New CO-VID (!!!) about 90's first-person shooter design and why Ion Fury's arsenal of weapons, despite seeing good on paper, never really *works*.
Ion Fury was made - in part - by transphobes and me discussing it is not endorsing it. If you were interested in the game before the transphobia came to light, rest assured, it's also frustrating to play.
I contested YouTube age-restricting the new video, saying the pornographic material is heavily censored, I can't talk about the racist underpinnings of "cuck" without talking about porn, and under-18s use the term and should know its origins.
In response the deleted the video.

I can make changes and reupload but all the views and comments are gone and I have a community strike against my channel.
They said they determined my video was for "sexual gratification."
I dreamed both Wolfenstein: The New Order and BioShock had gender select options and I was replaying them as a woman. The player character in both was played in FMV by Rachel Bloom and the stories made her an adorkable ditz. She called this out as sexist on Twitter.
Wolfenstein opened with her crashing a fighter jet behind enemy lines by spilling a smoothie on the controls.
The idea of Rachel Bloom being too cutesy-incompetent to fly a plane but then dual-wielding auto-shotguns to shoot Nazis is pretty hilarious, good job, subconscious!
The outro song I used (h/t to @AndyEyeballs for introducing me to Sarah and the Safe Word) got copyright flagged, but I like it too much to replace, so I'll be getting no ad revenue on that one.
To compensate, I'm throwing $100 of my own money at Critical Resistance next month.
