If you're part of the huge group that's about to become eligible for vaccination in NYC (age 30+ tomorrow, 16+ Apr 6th)...

Here's a short run-down on where to get a vaccine appointment. 1/

If you have a relationship with a regular doctor or clinic, that is a good place to start. Many have the ability to schedule for patients, or even offer vaccination themselves. 2/

City-run vax sites have already added an option to schedule for aged 30+ (will add 16+ next week). Check for appts here: vax4nyc.nyc.gov

State-run sites will be open to younger NYers as well, check here: covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov

To search for appointments across many different public and private sites, check NYC's vaccine finder: vaccinefinder.nyc.gov

You can also use volunteer-run services which scan all sites automatically: nycvaccinelist.com or turbovax.info

Major hospital-run sites will likely serve younger NYers soon, though timing not clear. Here are the big ones:

It is unclear if/when pharmacies will expand to 30+ / 16+, but you can check for appointments across various chains and independents here: vaccinefinder.org

Approx 2M people are going to be added to eligibility over the next week in NYC. There's going to be a huge crush for appts. But don't give up. If you know how to search you will indeed get your vaccine, and a whole new world of possibility will open up for you. Good luck! 8/8

Update: Aged 30+ can now use main scheduling websites. Virtually no appts available at this time, will alert if/when there is a big drop.
