Left unsaid here is that these 75 people can put enormous amounts of money behind Newsom, who can raise unlimited amounts for the recall.

Netflix founder Reed Hastings and his wife Patty Quillin didn't sign this letter, but the couple this year also donated $120,000 to Newsom's reelection campaign, so I'd expect them to be people to watch, too.
