A discussion with a Muslim Voter : Transcripts

M : Mahesh Bhai its been two years since you sent us to Makkha and Medina for Umra , we still remember it, i have been to to Makkah 30 times in my life , but your tour was the best, kindly take these Almonds

Me : Thank you Bai.
M : I wanted to talk to you about 2021 polls, we have been observing you for so many years , we like you , your activities are so good , you are such a nice person , but why are you in BJP
Me : Bhai iam nice because i follow BJP Ideology
M : Can i ask you some questions
Me : Sure
M : We muslims feel insecure under BJP
Me : You feel insecure because you have a closed mind , you are blindly accepting the hate propaganda of the parties like congress & DMK , who treat Muslims as mere vote bank , and they exploit you each time during elections
Me : Bhai there have been 59 communal riots in India since 1947 , wherein more than 100 people have died , of this
54 have happened under Congress rule
4 under other party rule
Just 1 under BJP rule GJ, that too was started by Congress
M : I didn't know the above stat
Me : Bhai has any communal riot taken place in these 7 years of Modi sarkar
M: No
Me : What did the opposition tell you about BJP in 2014
M : If BJP comes minorities will be gone, minorities will be intimidated , our rights and freedom will be snatched away by BJP
Me : Has anything of that sort happened to you
M: Not really , but CAA and removal of Art 370
Me : CAA is in no way affecting Muslims living in India , it is giving citizenship to the religious minorities persecuted in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan
M : Agree what about 370
Me : Abrogation of Art 370 has not affected the lives of Millions in any way , has it affected your life in any way
Me: Not really
Me : Cong has ruled India for over 60+ years , still as per survey , Muslims in India have the least literacy and max poverty
M: Agree
Me : If you go by the arguements of Cong and DMK. Muslims should have had the highest literacy rate and the most affluent community in India
M: Agree DMK & Congress are using us as mere vote banks
Me : Muslims in BJP ruled GJ are the most affluent in the country
M: Agree
Me : Bhai its high time Muslims in India reconcile to the fact that there can be harmony between communities only if there is mutual respect and genuine desire for economic development. By joining hands with parties like DMK to defeat bjp you are falling into their trap
Me : parties like DMK & Cong think that by insulting Hindus they can please the minorities and thereby get your vote
M: you have made me wear the thinking hat, i will definitely discuss with my family and friends
Me : Thank you Bai

There once lived a king who announced to prize the artist who would paint the best painting  depicting peace. Many great painters sent the king several of their best art pieces. One of the pictures among the various master pieces was of a calm lake perfectly mirroring peacefully
towering snow-capped mountains. Overheard was a blue clear sky with fluffy clouds. The picture was perfect. Most of the people who viewed the pictures of peace from various artist thought that it was the best among all.

But when the king announced the winner,
everyone was shocked. The picture which won the prize had a mountains too but it was rugged and bare. The sky looked very angry, there were lightning.  This did not look peaceful at all. It looked like the artist has mistakenly submitted his painting depicting storm rather than

A young woman worked for  a merchant who lived on top of a hill. She worked as the merchant’s laundress and every day she had to walk down the hill to collect water from a stream. She had two pots to carry water, which she hung upon a pole she could carry over her shoulders
With time one of her pot got a slender crack along its side. She observed the cracks on the pot and decided she could still use it.

Every day, the woman carried those pots down the hill to the stream, filled them to the brim, and  walked back up the hill, balancing the pole
across her shoulders. By the time she reached the house, the cracked  pot would be only half full while the other pot delivered a full portion of water
The cracked pot glanced at the other pot and saw water filled to the top, and it began to feel desolate.

A man got frustrated with life. Despite all the hard work and effort, failure was all that he learnt.  Feeling defeated with life, he left everything and exiled himself in the woods. There he met a Hermit. The disappointed man shared is failure with the hermit.
“Give me one good reason not to quit?”- He pleaded the Hermit
“Look”, the hermit said, pointing towards two plants. “Do you see that fern and bamboo there?
“Yes”, the man nodded.

“When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them water,
light and fertilizer. Within a short period of time the fern quickly grew from the earth”, the hermit continued.

“But despite the Bamboo seed being watered and nurtured for years, it did not outwardly grow as much as an inch. In fact, nothing at all happened in the first year.

Once a man was wandering on a deserted  beach in a lovely morning. The sun was shining and the sea looked amazing. As he strolled along the beach, he could see a man going back and forth between the surf’s edge and the beach. As he approached the man,
he noticed that he was throwing starfishes to the sea. The man noticed hundreds of starfish stranded on the sand brought by the tides.

The man was stuck by the apparent vanity of the task. There were hundreds of starfish on the beach and many of them were sure to perish as the
sun grew stronger by the day. But the man continued the task of picking up a starfish one by one and throwing them into the sea.

“I must ask, why are you throwing starfish into the ocean?”  he asked as he approached the man throwing the starfish.

The Japanese have always loved fresh fish. However, the waters close to Japan have not held many fishes for decades. The fishermen, therefore, had to go further out to sea to catch their supply of fish and the fishing boat got bigger and bigger. Farther the fishermen went
to procure fishes, longer it took them to bring the fishes in.  So by the time they reached the market, the fishes were no longer fresh.

To solve this problem, fishermen installed freezers on their boats. They would freeze the caught fishes in it. This helped in preserving the
fishes for a longer period of time, but the freshness, as the Japanese desired, could not be retained. The price of frozen fishes started going down.

Then, the worried fishermen installed fish tanks. They would catch fish and keep them in the tanks, fin to fin. The fishes would
