People are DMing me about this extremely tedious thread of

"sources on Uyghurs oppression and concentration camps that cannot, by any sane person at least, be called western propaganda"

by @thecoleslaws

so I will really explain how they're western propaganda
"A powerful piece by Chinese communists"

The "Chinese communist" in question is Darren Byler, an American Kissinger Institute Fellow writing under "Adam Hunerven" to trick idiots.

This enemy of the Chinese State collaborates with the Canadian State.
This book?

Comes from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

The same hole that spawned Darren Byler up above.

It's almost like they have a program going or something.
I want to be clear that this is Darren Byler, because he comes up a lot.

He's not a "Chinese Communist."

He's not remotely a communist. He's a white anthropologist, like this other guy in Bolivia:
LausanHK, you'll notice, follows the same naming structure as ChuangCN. It's also meant to shepherd idiots into believing regime change propaganda is "leftist."

One of the main figures behind it is Wilfred Chan, who worked at the White House.

Some takes.
I want in particular people to notice Wilfred Chan's writing for Dissent on 2019, to Dissent on 2002 on Iraq by its editor Michael Walzer.

If you don't see what's happening here you're slow.
Darren Byler, again.

The Kissinger Institute Fellow who's proud of collaborating with genocidal Canada against China.

Kinda weird that CFR and Google are so eager to collaborate with a "socialist."
spectator.us/topic/academic…
Then we get a bunch of "leaked data" and "translations."

We dropped the whole "communist sources" (of which there were none), and moved on to Ramzy territory.

Here's how western outlets play fast and loose with language and context.
Then, the fanfare of sharing "unimpeachable sources" is over, and we go back onto regular territory, which is well-trod.

If you're a socialist believing Reuters, NYT, Guardian et al on their anti-China propaganda, then that's on you.

Here:
I know lies travel a lot faster than truth, but truth only needs to travel once.

If you care about this topic, please read this essay I wrote, and ask me questions that are left lingering.

And pay special attention to the conclusion.
Oh yeah, I also recommend everyone pays attention to how similar this recent thread is to a past one I broke down.

If you like "debunks," I debunked this guy so hard he called me a pedophile, deleted the thread, and then deleted his entire account.
It's *literally* just the latter.

You know how radlibs go around screaming about "stanning a red flag"?

Well, all it takes for them to become staunch pushers of US propaganda is a vulnerable-sounding person repeating it using meme keywords.
They'll go around screeching about "red flags" then cite the CPP or CPIML like a binding authority.

Explicit calls to collaborate with US sanctions? Citing the NY Times? Irrelevant.

They have a red flag *and* they're underdogs. Trump card, brah.

Another question for non-"tankie" followers:

Some people seem to believe that the US wouldn't dress up right wing propaganda points in Marxist terminology to push them onto communist circles, as if it a magic spell stopped them from lying this way.

Why? What's the logic here?
There's this strange reticence, as if someone writing down "capitalism bad" was a binding covenant, after which everything else written had to be sincere.

As if being a communist had magical properties one simply couldn't lie about (unless Chinese).
A slew of radlibs has tried to defend Byler on the basis that they absolutely love what he wrote for Chuang.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of regurgitating Falun Gong propaganda like this? Image

Hot Take: Any talk about "Cold War" is itself reactionary.

The incessant never-ending imperialist siege began with the invasion of the Soviet Union in 1918 by every imperial power, and did not cease until it was destroyed.

Liberals: I can't believe QAnon cultists seriously believe teenagers are being brainwashed into feminism, homosexuality, and atheism in organ-harvesting FEMA camps in California.

also Liberals: It's all happening in China, though!!!!
I can't get over this poorly-translated "reeducation camp footage" from fundamentalist nutcase Olsi Jazexhi. 😄

*footage of teens hanging out*

"THESE CHILDREN WERE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING ATHEIST, THIS IS CULTURAL GENOCIDE!"
Liberals aren't any better than QAnon people.

They wallow in their atrocity porn in exactly the same way. They're just richer and more well-travelled, their social bubble looks a bit different.

I bet QAnoners look down on pre-internet people. 😂

A good example of racism is how Chinaphobes invoke the 2010 Foxconn suicide nets story.

"China" is forever held responsible (not Taiwan, Apple, or consumers), their handling of it ignored.

Meanwhile, inexcusable warmongering by AOC or Sanders today is excused as "tactical."
I think it's one of the most important ones to study because it captures broader dynamics.

The beneficiaries of Apple products were *Western consumers*, but the story was crafted in such a way that they could expunge their *own* guilt and pin it on the Chinese.
Marx discusses a lot how the relationship between capitalists and workers is vampiric.

The capitalist *knows* he owes everything to workers. This clashes with the überman superiority they wish to project. The exploiter sees his dependency on proles as an embarrassing secret.

"Stop copjacketing! Copjacketing is one of the worst things you can do. Copjacketing is akin to using slurs!

Anyway, to build socialism in the US we need a Big Tent approach. Embrace your Biden-voting and Ex-Nazi comrades, but watch out for toxic pro-China tankies!"
Going around calling people cops is extremely divisive!
Why would you say such *hurtful* things?
