Welp, first kid is back to school this week. My oldest starts back next week. She’s 8th grade & had planned to stay home (even w/ her brother going back) but she would’ve had new teachers. So she’s back next week. We gone see how this goes!
My 8th grader was absolutely fine w/ not stepping foot in her middle school ever again lol. But she loves her teachers & wants to keep them. Wild that she’s never met them in person. What a year 2020 was & thank GOD we have new leardership. We’ll see what this 8th grade...
...graduation will be lookin like. Tyger’s 10th bday is Friday so he’s happy he’ll be back in school for it. No cake/cupcakes tho (obvs). Still, he’ll be around other 4th graders which I know he misses😩
Also, s/o to the brand new shoes/clothes I got back in Aug 2020 for the ✌🏾New school year✌🏾. He can’t fit nothin & feet done grew a whole size & a half smh. On the bright side, me & him now wear the same size. My kids wearin the same size shoe as me & being the same height as...
...me always sneaks up on me. I’m only 5’5 so it doesn’t take much. Still, that means they aren’t babies anymore. Cuz then they get taller then me & hit puberty I gotta remind everybody it’s not their daddy they need to be scared of. Other than that tho it’s all 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Also, I cannot believe I will have a highschooler soon. Like, wow. Neither me or my husband went to regular highschool, so we’re super excited. Last ‘school school’ I went to was 10th grade. The first part of the year was hard. I’d show up Monday & have to re-introduce...
...myself to teachers/students cuz I’d be gone again Tues-Friday. Cuz I was working🤷🏽♀️. Tho when our P’Hood season was over, I did get to go everyday. Went to Jr. Prom & that was fun. Had a tutor full time after tho. I loved school so I’m excited for her. Maybe too excited 😂
