This trial of white St. Louis police officers charged with beating a Black undercover officer (who they thought was a protester) started with an all white jury over prosecutor’s objections. One alternate jury was subbed in last week, leaving an overwhelmingly white jury in place.
“Let’s whoop love some ass.” — Myers

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these shitheads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart.” — Boone
“If it was a protester it wouldn’t be a problem at all.”

“He's pumped up about this. He's excited about beating up protesters. He didn't want to beat up a policeman. It was going to be OK to beat up a protester, but it wasn't OK to be up a policeman.” ksdk.com/article/news/l…
"How it was laid out by the U. S Attorney's office was perfect. But you cannot get past Black and white." — @HthrTylr stltoday.com/news/local/cri…

The FBI Capitol wanted photo of the suspect who looks like Rick Moranis has received more media coverage than any other wanted photo the FBI has posted, which is a pretty solid argument for giving insurrection subjects nicknames! huffpost.com/entry/rick-mor…
"Because of the sheer number of defendants being targeted, the FBI hasn’t chosen to give nicknames to any Capitol insurrectionists yet.” huffpost.com/entry/fbi-capi…
