a. Tidy your timeline and follow PIs in your field. Engage them!!
b. Make use of the search corner on twitter. Type PhD/postdoc in XXXX or just PhD positions and boom

2. Linkdin is another great platform to get jobs and real time MS/PhD/ postdoc adverts. I applied for several jobs on Linkdin and someone very close to me got a job via Linkdin
3. Normalize the use of google. With a CGPA of 3.0/4.8, no one can decide if you will get scholarship or not. The onus is on you to make a strong application, submit and with grace, nothing is impossible.
4. Sign up for virtual conferences and also join professional bodies (most are even for free). Google or Linkdin are the best platforms to get such. Some of them are on twitter as well.
5. Cold emailing a Professor in your field in advance might also do the magic since most funding decision will take another 6-12 months
