It's a sad realisation that most of non bjp politicians in the country are an uninspiring lot !
Many, esp in the media, keep bemoaning the lack of a strong opposition and somehow blame bjp for winning everything in sight and "not leaving space for the opposition".1/n
It's true that in a robust democratic system, it's imperative to have a good, strong opposition to ensure that the ruling dispensation stays on its toes.
But where are the candidates for that space in India? I can't think of one amongst the present lot who stands muster 2/n
Let's examine the chief available options : 1) We begin with the so called "main pan India opposition party". Their de facto chief is a man-child who can't deliver one coherent speech without providing joke material to memers. They secretly consort with enemies of India even 3/n
When the nation is at war. They are incompetent at providing governance and development as is evident from the state of every sector despite 5+ decades of their rule. They have no long term vision to develop the nation. Everything they do is guided by the twin short sighted 4/n
Objectives of a)winning the next election b) enriching themselves and their party. And now since they are out of power for 6+ yrs, they have taken to bad mouthing India and its institutions at every available foreign platform. 2) Starting with the major regional parties 5/n
J& K has these two v corrupt, dynastic outfits who don't hesitate in playing footsie with terrorists &separatists. 3) SP -charged with corruption, abetment of criminal activity& communal appeasement politics.
4)BSP with massive charges of corruption, poor governance, divisive 6/n
5)Lalu Prasad's RJD. Corruption, no development, jungle raj, divisive. 6) TMC.Temperamental, unstable leader.Corruption at every level. Poor development. Bad law& order. Communal appeasement. 7) Communists : Violence. Obsolete ideology. No development. 7/n
8)JMM : Inefficient governance, corruption. 9) NCP and Shiva Sena. No need to mention in detail as their misdeeds are all over the news at present.
10)DMK and other Dravidian groups. Ideological bankruptcy masquerading as 8/n
Anti north India, anti Brahmin, anti Hindus, anti xyz..., corruption, some outfits even displaying separatist tendencies. Governance better than some other regional outfits. 11) TDP : a sad story as CBN is a v able administrator. But well... 12) TRS, BJD : better than many 9/n
Others. 13) YRSCP : encouraging proselytisers 14) JDS : Do I need to say anything ?
There are many such others but the point is, which one amongst all these is capable of providing a credible, honest and robust opposition in the new, arising, aspirational India ? 10/n
Rather than being of help, many of these opposition parties have on the contrary, been a hindrance as India seeks to unshackle itself from the past and arise to its full potential on the world stage.
So I'm not shedding a tear if this present lot indeed gets marginalized. 11/n
I hope with time, we will see the rise of a new kind of opposition. One which is genuinely and honestly invested in Bharat and its growth story.
In such a scenario, all patriotic Indians can rest easy.A change of regime then will not mean derailment of Bharat's progress. 12/12.

I notice a lot of folk on the non left, dharmik side criticising #Yati_Narsinghanand_Saraswati ji for his utterances. Some of what he says may sound shocking and one may or may not agree with all he says.
However "cancelling" him& others like him isn't the correct approach. 1/10
Sanatan dharma is under attack on multiple fronts. And EVERY dharmik soul is needed for the fight back.
In whatever capacity they have and with whatever ability they bring to the table.
We need intellectual heft to counter the anti Hindu Libbie mafia in their own coin with,

counter-arguments and discrediting their motivated and flawed logic.
At the same time we also need people with feet on the ground like those who are doing ground work like ghar wapasi, gau seva, building and renovating temples and so forth.
