Grace and Law
The law was the order of the day in the {OT} which is also called Legalism.
It all started in the time of Moses, the 10 commandments and so on
With all the laws, pronouncements and ordinances, people still keep failing God.

What is Grace?
Unmerited favour of God towards man or humanity. {John 3:16-17,Ephesians 2:8-9 }
Who is this Grace ? Answer: Jesus

Jesus is above the law, Jesus did so many things while on earth that are against the law. e.g: healing on Sabbath day, touching of lepers and so on.
How many people can keep the law wholly? Nobody that is why in the {OT} they have different offerings e.g: trespass offering, sin offering etc.
Jesus came and cancel all those offering and living by the book.
Now we don't live by the book, we live by the Holy Spirit and with the power of the Holy Spirit at work in your life, that is the only way to live above the law and please our Father in Heaven.

Note: I am by no means an hyper grace pseudo - believer, however I am a firm believer in the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and The Power of the Holy Spirit.
