr prison sentence on immigrant parents who force their children to make extended visits to their country of origin — described here as “re-education trips” —in that way damaging their “schooling, language
Another would allow local authorities to increase their monitoring and surveillance of “ghetto” families.

Some proposals have been rejected as too radical, like one from the far-right Danish People’s Party that would confine “ghetto children” to their homes after 8 p.m.
“Some will wail and say, ‘We’re not equal before the law in this country,’ and ‘Certain groups are punished harder,’ but that’s nonsense,” he said, adding that the increased penalties would affect only people who break the law.

Ashton / Aimee Challenor grew up in a house where his father raped and tortured a 10-year-old girl whilst wearing a frilly dress and a nappy and calling himself Lucy.

From a very young age, Aimee had intimate relationships with at least three much older males, two of whom claim female identities, all of whom are part of the furry/ furbaby/adult baby/nappy-lovers fetish scenes
In August 2018 Aimee's father, David Challenor, was found guilty of torturing and raping a 10-year-old girl in the attic of the family's Coventry home. Images of child abuse, including photographs of Challenor and his victim,

PREVENT policy was conceived for Muslims. At its inception, around the time of UK’s illegal, invasion of Iraq, PREVENT’s purpose was to
prevent British Muslims from ‘breaking bad’ & radicalising. This decision was made before any major domestic attack took place on British soil
In the wake of Christchurch, British news media have seen government officials triumph PREVENT, a nation-wide policy which hopes to identify and ‘intervene on’ pre-criminals before they develop violent intent.
These officials do so without the least bit of irony – but all the gall – considering the government finally acquiesced to an independent review of PREVENT given widespread disapproval of the policy.

Now it’s worth mentioning that Prevent is one of the most prominent counter-terror strategies from the Home Office.
So the question is this: if Prevent has had over £35m in funding every single year since 2015 (to say nothing of pre-2015),

So the question is this: if Prevent has had over £35m in funding every single year since 2015 (to say nothing of pre-2015), why is that money producing “nothing of real weight to counter extremism”?

Where is that money going?
When we reached out to the Home Office for comment, a spokesperson told us: Image

Journalist and commentator Mehdi Hasan recently went on MSNBC to argue that, for white mass shooters, the question is “always, was he mentally ill, deranged, loner,” while a Muslim shooter is always “a terrorist fueled by ideology."

To truly measure & understand variations in media coverage of terrorism, we need two things: a clear set of cases to study and a clear set of media sources to consider. As researchers, we rely on incident-level terrorism datasets that are systemic and unbiased –
are systemic and unbiased – such as the Global Terrorism Database – to identify which attacks to study. We then consider all media coverage of those incidents from a specific news outlet or set of news outlets.

The media plays a crucial role in highlighting the important facts the public should know by selecting, broadcasting, and emphasizing what events the public should classify and comprehend as important and what the public should assess as a threat

This paper explores the notion that the media reinforces a false synonym between Muslims and terrorism.

I begin with a description of news framing bias and how this bias impacts the portrayal of terrorism and Muslims through politically and emotionally charged discourse
Then, through a content analysis of local and national news articles, I examine selected terrorist events in France and Turkey, analyzing the U.S media’s portrayal of these events to uncover what elements journalists select, emphasize,
