What's great about @midwestcamp this year is the really cool way they've structured the conference:

🔹Friday -> “Share Your Knowledge” un-conference
🔹Sat -> "Give Back to the Project" day

The new format has really allowed for some more spontaneity and excitement - both in submitting and attending sessions. I think it's a great format after all the virtual fatigue we're having this year so kudos to you

What are the things that site builders and developers can do to make life easier for the editors who spend their time maintaining Drupal sites?

📝understand who you're building for and what complexity is helpful for *them* ✨

- use consistent naming across your custom entities
- configure roles in a way that balances power *and* configurability
- keep page loads useful (when redirecting users post forms)

@mandclu cites Jakob's Law to remind us that people have existing mental models for the internet - and if you can leverage and use those, it will make your site more useful to people.

A key highlight that I really thought was really great was to remember to minimize your use of #Drupal -isms.

Refer to things by their specific names (i.e call content types by their names) - it is more concrete for people and easier for them to parse.
