Not going to live tweet the entire Parliamentary business today but right now Priti Patel is introducing her awful new Sovereign Borders Bill which aims to make certain asylum seekers illegal, ostensibly to "protect" them from smugglers parliamentlive.tv/Event/Index/4e…
"No one can say the British public is not fair or generous when it comes to helping those in need," Patel says. Lol. 
As reported, Patel saying that "for the first time", route asylum seekers take will decide whether their claim is "legal or illegal". So, if they go through a country they could theoretically claim asylum in first, like France, claim will be "inadmissible" essentially. Terrible.
This Bill will establish a "fast track appeals process" which Patel basically says will prevent "last minute appeals" against deportation. Clearly inspired by the frustration of being stopped with her plans for recent mass deportation flights.
