I really wish I could buy the idea defended by aviation people that there is no Covid risk inside a plane because the air moves upwards and is constantly filtrated and blah blah. 90% of the colds I ever got were in a plane...
Now if airlines had at least stopped serving their horrible food during a pandemic so people would keep their masks on. But no luck. I believe they would bring those trolleys over even after both wings broke off
There is of course a study showing like 7 people got Covid on a Singapore-London flight a year ago. Business seats too
Airplane bathrooms are extremely problematic. Which is why Chinese airlines force the crew to wear diapers

Not quite sure how this is compatible with the classification as genocide
The way I read it Biden is saying China has a justification for doing what it is doing in Xinjiang but Biden cannot afford politically not to criticise it, which Xi understood and accepted
The worst in a way is that Biden seems to say China needs to be united in order not to be victimised - and united means HK, Xinjiang ... and Taiwan

The US and the international order. Two approaches in recent years. First, Trump consistently dismantling or ignoring it in belief American power is greater outside its limits
Problem was without the guidance of the existing order, policy became lost and erratic. What was the goal in confronting China? Either a random one like the trade deficit or no goal at all
Now Biden: recover the international order as created by the US. American power greater in that framework and it also provides stable guidance, north star and compass. But...
