normies still dont get what NFTs are which is totally fine and extremely understandable but the narrative they got funneled into about it being some type of hyper-nefarious scam is really something
they cant see any of the massive other nefarious collusions you try to show them but suddenly everyone that ever had a deviant art account has cracked the code and realized that theres a multi level scheme to get people to sell digital art in a new way and plz dont get sucked in
i havent done any NFT stuff so i guess im neutral, im definitely not against it, but i would put money on it being an emergent tech that will pop off in art and video games (especially video games), once its rebranded and given a social media / normal people friendly interface
in reality what will probably happen is eventually normal people will be using the technology of NFTs or something just like it but they wont know it, itll have a different name, so theyll laugh about the days of the taco bell NFT + how dumb everyone was while using it themselves
the other flip side being that yes even if the integration of nfts and art is dumb, every criticism applied to it also applies to normal art
most days i walk my dog past a field full of cows. i look up, theyre frozen. staring at my dog: a cattle dog. they know. they intuitively know they are subservient to her. she doesnt care, hardly looks up, but they know. i feel like a dick saying it but many people are like this.
out of all the people in my life, online, offline, family, old friends, maybe in a classroom, anywhere, who have ever had a problem with me, know how many of them have ever actually just straight up talked to me about it. zero. never. because they know. they know their own nature
even on here, this is just an accelerated example of real life, im too busy for it to bother me but its just interesting, if i see someone talking shit or having the wrong idea about me, sometimes ill hit them up. ask whats up. man to man. they never respond. ever. not once. ever
red alert all strange friends: new vibe pack, new supply drop, new style, is en route to your feed and potentially your life (if you want) right now. its a topic we havent covered in a minute. had this one cooking in the lab for a while now.
had the idea to periodically release some smaller fine art style prints from the studio in small packs with some stickers ive been printing along the way. did the first one sometime last year, made 40, they sold out, it was a good time. time for chapter 2
now its time for the [second] vibe pack. "second inkjection" - american cryptids print with the suite of theo-aesthetica stickers. some new. some classic. let me show you all about it in this thread. u can look for fun even if u dont want to pick it up
really been feeling a deep atavistic desire to roam around a low polygon or pixelated video game city for a while now. trying to see what this “means”, like when your body is craving one thing, it actually is telling you youre missing some vitamin or so called “nutrient”.
cyber realm aesthetics peaked for me w things like n64, half life 1, gta 2, i need a large gap between the image + reality. just like real life, therein lies the artistry. i dont play games anymore but i still think about that low polygon feel sometimes, theres something about it
this isnt true at at, in fact although its almost impossible to tell i bet its kind of the opposite, it seems like the gap between the invention of the camera and the invention of photoshop has an abnormally large number of well known alleged miracles
our lady of knock
fatima (whatever u think about, seems like one of the most largely seen miraculous things ever)
the bulk of UFO phenomena
the bulk of bigfoot sightings + other cryptids
lots of weird fairy stuff (some fake, like those fake fairy photos)
