Was told schools can also conduct an unlimited number of these player evaluations during the specified dates, which is one reason why you’re seeing kids tweet out a bunch of visits they’re scheduling already way ahead of the dead period officially coming to a close.
Latest proposal is also for there to be 14 more off-campus days in the 2021 fall evaluation period, starting Sept 1. Expectation is that most of these proposals will pass without much of a fight.
On basketball: return to normal recruiting calendar on June 1, including off-campus and at events. Coaches will also get additional days the last week of July too.
Was also told various NCAA committees and the national office continue to work on modifying their NIL proposals though there’s a lot of moving parts with that.
