Last day: Pfizer clinic at Ernest T. Ford Field House/Highland Park Recreation Center is open to *ALL* Michigan residents 16+ from 9a to 3p, with WALK-INS from 1-3.

ACCESS has another walk-in Pfizer clinic today from 9:30 to 4 p.m. in Sterling Heights -- Michigan residents 16+ can go. This was VERY busy on Monday. But they still gave out 800+ doses. Just know, it'll be busy.
MADISON HEIGHTS: The Pharmacy Shop is offering Moderna and J&J walk-in vaccines. 28411 Dequindre. No appointments. They are open 10-6.
WAYNE COUNTY: Western Wayne Family Health Centers has vaccines for 18+ by appointment: 313-561-5100.

No residency requirement. They have offices in Inkster, Taylor, Lincoln Park and Dearborn.
SOUTHFIELD: MyHealth Urgent Care has appointments for later this week -- these go fast: clockwisemd.com/hospitals/3651…
DETROIT: Residents and workers 16+ (Pfizer) or 18+ (J&J) can book vaccine appointments at TCF by drive-thru or walk-in, or at one of the eight neighborhood vaccine sites coming next week: Call 313-230-0505.

A THING TO DO: If you're on a vaccine waiting list or have an appointment somewhere and then end up getting a shot somewhere else -- TAKE YOURSELF OFF THE WAIT LIST and cancel your appointment so others can move up or take your spot.

Kroger hack, by the way. Unlike every other system, the Kroger system seems to do better with searching city names, not ZIP codes.

LET'S TALK ABOUT WALK-INS: Today, ACCESS doled out 800+ doses at their clinic in Sterling Heights.

BUT -- many had to wait a long time, were turned away, and decided it was a bad experience. So here are some suggested walk-in vaccine clinic experience and etiquette tips:
1) Don't line up at the door of a community vaccine clinic. It's very likely a smaller venue. The staff and volunteers need people to be orderly to have an effective flow of in and out. (ACCESS had 200 people at their door two hours before the clinic opened today)
2) Utilize the clinic hours and don't show up first thing if you don't have to. Try late morning, afternoon or evening, if possible.

If everyone shows up at the same exact time, swamping staff at the clinic, of course there's going to be a wait!
