Hidden cameras over a 10 year period, caught interesting characters in the act of selling serious arms, weapons systems, and manufactured meth for DPRK for money.
Could it all be true? One former UN official told the BBC he found it "highly credible".
The film, titled The Mole, is the work of Danish film maker Mads Brügger, who says he orchestrated a complex three-year sting operation to reveal how North Korea flouts international law.
The series follows Ulrich Larsen, called "the Mole", a former chef living on benefits who spends 10 years infiltrating the Korean Friendship Association (KFA)
KFA was founded in 2000 with the purpose of building international tiesDPRK. It has members from 120 countries. The KFA has full recognition from the DPRK. It has offices in DPR Korea, Spain
KFAUSA as part of the leading organization of DPRK friends and supporters, is deeply committed to promoting cultural exchange as well as diplomatic and economic cooperation between the DPRK and the United States.
Sanction busting isn't only happening inside these sympathetic groups NK has brokers around the world. Chan Han Choi was arrested in 2017 in AU, and just plead guilty to one count of contravening a UN sanction enforcement law and another of contravening a sanction law
Withdrawn charges included providing services for a weapons of mass destruction program.
The first count Mr Choi pleaded guilty to relates to brokering the sale of arms and tactical measurement units from North Korea and brokering the sale of petrol from Iran to North Korea.
NK’s continued success in growing and expanding its illicit arms trade is perhaps the starkest illustration of a trend that has long drawn the alarm of Korea experts
What is the likelihood that Erik Prince is involved somehow?
According to a 2019 UN report, NK has developed a sophisticated criminal network to continue selling arms through a diverse cast of proxies, front companies, and foreign middlemen. undocs.org/S/2019/171
In recent years, North Korea became a leading arms supplier to the Houthi movement in Yemen, as well as militant groups in Uganda and Sudan, mainly by funneling its merchandise through a Syrian company registered to arms trafficker Hussein al-Ali
Pyongyang has likewise succeeded
in cultivating valuable ties to the Libyan Defense Ministry resulting in an arms contract that the Dep Min of DPRK’s Ministry of Military Equip, described as necessary “for the required defence systems and ammunition needed to maintain stability of Libya.” piie.com/blogs/north-ko…

🚨"We’ve created a persuasion machine that allows conservatives to reach, engage and move people to action like never before. Now is the time to expand and capitalize on this machine, setting the political playing field in advance of the 2022 election.” washingtonpost.com/politics/repub…
Titled “Reclaiming the Public Narrative,” the solicitation argues that the left, because of its clout within cultural institutions, has more access to centrist voters while the right is stuck “within its own echo chamber.”
It says the group will collect personal data gathered from petitions and other online tools to target voters using “language consumed by those in the persuadable middle.”
DOJ investigation into #GaetzGate and Joel Greenberg is focusing on their involvement with multiple women who were recruited online for sex and received cash payments.
One of the women who had sex with both also agreed to have sex with an unidentified associate in FL GOP politics
The inquiry is also examining whether Gaetz had sex with 17 yo and whether she received anything of value. The sex trafficking count Greenberg involved the same girl
The authorities have also investigated whether other men connected to Gaetz and Greenberg had sex with the 17-year-old
Why does this matter? Because states have different ages to buy a pistol vs a long run
Two key components that help define what a rifle is, the barrel and the stock, have been altered by firearm manufacturers to circumvent existing gun laws
Easier to hide but use the same ammunition and magazines as their AR-15-style rifle counterparts. That ammunition travels much faster and with more energy compared with common pistol rounds like the 9mm and are known to create more serious wounds
WHY DO YOU NEED THIS?
National Firearms Act regs rifles w barrels shorter than 16" more because their potential concealment is a danger
Buying a short-barrel rifle requires a lengthy background check. But AR-15-style pistols aren’t defined as short-barrel rifles
But he couldn’t delete his coworkers’ memories of the time he showed up at work LARPing as a Nazi. Ditto for his habit of asking all new hires if they were Jewish.
33 of his coworkers told the FBI under oath that he was a virulently anti-semitic white supremacist who promised to leave his job “in a blaze of glory.” And while it’s not illegal to be a bigot, it probably won’t help bolster the claim that fomenting a race war and overthrowing
the federal government was the farthest thing from Hale-Cusinelli’s mind as he directed a stream of protestors around the Capitol.

Again AZ: Eliminating mail return altogether for absentee
What about the military? What if you work overseas? what exactly do they think absentee voting is for?
A bill passed in the Georgia state Senate this week, for instance, would prevent 5 million of Georgia’s 7.7 million registered voters who can currently cast absentee ballots from doing so, even by the GOP’s own math.
