I'm not rich, but I have a couple thousand in cash and assets.
Started making money online in 2018.
In Feb, I quit the cooperate world.
So, what are some habits that separate the rich from the poor?
A thread...
1. Discipline - Financially and emotionally.
Because you had a bad day at work doesn’t mean you need to spend £200 on clothes to cheer yourself up.
Rich people tend to save with more precision and meet their goals on a much more consistently.
Poor people have no discipline.
2. Goal setting - Rich people figure out what they want.
They make plan to get what they want and then they go to work to achieve it.
They break it down into long term and short term goals.
For some reason, poor people either don’t set goals at all or they set and forget it.
3. Excuse mentality - You need to realize that everything is on you.
Personally, I have lost a couple thousand due to factors beyond my control, but still the reason I don’t have $1m is that I just haven’t done enough yet.
Get honest with yourself and drop the excuses.
4. Resistance and perseverance - Rich people didn't give up at the first sight of danger.
Most self-made millionaires didn’t make their millions the first time they set up a business.
The old saying is true…’ If at first, you don’t succeed, try and try again’
5. Delegating - If you’re running a business, you can’t be doing the accounts, the admin, the stationary orders, answering the phones.
Focus on things that ‘make the boat go faster’
Poor people are busy, but busy is not making an impact. Busy keeps you busy, not successful.
6. Frugality - Poorer people, just have no control over their finances.
They don’t set budget goals. They just spend what’s available. They have a feast or famine mindset.
They blow a month's wage in 2 weeks and have 2 weeks without being even able to take a trip to Starbucks.
Bonus.
Myth - Getting up early - I don’t really believe this, I have never been good in the mornings and I am much more creative at night.
The time you get up to work does not have much impact on your success.
Just do what suits you and/or your sleep.

1. If you think you just need intelligence to succeed, then this belief will make life difficult.
Success comes to those who know how to digest failures, criticism, long hours, keep working even when there is 1% chance of success, that is only achieved by one quality— Resilience
2. Companies expect 10 years of experience from you while hiring you but while giving you a salary they perfectly remember that you are graduate.
