For those with vaccine hesitancy see the data for Karnataka . We have over 38.5 Lakh vaccination given . Only 2 severe AEFI and 23 serious AEFI and no deaths attributable to the vaccine (zero today) whereas we have had 18 deaths today in one day !!
Remember we were giving to the high risk and elderly group till today who had a higher chance of serious/severe AEFI technically and they have all tolerated it well. TAKE THE VACCINE
Also people think that they are very informed but no they are not the reality of COVID and its ill effects have been seen first hand by people like us. Do not get into various controversies and minutae. That's for the experts who are actively monitoring and more knowledgeable
So trust and take. Its a risk benefit thing and is highly skewed towards vaccination. Contrary to what you think you will NOT get a choice of vaccine. Even we do not know what we will receive next day. so take what you get. Its all about survival Now rather than later
In a pandemic vaccination is about "Us" and not "I" so thinking that I will wait is a useless exercise and if you get infected despite being eligible you will be harmed or transmit it to others.
As a note vaccination does not mean you can drop precautions-its like a seat belt/helmet-reduces your chances of getting maimed/killed but cannot ensure nothing will happen. Drive safe & use SMS - sanitization+Mask+ social distancing . That still remains the most effective thing
