.@GovRonDeSantis repeatedly said there was no "exclusive" deal with Publix to distribute the vaccine in Palm Beach County. But, in January the county's health director (a state employee) said all future doses would go to Publix and not her office.
At governors direction. 1/3
It is true CVS and Walgreens were distributing doses to nursing homes back in January. But, that was a federal program. The governor was in charge of allocating the other shipments of doses heading to each individual county. 2/3
Distribution has obviously changed a lot since January. In fact, a few days after that meeting above, lawmakers made enough noise that the county health dept did end up getting some continued shipments of vaccine.
But, that was not the initial plan they laid out. 3/3

USPS is warning FL and most other states that they may be overburdened with mail ballots come November.
We mailed 99 mock #VoteByMail ballots from mailboxes across Palm Beach County to see how long they took to get to our mock Supervisor of Elections Office.
What we found:
We started with 100 (lost 1 before hitting the mail). Each was exact size and approximate weight of a mail ballot.
More than 90% of mock ballots we mailed returned to our mock Supervisor of Elections Office in 3 days or less.
Not a single mock ballot was lost in the mail.
There were some outliers— like mock ballots that were mailed from the same mailbox on the same day but came back days apart.
One came back 4 days after the mock ballots it was mailed alongside.
