McGill University students on a large Facebook group advocating for other students that broke the Quebec government Public Health decree to be doxxed, lose future employment opportunities, among other things.
Students at McGill University are making "lists" of people who are breaking the Quebec government Public Health decree and asking for people to send them more names to add.
Some students at McGill University are calling for students who are breaking the Quebec government Public Health decree to be blacklisted from all future university events.
One student writes: "ok hear me out what if we blacklist them from all McGill events".
McGill University students in the Facebook group have publicly named individuals who attended the park gatherings.
An individual from the McGill student FB group has emailed me stating that the group is “private” & a “meme page”.
The page is most definitely not a “meme page” & they are engaging in intimidation & bullying of fellow McGill students. The group uses “McGill University” in name.
Additionally, the individual said that nothing should be taken “seriously” on the page.
Students have posted people’s first and last names and screenshots of “lists” that they are compiling.
This is serious, and @mcgillu should treat it as such.
The McGill Univeristy students have since deleted the Facebook group likely in fear that they broke @mcgillu's rules against harassment and bullying.
If you have been personally targeted by this group of McGill University students, contact me. My DM's are open.
