#NamjinAU where the quarantine doesn't seem to be ending and the Kim Family isn't coping so well. Anymore.

They had found their rhythm, or so Seokjin thought. He would wake up first, ruing the day he decided to opt for a career in business. Then he'd go over and wake up his kid, who rued the day she got old enough to be enrolled in kindergarten. They'd wash their faces and get
breakfast together. Then Seokjin would set her virtual classroom for her on the ipad and finally give his husband a shout to wake him before heading off to his first meeting of the day. Namjoon took it over from there. Kept an eye on Moonie as she went about her classes, made
lunch. Seokjin had been right to think they had found their rhythm, even in the extraordinary circumstances the world was in.

The illusion was busted one day when Seokjin wandered out of his study around 3pm, just wanting to stretch his legs. The living room was empty but
voices reached him from the upper floor of the duplex. In his bedroom, a peculiar sight awaited him. Namjoon dressed up in one of Seokjin's pink shirts, with gym shorts and a beach hat. Moonie was losing her mind laughing as Seokjin's husband cat walked for her. Okay?
Seokjin discreetly snapped a photographed before announcing himself. The pair turned to him, Namjoon's cheeks coloring instantly. Moonie shrieked in excitement. "Papa look Dad's a model" Namjoon chuckled sheepishly when Seokjin arched an eyebrow at him. "We got bored" He shrugged
That was when Seokjin realized what was up. These two got bored 𝑎 𝑙𝑜𝑡. Seokjin had been a homebody ever since he was a kid. This pandemic suited him just fine. If anything, he was glad he could turn his video off when he wanted to make faces at people in video calls,
something he couldn't do in person. But his nature bees, as he called his other two family members, were distraught. They loved the outdoors. Loved hiking, loved tending to their garden, going to the park. None of this was possible until they got the vaccine. Not with Moonie
being high risk due to her being born premature. The nature bees were bored.

The boredom reached alarming heights when package after package began to arrive at their place. Seokjin got alerted when their bell went off multiple times a day. He ventured out to find the nature bees
unboxing a whole consignment of plants they had received. By day end, they had turned the living room into a jungle. That was fine. They were the ones who had to tend to the plans anyway. That held them over for a few weeks.

Only a few weeks though, because soon enough the bell
was going off multiple times a day again. The loft was running out of space. One trip to Moonie's room had Seokjin gaping at the amount of new toys and thingamajigs she had now that Seokjin didn't remember getting her. What kids needs a 105 color paint set? What use does a 4 year
old have of 105 paints?! Seokjin waited until it was nap time to Saturday to call Namjoon into their kid's room and ask him what on earth was going on. "Umm she likes to paint these days" Namjoon shrugged at the paints.
"Ok why does she have 5 different types of caterpillar
plushies?" Namjoon folded his arms.
"She asked for them. They were cheap" Seokjin was so confused.
"Are you going to get her everything she asks for? Everything here couldn't have been cheap" Namjoon was not moved.
"We can afford it." Seokjin was getting exasperated now.
"Even if we can, it's not good parenting. She needs to hear no once in a while to know how to cope with it" Seokjin knew that was the wrong thing to say as soon as Namjoon's eyes narrowed at him.
"I tell her no ALL THE TIME. No baby we can't go outside. No we can't go see grandma
No you can't go to school. She asked to go grocery shopping yesterday! So when the poor kid is going to ask for a fucking stuffed caterpillar, that's one thing I can say yes to. So I will" With that Namjoon stormed off, leaving a dumbstruck Seokjin in Moonie's room. (Later he
would apologize for yelling, handing Seokjin a new sweatshirt he had gotten for him. Online)

So Seokjin stayed out of the father-daughter spending spree, and decided to simply enjoy the excitement with which his daughter showed her the art she made with the 105 paints.
One afternoon Seokjin walks into the living room midday to find a fort set up in the living room. It was a whole tent, courtesy of Ali Express, he imagined. Intrigued, he peeked in and couldn't help but gasp. The roof of the tent was illuminated with scenes from a rainforest.
Seokjin spied a mini digital projector in the corner and peeked back out to find it hooked to Namjoon's laptop that was playing a livestream from the Amazon. Whoa.
"Papa look it's the jungle" Moonie exclaimed when she saw him. She was sitting up staring at the projection.
Namjoon was lying down beside her, arm under his head, smiling. Seokjin made a split second decision. He kissed Moonie on her head and sat on his knees. He shot out a quick 'not feeling well, taking rest of day off' to all his colleagues and shut his phone off. They could cope
one day without him. Then he slithered in between his husband and kid, laying down. Namjoon looped an arm around him and they heard Moonie go on and on about the jungle. Namjoon pointed birds and plants out to her. The tent kept her occupied until nap time when she curled down on
the cushions Namjoon had set around the tent and dozed off. Seokjin didn't move, running his fingers in her hair.
"This is how she'll remember everything" He couldn't help but think out loud. "That Papa was always in meetings while Dad was with her...making magic happen"
Namjoon hmmed.
"She'll also remember how Papa got her ready for school everyday. How he always cooked her favorite dinner. Always let her cuddle up in his lap even as he took meetings." A kiss to his temple. "Why are you assuming she'll remember all the bad parts?" He yawned and
Seokjin turned around to tease him.
"Aww baby, is it nap time for you too?" Namjoon made a face.
"Shush. Go to sleep" He pulled Seokjin closer to himself and hugged him tight. The sheer warmth if him made Seokjin sleepy. He fell asleep with a smile on his face. They were going to
be alright.

Longtime hashtag goals #Namjin are finally getting married. Everyone's invited and everyone has RSVPed yes. What they weren't supposed to do was bring their histories and baggage as plus ones. But hey they're all here at a resort for a week after years. What could go wrong? Image
I've been feeling very slumpy lately so thought why not do something fun just for twitter? Anyone up for it? 👀
OK so I shall ignore the 12.5% who didn't want this xD Let's get it! #namjinau #btsau

It was good to be back home. The city where he was born in. Where he belonged. He had been back a week already. Had seen his parents, met up with his family. Yet Ken could not say he had achieved his purpose for returning. The text he had sent on the first day of his return.
Remained unanswered. A week was enough time. He poured himself a drink. A strong drink. And he dialled the number. It rang a couple of times before it was received. Ken's heart dropped into his stomach when he heard the voice. The deep, throaty voice. Always demanding to be heard
