Longtime hashtag goals #Namjin are finally getting married. Everyone's invited and everyone has RSVPed yes. What they weren't supposed to do was bring their histories and baggage as plus ones. But hey they're all here at a resort for a week after years. What could go wrong? Image
I've been feeling very slumpy lately so thought why not do something fun just for twitter? Anyone up for it? 👀
OK so I shall ignore the 12.5% who didn't want this xD Let's get it! #namjinau #btsau
"Special occasion?" The can driver spoke to him, glancing at his face from the rear view mirror. Jungkook had rolled the windows down, letting the icy mountain wind into the cab. The driver didn't appreciate this, if his shivering was anything to go by but didn't object. It was a
special occasion. The special-est. Otherwise Jungkook wouldn't be here. Nothing except this could have dragged him across the country to a snowy ski resort in December, to stay for a week, and see the people he was due to be seeing after years.
"Yeah it is my brother's wedding"
Jungkook had no clue why the wedding was being held at Yongpyong. Jin Hyung hated the cold. His husband to be got cold easily and wore three layers in Seoul. But Jungkook had not been in on the wedding planning. He'd not been in on anything, since he hadn't been in Korea.
He'd gotten the videocall at the ass crack of dawn in his New York apartment. Jungkook smiled to himself as he recalled it. He'd swiped to answer, bleary eyed and drool-mouthed, assuming that his brother had forgotten about the time difference. Again.
"JUNGOO-AH. JUNGOO-AH!!!!"
That had alarmed him. He'd sat up straighter, flicked his lights on, thinking his brother was having an aneurysm and had decided to make Jungkook witness it. On the contrary he came face to face with a beaming Jin Hyung. "I got engaged Jungoo-ah. Look!" He'd waved his hand in
front of the camera, something sparkling on his finger. Jungkook had choked on his spit. And then teared up as soon as he saw his brother was crying. They'd cried their fill, and then Jin Hyung had told him all about the romantic hill side proposal, complete with a song written
just for him. That had been 8 months ago. Jungkook had gotten the invitation and another call from Jin Hyung.
"You'll come right Jungoo-ah? You have to come, you know you're the only-"
"Of course I'll come hyung. Wouldn't miss it for the Oscars" And come he had. He was here.
Jungkook paid the cab and went in. He told the receptionist in the lobby he was there for the 'Kim Wedding' and immediately he was given a keycard and his luggage was taken from him. Huh. Fancy. The receptionist was just checking his name off from her guest list when he heard it.
"Kookie!" Walking to him from the elevator bank was Namjoonie Hyung. Jungkook's heart skipped a beat as he saw the familiar dimpled, warm smile directed his way. It had been 2 years since he'd seen this smile in person. Namjoonie Hyung looked... the same. And yet somehow he also
looked older. He was obviously still tall, but while last time he had been tall and lean now he was tall and ripped?? Jungkook vaguely remembered Jin Hyung saying something about a gym obsession triggered by a writer's block that didn't go away when the block did.
As if the man had needed more things making him desirable. He'd dyed his hair grey, which Jungkook had expected. It was a cycle. Namjoonie Hyung would dye his hair grey. Then Jin Hyung would say he missed his dark hair so he'd dye it brown and then immediately hate it.
He'd give it 2 weeks at most and then dye it some obnoxious shade of blue, pink or purple only he could pull off. Then back to grey and repeat. Jungkook had a front row seat to all this and more nonsense before he'd gone to the States. Seemed like nothing much had changed.
"I got the call from the cab service that they'd picked you up" Namjoonie Hyung got up to him and with no warning engulfed him in a bear hug. Jungkook sighed and let himself be waddled side to side, grinning like an idiot. He had missed this. Missed his family, no matter how much
he tried to deny it. Namjoonie Hyung let him go, warm smile still present on his lips.
"It's so good to see you kid"
"Good to see you too hyung. Congratulations. Everything looks organized" Namjoonie Hyung looked around the lobby and sighed.
"Yeah it's going well so far.
But there's a week ahead of us. Watch it implode" He sighed. Jungkook was kind of taken aback by the certainty in the words but his brother in law shook himself out of his misery and smiled again. "Anyway, you must be tired. Go rest up. Jinnie is out, he had a suit fitting.
See you at dinner?" Jungkook nodded and received the hair ruffle he got with barely concealed glee. He was a long way from home, in more ways than one. But it already felt like he'd finally made his way home.
💍💍💍
"Get up brat!" It felt like he had just fallen asleep. And already someone had thrown a pillow at his face. Jungkook groaned, turning his face to look at his assailant. Standing by the bed was the one person for whom Jungkook could be
convinced to do just about anything. Jungkook sat up just in time for Jin Hyung to launch himself at him in a bone crushing hug. Letting all else go, Jungkook hugged him back just as tightly, face burying into his brother's sweater. They stayed like that for a bit before
Jin Hyung disentangled. Only then did Jungkook realize he'd been crying. "Aish Jungoo-ah, save these for the wedding" Jin Hyung wiped his face and squeezed him again.
"Who let you into my room?" Jungkook grumbled, blushing furiously. He'd just gotten up okay, he was sensitive
when woken from a good sleep. Jin Hyung got off the bed and wandered into the wardrobe.
"Our room. I booked us both in the same room. Did you honestly think we booked you this huge suite for yourself?" Jungkook had honestly not paid the room much attention, otherwise
he'd have seen how much of Jin Hyung's stuff was already here. He'd seen the bed, and had collapsed.
"Isn't this bed kinda small for you, me and Joonie Hyung?" His brother walked out of the wardrobe with a blazer and trousers combo in his hand. Jungkook glanced at the clock to
see that it was already 7. It was time for dinner.
"Joonie isn't staying here. Because he's an idiot" Jin Hyung sighed, walking to the ensuite bathroom. "A romantic idiot. He had this idea, to make the wedding night seem special, for us to stay in separate rooms. Otherwise it
just would've felt the same as the past two years. He's not wrong when you think about it" The tap had turned out, meaning Jin was washing his face. 2 years. They'd been living together for 2 years, dating for 5. That was a long time, to be with another person. And like it enough
to make promises for a lifetime. Jungkook shivered. "If you want to shower Jungoo-ah, get in here, there's no time" Right. No time to be pondering these stupid questions. He was here to celebrate his brother. Nothing else. Watch his hyungs get married, dance, cry and leave.
He could do it.

OK KIDS LEZZ UPDATE #Namjin #namjinau
💍💍💍
Eight PM saw Jungkook and Jin Hyung in the very lobby he had taken the elevator up from, all those hours ago. It was a miracle that Jungkook's limbs had moved fast enough for this. And by miracle it was Jin Hyung's constant pestering
They walked over to the dining hall, and clocked the weird sight at the same time. Jungkook looked to his brother in confusion but Jin hyung had that look on his face. The look Jungkook knew all too well. He pressed a finger to his lips and Jungkook just followed. They could be
adults some other day. They stealthily tip toed to stand behind their unsuspecting victim. Jin Hyung held three fingers up and counted down. The final finger went down and Jungkook screamed at the top of his lungs, Jin hyung doing the same. The yelp Namjoonie Hyung let out was
glorious to say the least. He whipped around, getting tangled in the large fern he was hiding behind. The entire lobby was staring at them and Jungkook hadn't laughed this hard in a long time. Jin Hyung helped his future husband up, picking leaves out of his hair.
"You can just say you don't wanna marry me babe, there's no need to give me heart failure" Jin Hyung giggled, planting a kiss to Namjoon Hyung's cheek.
"Sorry but you were like, right there. Good job trying to hide yourself by the way" Namjoon scoffed, but he was blushing.
Namjoon Hyung hiding was an impossible concept. For one, he was extremely tall. For another, he was very loud and jumpy. And constantly walked into or toppled things over. So no, stealth was not his cup of tea. Jungkook looked around to see who he could have been hiding from but
no clues were forthcoming.
"I wasn't hiding, I was mentally preparing myself" Jin nodded in mock understanding, eyes alight in mirth. Kids. His Hyungs acted like kids all the time, and all the 5 years of being together hadn't done anything to change that.
"You look ready to me.
Come on" Jin held Namjoon by his arm and togther, they strode into the dining hall.

Jungkook had not yet thought to ask who they were here to actually have dinner with. He had just opened his mouth to voice this very question when an ear piercing squeal deafened him.
"AH THERE HE IS! MY FAVORITE CHILD" Namjoon disentangled himself and stepped aside just in time for a short woman to barrel into Jin and hug him. His brother was laughing and hugging the woman back. Namjoon Hyung looked like he was trying everything in his power to not bolt.
The woman finally let Jin Hyung go.
"Ah Namjoon-ah" She turned to him and Namjoon Hyung bent down to hug her.
"Hey Eomma. Glad to see you made it" He let go the second he could, stepping away.
"Of course I made it. My babies are getting married. This is the best thing to happen
to me. Ever since you introduced this gem to me" She pinched Jin Hyung's face and he blushed from his ears in, instantly. Namjoon groaned, a hand over his eyes. It was only then did Mrs. Kim notice Jungkook.
"Jungkook-ah! Oh my God. How are you baby?" Jungkook then received his
share of choking hugs and cheek pinches. Namjoon hyung had already taken his place at the table and was calling a waiter. After a hoard of 'you've gotten so big' and 'I remember when you were 18's Mrs. Kim released him, and they all sat down too. Namjoon Hyung already had a
whiskey in his hand and was poring over the menu. Mrs. Kim's place also had a wine glass that she'd apparently been nursing. Alcoholism ran in the family it seemed. Jungkook would have been worried except him and Jin Hyung were both champion drunks. It wouldn't be a surprise if
their drinks bill outweighed their food one.

"This all seems so lovely. I am so sorry I wasn't in Korea to help you guys out. But the Japan trip had been planned way before this guy sprung an engagement on us all" Mrs. Kim smiled widely at him and Jin Hyung. He had a sneaky
suspicion Namjoon had picked the seat to her left just to not be directly in her line of sight. Jungkook remembered Mrs. Kim just fine. She was... a lot. But always very sweet and super smart.
"It is all so lovely, because you weren't here to help" Namjoon Hyung called the
waiter again. Jungkook did not miss the swat to his thigh under the table Jin Hyung gave. They gave their orders quickly and the waiter retreated.
"Oh please. Don't pretend you had anything to do with this. Tell me Jin, has he been completely useless?" Namjoon Hyung opened his
mouth to bite back but Jin was faster. "No actually he has been great. Was onboard for every whim and fancy I had. Not useless at all" If Jin had planned this, to cool the atmosphere around them, it worked. Namjoon Hyung's face was back to his standard smitten, warm self. He
smiled at Jin. Their hands linked under the table. Jungkook really should keep his eyes above the table before they noticed. Mrs. Kim also calmed down, a starry look on her face as she clasped both her hands together.
"I can not tell you how glad I am you found this gem Namjoon-ah. Honestly he's the only reason I don't worry about you" All of Jin Hyung's hard work went down the drain as Namjoon turned to frown at his mother.
"You've never particularly worried about me, ever" Mrs. Kim gave him
a cold stare over her wine glass.
"You know why Seokjin here is my favorite?" She smacked her lips, chin up in the air. How long had she been drinking here alone before they came down?
"Because he goes shopping with you?"
"Hey!" Jin Hyung exclaimed and it was a true testament to
just how petty a mood Namjoon was in, that he didn't immediately apologize. Their hands came unclasped as Jin Hyung crossed his arms. There went an allyship between the soon-to-be-weds.
"Because he doesn't constantly feel the need to bring up my past mistakes" Namjoon narrowed
his eyes. Jungkook had not said a word since he'd sat down. But this was entertainment the kind you didn't find in NYC. So he sipped his pint of beer and looked on.
"Knocking things over is a mistake"
"Not if the thing is right where it has been for 6 months" Jin Hyung stage
whispered. Namjoon ignored him.
"Giving your children a lifetime's worth of trauma is not a mistake." He finished. Mrs. Kim waved him off which Jungkook found admirable. The whiskey glass in Namjoon's hand was very close to shattering with his grip now.
"You can call your
father and blame him for the trauma. He's the one who cheated on me"
"And your response was to cheat back?! Not to divorce him or confront him. Nope you just went and followed his lead" They were rescued by the arrival of their food. Jungkook's stomach grumbled pitifully.
He'd thrown shame to the wind and ordered a whole buffet for himself. The waiters were realizing why the 4 of them were sitting at a table for 6 as they placed entre after entre down.
"What I don't understand is" Mrs. Kim spoke through her salad. She'd ordered nothing but salad
and fish. Oh she'd gone pescatarian ever since her trip to LA, Jungkook recalled. "Why should men have all the fun huh? He didn't give 2 shits about the marriage and frolicked. So I frolicked too" Jin Hyung had given up it seemed as he dug into his steak. Even for Jungkook it
wasn't the first time. His parents were one of the few people Namjoon Hyung did NOT get along with.
"Yes, you both frolicked equally. Truly a win for gender equality. It was my honor to act as collateral for the cause" Namjoon Hyung angry stabbed his portion of steak and
stuffed his face. Their drinks were being re-filled automatically, which was awesome and disastrous in equal measures.
"When is he coming by the way?" Namjoon shrugged, as he swallowed.
"I don't know if he is" There was an edge to his voice, even if he quickly took another bite.
That drew Jin Hyung away from his half eaten steak. He looked at his fiancé, and then rested a hand on his neck. Even Mrs. Kim lost some of her fight, as she cleared her throat.
"I'm sure he'll turn up" Namjoon Hyung shook his head.
"Doesn't matter. No one needs him."
He cleared his throat, toying with the side of mashed potatoes on his plate. "But thank you. For coming. Means a lot" Mrs. Kim smiled, her big easy smile that looked exactly her son's. She even leaned into pinch his cheek.
"Of course baby. Where else would I be. Now fill me in
Jin. How on earth did you guys pull this off with your schedules?!"
💍💍💍
That's it for tonight kids! Let me know how we're liking this please! <3

Hello I am back :')
#namjin #namjinau
Jungkook ended up switching seats with Jin Hyung, so that he could easily talk to Mrs. Kim.
"So Kookie, how has New York been treating you?" Namjoon Hyung asked me, his trademark smile back on his face now that his mom wasn't paying him any attention. Jungkook launched into
details about his latest project, working as assistant director on an indie movie by a big hollywood director.
"They only took me on because the story has lots of asian characters that they nothing about, but I'm not complaining" Jungkook realized he was blabbering a bit but
that wasn't anything new. He always got a little tongue tied around his soon to be brother in law. Jungkook had always found Namjoon endlessly cool. He was a music producer, tall as anything, thighs for days. But said Mr. Cool was shaking his head and clicking his tongue.
"Don't sell yourself short, you're very talented kid" Well now Jungkook was just blushing but he went on. Namjoon was listening to him with his utmost attention. Nodding appreciatively and commenting where something occurred to him. Jungkook felt kind of guilty, for never calling
him from the States. He spoke to Jin Hyung because he called Jungkook once a month to make sure he was alive and drinking water. And if Namjoon was around, he'd pop in with a smile and a 'how are you kid'. Jungkook could have called to tell him about how well he was doing as a
director up there. Especially since without Namjoon, Jungkook couldn't have ever gone to the US. For one he couldn't have left his brother all alone. And for another, he was the one who convinced Jin Hyung to actually let him go. Jungkook had been there, at Jin's place. They'd
had another argument with Jin Hyung telling him he couldn't go and then Namjoon Hyung had come over. You have to let him go Jinnie, he'd said. He'll always be our little one, but he's 21 years old now. Let him find his way, he'll be fine. And Namjoon Hyung was the only person Jin
Hyung ever listened to.

They'd polished their dinner off and were contemplating dessert when Mrs. Kim excused herself.
"I can't be having any more calories tonight. You kids carry on" With another pinch to Jungkook's cheek she sauntered off, pulling her knitted wrap around her.
"Jesus" Namjoon Hyung groaned, making Jin Hyung chuckle and get up to sit beside him.
"Come on, let's get you some ice cream baby" He called for a waiter. Dessert was just an elaborate make-Jungkook-miss-home-even-though-he-was-now-home saga. Nothing had changed as Jin Hyung
cracked a god awful joke on something he said and Namjoon Hyung tried to not laugh but ended up choking on his ice cream anyway.
"Ahhh, I am like, so happy right now" Jin Hyung sighed, setting his cheek on Namjoon's shoulder. They were many, many drinks and ice cream scoops in.
Everyone was now yawning, so they decided to call it a night. There were few people in the lobby, seeing as it was almost 1 am. The elevator they got into was also empty. And Jungkook was apparently invisible because as soon as the lift door slid closed, Jin Hyung leaned into his
boyfriend, arms around his neck. "You've had a stressful evening. Are you sure you don't want to skip your dumb rule for one night? I could help you destress?" Namjoon Hyung raised an eyebrow and nudged his nose against Seokjin's. Did they forget Jungkook was there?!
"Nice try. But my dumb rule is clearly working. You miss me" Jin Hyung sighed, giving up easily.
"Yeah. 6 more days" The heavens took mercy on Jungkook's innocence then as the elevator dinged. Namjoon Hyng was on the same floor, at the start. They bid him goodbye at his door.
"Can you call and check I'm up at 7 please?" He said to Jin Hyung as he stepped in. He got a scoff in return.
"Yeah yeah. This is favoritism you know" Namjoon hyung smiled and leaned his head out to peck Seokjin's lips.
"I know. Night"
Jungkook had full own washed himself before dinner so he was changed and in bed quickly. He quickly checked his phone, replying to important things and then watched Jin Hyung get ready for bed at a leisurely pace. Jungkook was the opposite of cheesy but his brother was positively
glowing. He was humming under his breath as he applied his night time products, lips set in a small smile. When he finally slipped into bed, Jungkook wasted no time in wrapping arms around his middle and burrowing into him. That made Jin Hyung giggle.
"Someone missed hyung huh?"
Jungkook scoffed, but hugged him tighter.
"I did" He mumbled. Jin Hyung smelled like he always did. A mix of strawberries and soap. He smelled like home, and Jungkook had been away for a long time.
"I missed you too brat" Jin let him hold onto himself as he too checked his phone.
"Do you miss them?" Jungkook asked, quietly. He saw Jin Hyung's fingers still in their scrolling.
"Not as much I thought I would" That made sense. Jungkook could relate to that. As much as he'd thought he'd never start missing them any less, he did. It had been confusing, but it
happened.
"They would have been so proud" Jungkook looked up and his brother smiled down at him.
"Yeah. They would've liked Joonie right?"
"They would've loved him Hyung" Their parents had never gotten to meet Namjoon Hyung. Him and Jin Hyung had been dating for barely 6 months
when the accident happened. He'd been there at the funeral. And he'd been there every day after that. Jungkook still remembered it. He had moved in with Jin Hyung, unable to deal with living alone at the time. Jin Hyung held him together, soothed him when he bawled, fed him,
took care of him. Jungkook wished he could say he did the same for him, but he was far too shocked by how quickly their world fell apart to do any of that. Which made it all the more important that Namjoon Hyung had been there. Jungkook thought of that night he had stayed over.
He'd overheard them completely by accident. He'd been about to walk into the kitchen to get water in the middle of the night when he'd heard it.
"You don't have to keep doing this Joonie. You didn't sign up for this, I won't blame you... if you left" Jin Hyung had been crying.
He hadn't cried since the funeral. Not in front of Jungkook anyway.
"You want me to leave? Is this too much right now?" He still remembered the warm timbre of Namjoon Hyung's voice that night.
"I'm not about to start feeling better any time soon. I don't want to make you
miserable too" There were a few sniffs before anyone spoke again.
"I didn't expect you to. No one expects you to keep it together Seokjin, your parents have died" A sob. "There's no pressure to feel better okay? You can be sad for as long as you want. I'll be here." A pause
before Namjoon spoke again. "But if you want to take a step back from us, I understand. I'll still be here for you. I'll wait" Another sniff.
"I don't want to take a step back. I want to take like 2 steps forward. You're the only thing that makes me feel even a little bit better
these days. It's not fair, to put that on you"
"Don't worry about me. I can handle it. Take as many steps forward as you want to. I love you Jinnie" There had been more tears after that and Jungkook had gone back to his room without water. And now here they were, at a resort in
the mountains and Jin Hyung couldn't stop smiling. Jungkook sent a prayer to the heavens, thanking them for giving his brother the happy ending he deserved. Jin Hyung was still scrolling his phone and muttering to himself.
"OK, 2 flights coming in tomorrow. The college gang near
lunch and before that at 8. But Joonie will go to the 8 one so that's no issue. Will have to do lunch with the gang then"
"Who's coming in at 8 that Hyung is going to pick himself?" Jungkook remembered the favoritism quip from earlier.
"Hmm? Oh Taehyung's coming tomorrow".
Taehyung. Taehyung was coming. Well shit.
💍💍💍
That's it for tonight!
curiouscat.qa/Namjiintae
It is time. For an update :')
#namjin #namjinau
As much as Jungkook would have liked to claim that the anxiety of seeing Taehyung again after years kept him up all night, he actually slept very well. He'd looked deep within himself and found his sense of denial and channeled it to to fall into a dead sleep. His corpse was
roused next morning by a pillow hitting him smack in his face.
"Did you come here to sleep?" Jin Hyung bellowed at him. Jungkook flung the pillow back and the 'ow' he heard confirmed that he had aimed well.
"Stop attacking me" Jin Hyung, the heartless monster, pulled his heavenly
comforter off him.
"Then get up. We have to go get breakfast" Jungkook sat up, dizzy and disoriented.
"With whom?" His phone told him it was 10 am. Fucking hell.
"Joonie and Tae. He's here. They've already ordered it to their room. Get. Up!"
That sobered Jungkook up as dread filled him. Jin Hyung was already all dressed up for the day, standing there with a hand on his hip.
"Fine. Don't leave without me" Jin arched an eyebrow at him.
"You know where the room is though?" Jungkook got off the bed. He had absolutely no
intention of walking into that room all by himself, being the center of attention. He was fully prepared to be as far from the center as he could go.
"Please Hyung" He pleaded. Jin Hyung sighed, but moved to sit on the bed.
"Be quick then"

Jungkook showered quickly, as much as
he wanted to take his usual one hour and dwell on this predicament he was in. When he stepped out, Jin Hyung was on his phone but stood up immediately. Jin Hyung pulled out a key card from his pocket when they got to Namjoon's room. Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him.
"For emergencies" He beeped the card and stepped inside. This room was the same size as theirs but as it was on the opposite side of the resort, it had a view of the ski line. The wall length windows gave them a bird's eye vantage point to watch the skiers zoom down the mountain,
even this early in the morning. There were chairs and duvets arranged facing the window, around a table on which an elaborate breakfast was already laid. A dark haired person was sitting on the arm chair, feet propped up on the foot rest. He turned around when he heard the door.
Taehyung looked like Taehyung, but bass boosted. That was the first thought that hit Jungkook's lizard brain as he watched the man's features break into a dazzling box smile when his eyes fell on Jin. Jungkook stood rooted to the spot as Tae bounded out of his seat and Jin pulled
him into a crushing hug. "About time you turned about" Jin Hyung said stepping back. He was grinning just as much as Tae.
"Sorry Hyung, the exhibition extended for a week and I had to be there, to pick the unsold pieces" Jungkook knew Tae's photography had really taken off in
the time he had been gone. He'd heard about 'Taehyungie going places' from Jin Hyung on their catchup calls often enough. And he wasn't above a little instagram stalking once in a blue moon.
"I know Joonie told. I'm just teasing" Jin Hyung ruffled his hair and moved towards the
breakfast. Taehyung finally let his gaze fall on Jungkook. Had he been avoiding looking at him? Jungkook couldn't blame him.
"Hi Kook" Tae smiled at him, but it was close lipped and polite. Completely unlike the one he'd given Jin Hyung.
"Hey" Jungkook managed. That was
apparently all he had to say, as Tae moved and retook his seat. Jungkook went to sit at a different chair. Time to eat your feelings. He went for the pancakes first, piling them high and dousing them with syrup.
"Where is your annoying brother?" Jin Hyung asked Tae over a mouth full of cereal. Tae, who seemed like he had already eaten his fill and was now nursing a mug of hot chocolate, rolled his eyes.
"Showering. He went to the gym after picking me can you imagine?" Jin Hyung chuckled.
"I can"
"When is this gym obsession ending? It's been a year" He scoffed. Jungkook remembered the way his cheeks puffed out making his face less angular and rounder. He'd gotten immeasurably more handsome in the years passed. His hair was black and permed, and it suited him.
He was wearing a printed shirt that Jungkook was sure was Gucci. Top few buttons undone, showing his collar bones off. There was an expensive looking leather strapped watch on his wrist. Going places alright.
"I don't know. I'm just thankful he isn't dragging me with him"
"Yet"
"I'll divorce him when he does" Jin Hyung shrugged happily and as if on cue, the bathroom door opened. Namjoon Hyung stepped out, towel around his waist. What unfair genes was this family gifted with? Jungkook fumed as his eyes latched onto the toned back of his brother's
fiancé.
"You're drooling Kook" Tae's deep voice snapped him back. He felt his cheeks heating up when he saw the teasing smirk on his face. To his right, Jin Hyung shook with laughter, trying not to choke on his mouthful.
"You're lucky" He shot at his brother who finally managed
to down his cereal with some cocoa from Tae's mug.
"Oh I know" He smirked as Namjoon Hyung walked towards them, fully clothed and utterly oblivious.
"Hi Kookie" He smiled at him and unknowingly made him blush more. Tae was laughing too now and ugh Jungkook wanted to run all the
way back to New York. "Hey you" Namjoon Hyung fell onto the couch beside his fiancé and kissed him.
"Hey" Jin Hyung whispered back. Namjoon pulled the plate with the remaining pancakes towards him.
"I should thank you Jin Hyung" Tae spoke, setting his finished mug down.
Jin Hyung raised his eyebrows over his coffee cup at him. "Because of you Hyung has allowed me to stay with him in his room. First time ever"
"That's so mean Joonie. You never let your brother sleep with you?" Namjoon Hyung looked between the two, mouth full of pancake.
Jungkook sympathized with him. He knew what being attacked mid breakfast felt like.
"He's the worst sleeper, clings to you like an octopus" He exclaimed once he'd managed to swallow.
"You don't seem to mind that so much now" Tae smiled knowingly at his brother.
"Ahhh have you been missing me hogging you all night baby?" Jin Hyung had seemed to catch on finally. He scooted closer, wrapping his arms around Namjoon's shoulders.
"No" He glared at Tae who laughed out loud. His laugh was exactly as beautiful as Jungkook remembered it to be.
"You sure? I'm going to take payment before I let you break your dumb abstinence rule" Namjoon Hyung turned to face Jin and playfully bit his nose lightly.
"Won't be necessary" Jin Hyung giggled and leaned back, picking his coffee up.
"So what's the plan for today?" Tae asked.
"I have to go to the travel agency and finalize the trip" Namjoon replied.
"So you don't any of these brats?" He shook his head no. "Great then, you both are with me. We have to go check the decorations in the main hall"
Tae turned to look at Jungkook at this. Smiled at him,
like he was clearly aware of the inner pain Jungkook was in. He probably was. "Well let's get going then"
💍💍💍
So thoughts on Tae's entry? What do we think the deal is with him and Jungkook?😏

UPDATE TIME
#namjin #namjinau
Update hint😏:
The hall where the wedding was to take place was HUGE. Jungkook's mouth fell open as he walked in behind Jin Hyung.
"Damn hyung. Are you like, rich now?" He looked around and then at his brother. Beside him Taehyung was barely holding back a grin. What was constantly amusing him?
Jin Hyung blinked at him and then his ears began heating up. He cleared his throat.
"Well. Yeah" He handed a paper over to Jungkook who took it, not looking away from him.
"Since when?" They were always comfortable, but never rich. Jungkook knew all their inheritance had gone to
his uni degree, so this had to be the marrying couples own money.
"Since Joonie became the most sought after music producer in Korea" Jin Hyung replied, his face smug. Namjoon had been a producer from before him and Jin Hyung met. Which is why theirs was such an unlikely couple.
The music producer and the uni career counsellor. "More than a few artists have rescheduled their comebacks because of this wedding" Jin Hyung was still gloating. Jungkook felt a pang of shame. He hadn't even known. He really should have called Namjoon Hyung more. Taehyung
wrapped an arm around Jin Hyung. "Don't sell yourself short Hyung. Your book royalties are insane too" Jin hyung blushed, but looked pleased. Jungkook had at least known about the book. It had been a hit among the Korean youth. A series of essays on what he had learned about the
unfair way society treated its kids, in his years as a counsellor. Jungkook had read it, and it had been the book version of a warm hug from his Hyung.
"That's the kinda stuff you miss Kookie. When you run away" Jungkook sent a sharp glare Tae's way but the man seemed unfazed.
Jin Hyung seemed to either not notice the comment, or not know what it meant. He was looking into a paper in his hand.
"Ok so boys, I've given you each a blueprint of all the arrangements that should be here. The hotel mgmt says everything is ready except the flowers are fake,
will be replaced on the day of. Go around and check them all out okay? I'll take the left, you guys take the right" Jin Hyung looked at them. Tae nodded, recoiling his arm and scanning his blueprint already. Jungkook wanted to suggest that Jin Hyung should take Tae with him but
before he could, his brother had walked off. That left him and Tae by the entrance, the man looking at him expectantly. Shit. Jungkook stuck his eyes on his blueprint and walked into the hall. Tae fell into step beside him. They surveyed in silence for a while. The hall had a lot
of natural light, with its glass ceilings. It was snowing on the glass, making the light filtering in cast all kinds of shadows in the hall. Jungkook wondered once more why his brother was getting married in Elsa's backyard.
The sunlight was reflecting off Tae's dark hair. That was the only reason Jungkook was staring at him instead of the decorations. Not like he was drawn in by the beautifully sculpted face or anything. Honestly, his and Namjoon hyung's parents might have been horrible together,
but their genes together were divine. "The pictures here will be magnificent" Taehyung had been staring at a the wall that was decorated with a beautiful tapestry. He had already checked a few things off his blueprint while all Jungkook had done was stare at his cheekbones.
"You would know" Jungkook said and began surveying around the hall himself. He saw that the blueprint wanted them to check if table 5 had a view of the stage. He sat down and the table and yes, the stage was visible. Tae sat down beside him. "I've seen your work" He continued.
"And?" Tae set his elbow on the table and set his cheek in his palm to gaze at him.
"It's beautiful all of it. I mean, it always was. But you deserve all the recognition it's now getting" Tae looked at him for a beat, small smile on his lips. His face and eyes gave away nothing.
It was slightly unnerving. The blue haired Tae he had left 3 years ago had worn his every emotion in his expressions.
"Thank you" He said and got up, moving on. The blueprint wanted them to check that no table had a blockage in the path to the buffet. Jungkook got up from table5
and began to trace a path to the empty buffet line. Tae had sat down at table 7 to check its view of the stage. Jungkook felt his eyes on him and then he was following Jungkook's lead, tracing a path from table 7.
"How has America been?" He asked him, when they'd met at the
buffet and now were doing the same exercise for table 11. There were so many tables, how many people had they invited?!
"It's been good. Real good. I've learned so much. I have an assistant director gig lined up" Tae whistled at this, making Jungkook blush.
"That's good"
Tae leaned against the buffet table, staring up at the ceiling. "It was worth it then? Leaving all that you left behind?" Worth leaving me behind, he was asking. Jungkook gulped. Stared at his feet.
"I don't know" He went with honesty, not sure how well false pride was going to
serve him here. Tae just hmmed and looked around.
"Why are you both just standing there?" Jin Hyung had a hand on his hip and was yelling from the other end of the hall.
"All done!" Tae called out and walked to him, not looking back at Jungkook as he went.

Surprise! This is also a #taekookau :') any theories on what could have happened between this two? And how are we liking this so far?

OK UPDATE NUMBER 6 (I think)
#taekookau #taekook
As it turned out they had been no where near 'All done'. Jin Hyung was hell bent on going through everything with multiple fine toothed combs. "They're charging us a fortune" He muttered, going over the checklist for the FOURTH time. "I'd be damned if they miss a single napkin"
And they checked every napkin. Every single one, the fold the fabric, if it was clean. By the time they were done, Jungkook was aghast to find it was time for lunch. They'd spent all morning in that hall.
"Go get lunch with Tae and Joonie" Jin Hyung told him as they made their
way over to their rooms. "I have to go see my colleagues from college, they must have landed. You'll get bored"

"I'll give you a ride" Tae said, as they met up outside the room he was sharing with Namjoon Hyung, all bundled up for the biting cold outside.
That was a weird way to say 'Let's share a cab', Jungkook thought before he saw Tae hand over keys to the valet at the reception as they stepped out.
"Uhh how?" He asked, peak of eloquence. Tae looked down at him, eyes hidden behind shades perched on his perfect nose. He had
gotten even taller in the past 3 years. Where were these growth spurts when Jungkook needed them?
"I might have convinced Namjoonie Hyung to rent me a car" He smiled, clearly pleased with himself as their 'car' pulled up. It was a jeep. Tae had rented out a fucking jeep.
Jungkook supposed that was needed, with the mountainous region and snow covered region but still. He was shocked to such an extent that Tae had strapped himself in before it occurred to him to move and get in. Tae had hooked his phone to the music system and R&B music filled the
jeep as he drove. He had always loved soul music. It had grown on Jungkook too. He'd listened to nothing else all his first month in NYC. Reminiscing to things it had served as background music to. Before he'd realized that was a horrible way to get over someone, listen to their
music. Tae was drumming his fingers to the beat on the wheel as he maneuvered the jeep around with ease on the rocky roads. He wasn't talking, apparently content with the silence. Was Jungkook no longer the cool one between the both of them? Was that what had happened? He had
gone to New Fucking York. Worked on Indie Movies, was about to assistant direct one and he was somehow not cool enough for Tae now. Nice.
They got to the café in 20 minutes. The town, was bigger and more with the times than Jungkook had expected. He said as much out loud. "It's a very popular tourist destination. People from all over the world visit" Tae answered as they clocked Namjoon Hyung sitting by a window
inside the café. Jungkook couldn't help grinning as Tae fell onto the long leather seat beside his brother and cuddled into him, wrapping arms around him. Namjoon Hyung grunted and squirmed but he ruffled his hair fondly nonetheless. Jungkook sat down in front of him. A waitress
came up to give them menu. Ah finally some unhealthy fast food. "You're working. This is work. I'm going to tell your fiancé" Namjoon Hyung looked up from his phone, a panicked expression on his face.
"Please don't. It was only as I waited for you guys. Those 103 unread emails
were giving me anxiety" He sighed, but put his phone away.
"Hey Hyung, congrats on becoming a big shot PD" Jungkook chirped as the waitress came back and they ordered. Namjoon Hyung beamed at him, and god damn even he was glowing. Maybe him and Jin Hyung had taken a facial
together?
"You look exhausted Hyung" Tae pinched Namjoon Hyung's cheeks between his (very long, very beautiful) fingers. It made his already pouty lips form a beak.
"I'm fine. A little tired and sleep deprived. But I'm fine" Tae got his hair ruffled again but didn't look
entirely convinced. They had always been like this. The Kim brothers were close, much like Jungkook and Jin were. But whilst him and Jin Hyung took the more joking, roughhousing path to caring for each other, the Kims were more gentle. They regularly went on hiking and museum
dates. Tae slept over at the loft often. They told each other most things, which why it was surprising Tae had kept their secret, well secret.
"It must be exhausting, all this wedding prep" Tae persisted as their food was served and both Jungkook and Namjoon dug in with singular focus. "I never imagined when you got married it would be quite this big a deal" Namjoonie Hyung swallowed and turned to Tae with a mischievous
expression. "Did you ever imagine me getting married?" Tae laughed, putting a hand in front of his face to not spill out noodles.
"No. Never. But still, you could've just had a dinner in Seoul" Jungkook agreed with as much. This was all quite extravagant and not really either
the grooms' style.
"Did Jin Hyung want this?" He asked, just to be sure. Maybe his brother had turned in the past 3 years, who knew. Namjoon Hyung chewed slowly. Then shrugged.
"We both wanted it. Quit whining. It'll be fun. All of our friends together after years" Oh Namjoonie
Hyung, you sweet summer child, Jungkook thought as he sipped his soda. The grooms knew nothing. But ignorance was bliss, and Jungkook was determined to keep it that way. They chatted about everything and nothing, easily laughing and getting sugar rush from eating trash.
"So Tae, you're still going up for location scouting now? Not too tired?" They had settled their bill and were now strapping into the jeep. Jungkook had taken the back seat. Tae hmmed as he began to drive.
"Yeah I better. You do look tired though. I'll go alone"
"Scouting?"
Jungkook asked. Namjoonie Hyung turned in his seat to answer him. "Yeah, locations for the photoshoots. Tae is doing the wedding photography"
"Free of charge" Tae quipped and got pinched on his nipple. He giggled and the jeep swerved a little but remained on course.
"It's your wedding gift to us, don't be a smartass" Tae giggled some more and in hindsight it was those giggles, that were more like the old goofy Tae and less like present day cool, Gucci model Tae that made Jungkook say: "I'll come with you. I'm free" Tae made eye contact with
him through the rear view mirror. For a second Jungkook thought he would turn his offer down. But then he shrugged and looked back at the road. "Sure why not" He said, no traces of any emotion in his voice.

Might as well tag this slow burn, the way this is going xD But that's it for this update kids. I tagged it Taekook cuz that's what has been happening in this for the past two updates. Hope you liked it!

Let's get this #taekook going shall we 😉
#taekookau
Namjoonie Hyung forced them to get inside and get beanies and scarves, and honestly what a good idea that had been. It was FREEZING outside as the sun crept towards setting. Taehyung had retrieved his camera from the room and they set of. It was the same old school film camera
from 3 years ago. Jungkook was sure because it still had the same stickers on it they had put on, one afternoon at Tae's ratty apartment. Jungkook had loved that tiny studio that Tae had just gotten, straight outta college. When he'd moved into a somewhat similar one in NYC, he'd
missed it. "Model for me?" Tae broke him out of his nostalgic musings. They had climbed a little cliff, and Tae was standing in front of a little thicket of pine trees. Jungkook nodded and they switched positions. "Peak out from behind the tree" Jungkook complied.
"Joonie hyung would never agree to this pose" Tae chuckled, which did nothing to shake his professional, steady hand. The shutter went off and Tae looked at the tiny screen humming to himself.
"He'll do anything Jin Hyung asks, don't worry" Well there was no disputing that.
Tae motioned him to come out and stand in front of the thicket. "Thank God this place is picturesque. I am so out of my depth" He muttered as they began to climb further up the slippery path. Jungkook imagined the grooms, all suited up, climbing up just for pretty pictures and
shook his head. The things people did for weddings.
"Oh come on, you're a professional" Tae looked at him at this briefly and then went back to surveying the surroundings. They had something of a bird's eye view from here. Jungkook felt a hand on his arm and let himself be
manhandled to stand with his back to the cliff's drop.
"I'm a pro at urban and portrait photography. Not weddings" Jungkook tried to keep himself from shaking from the cold and fear of falling down as Tae's camera went off. "You look like a ghost" He commented as he looked at the
photo. Either the cold was playing tricks on him or Tae looked fond. The look disappeared as quickly as it had come as he asked Jungkook to move to the left.
"Well once these pictures come out all of Seoul's fancy musicians will want you to do their weddings, I'm sure"
He had meant that as a compliment but Tae made a face. "Ugh I don't want to attend more weddings. I only made it to this one because well, I love the two idiots getting married" Ah. Not feeling very wedding friendly were we? Jungkook knew it was not his place. He knew it was
pointless, it was dangerous to be asking this but the question was out of his mouth before he could hold it back.
"So I'm guessing there's no one you're going to be marrying in the near future?" The look Tae gave him made Jungkook regret the question immediately.
The look screamed 'oh the audacity' and now Jungkook had a third reason to shiver.
"No. No one" He replied curtly and began to walk on. Jungkook followed, cursing himself. What right do you have, asking him personal questions? He hissed at his brain. They rounded the periphery of
the hotel and this side off the cliff one could see the ski line. There were few skiers at this time, it was almost dusk. "What about you? Any one back in New York?" The question hit him abruptly. Tae was still looking ahead, not making contact. Deliberately avoiding it more like
"Nope" Jungkook popped the p as he buried his hands in his coat pocket. They really should go back inside, his nose and nipples were frozen. Tae looked at the view from the camera lens and then snapped the picture, without asking Jungkook to step in.
"Why? Can't imagine a lack
of interested parties in New York?" Jungkook was having a hard time gauging the tone of this conversation. Was this flirty? Accusatory? Plain curious?
"I mean, I haven't been celibate or anything" He'd been getting it regularly, thank you very much. Sated and thriving pfft.
"But no dating. Didn't have the time" Commitment issues, his brain supplied but he ignored it. Tae hmmed and for a moment they just stood there, watching the skiers do their things. It was barely light out here now, but Jungkook was transfixed at the setting sun. It was an
obnoxious venue for a wedding but it was a beautiful place. Maybe a drama less vacation at a resort is how he should be treating this trip. "This will be good for group photos. Come on, I think we've got em all"
Jungkook stepped into the elevator first as he raced inside the hotel. He had to hold the elevator as Tae walked in like he was a literal prince. Strutted up to the reception and handed them the camera. It was like watching a movie on mute as Tae told the staff what to do with
the camera. She nodded and bowed her head. Only then did Tae turn and begin walking up to the elevator. It was like the world was his runway. This Taehyung was holding his tall, broad frame with the confidence of a man who knew he was the shit. Jungkook's throat went dry as Tae
stepped into the elevator and the doors shut. He turned to look at him then, and Jungkook closed his gaping mouth with great difficulty. Something caught Tae's eye and he stepped into Jungkook's personal space with no warning. Jungkook stared at the nose mole, as Taehyung reached
into his hair and pulled off a few twigs. His gaze levelled with Jungkook's without him moving an inch backwards. The twigs fell to the ground as Jungkook was pushed against the elevator wall. Tae arched an eyebrow at him. A challenge. As if Jungkook had ever had the will power
to refuse him. He didn't bother with a response, just grabbed the lapel of Tae's jacket and pulled him forward. So much for drama less vacation, Jungkook thought as lips crashed into his.
💍💍💍
whoops 🔥🔥🔥 That's it for this update.
#taekook #taekookau
Also this is enough story for one chapter, do we want this up on Ao3 or not?
Let the spicy times continue? 😉
#taekookau #taekook
Jungkook was all kinds of confused. And winded. That had been a marathon. Who was this man he had just slept with and what had he done to Taehyung? The man that had shamelessly grinded into him in the elevator as they made out and had then pulled him along the corridor with their
rooms. "We can't do in any of these what if someone barges in?" Jungkook had regained his senses enough to be the voice of reason. Tae had just pulled him along until they had passed both their rooms.
"I'm only with Hyung for tonight. This is my room" Jungkook had been curious
about this rooming situation for like, 10 seconds before he was pulled into the room and shoved on the bed.

"Earth to Kook?" Now it was almost an hour later and Jungkook was still recovering from the whirlwind. So he'd slept with Tae again. It wasn't the first time. Far from it
He'd promised himself he'd not do anything like this and he'd broken it the FIRST day Tae had been back. Talk about self control.
"Hmm?" He called out weakly. In a flash, a curtain of hair and Taehyung's gorgeous face was looking into his face, the man hovering over him.
"Did I tire you out?" The face sneered at him.
"You fucked my brains out Tae" At least his laugh was the same, Jungkook thought with quite some relief as Tae fell back beside him. Nothing else had been the same. No adoring, shy looks. No coy lip biting, no egging Jungkook on
This Tae had just pulled Jungkook where he wanted him to be, touched him how he wanted to. Made him do the same. He had not let up control for a millisecond and it was mildly terrifying before Jungkook had decided to let go for once. And then it had been intoxicating. His phone
started to buzz somewhere in the room. Jungkook had no brain power or motor skills for anything but the buzzing did not let up. He groaned, which for some reason made Tae snicker yet more. He weakly swatted him and then bent down to retrieve his phone from his discarded coat.
It was blaring 'Jin Hyung'. Jungkook pressed a finger to his lips at Tae and then answered the phone.
"Hey hyung" As soon as he fell back onto the bed, Jungkook felt Tae scoot closer. Oh cuddling now?
"Jungoo-ah!" Jin Hyung all but screamed. "Where are you both?
Did you get back in time?" Oh right. They'd been MIA since lunch.
"Yeah yeah hyung. We came up to Tae's room to hangout" This time Jungkook giggled with Tae, but then bit back a gasp as lips attached to his neck. Jin hyung audibly sighed and then Jungkook him call out. "They're
back Joonie"
"Tell them they're immature dickheads" Namjoon's voice rang out loud enough for Tae to hear too and now they were laughing out loud.
"I don't think that will be any use baby they're laughing" Jin hyung lamented. "Are you guys coming down for dinner?"
Jungkook angled his head down to look at Tae. Another eyebrow raised at him in question.
"I think we're just gonna order up here" Jin Hyung said something acknowledging this and then cut the call but Jungkook had no focus on him, since the lips on his neck were back and now they
were accompanied by teeth.
💍💍💍
Jungkook was still confused. He just might be more confused now, he decided as the elevator made its way down. Jin hyung was humming to himself, AGAIN. He was even more chirpy today then the past 2 days but Jungkook was too busy brooding to ask.
Jungkook had laid awake for hours, replaying the mad roller coaster that was Tae's first day back. After their second round, Jungkook had actually been starving so he'd picked the intercom up, eager to call up room service.
"What do you want?" He'd turned around to find Tae
pulling his clothes back up.
"I umm actually hyung should be back to his room. I'll just go" Jungkook had frowned, setting the phone down as Tae buckled his pant and picked his coat up.
"But won't he ask why you didn't eat?" Tae hadn't made eye contact as he shrugged.
"I'll make something up"
"But-"
"I came up early to help with the wedding and hang out with Namjoonie Hyung. So I'm going to go. Keep the key card, I'll take it tomorrow." And with that Tae had bolted. Jungkook had eaten quite a sad (but huge, he was famished ok?) dinner and then
trudged back to their room. Jin Hyung had been asleep, a face mask on his face, hugging a pillow to his chest. Jungkook had laid awake thinking what the hell had happened.

They had walked up to the table reserved for them. They quickly gave their orders, Jin Hyung ordering for
Namjoon too. It was only a few minutes before the other pair joined them. They heard them before they saw him.
"Yes. Yes I have cleared my day. Jeez okay. Yeah okay you too" Namjoon Hyung cut the call he was on as him and Tae got to the table. Tae looked well slept, Jungkook
noted with irritation. He was wearing another printed shirt, buttoned loosely while Jungkook had to wear a turtle neck to hide all the hickeys he'd left. Rude. He sat down, pointedly not looking at Jungkook.
"I ordered for you" Jin Hyung beamed at his fiancé, who immediately
looked less irritated as he leaned forwards to kiss Jin Hyung's nose.
"Thanks baby" Jin Hyung smiled and then turned to Tae.
"I didn't know what you felt like having Tae, sorry" Tae waved him off, already reaching for the menu. "So, how was the sleepover?" Jin hyung asked after
Tae had ordered and they had been served coffee. Tae, who had already decided to set his shoulder on Namjoon Hyung's shoulder and wrap himself to his side. Namjoon Hyung scoffed.
"He's as bad as I remembered"
"Oh please you clearly missed sleeping with someone. Didn't squirm
once" Tae smiled at Jin Hyung triumphantly.
"Don't" Namjoon Hyung warned Jin before he could tease him and just got snickered at instead. "Ahh savor this calm and peace for a few more hours boys" Namjoon Hyung sighed into his coffee.
"Stop being dramatic" Jin hyung rolled his
eyes as Jungkook asked: "Why?" Namjoon Hyung looked at him wistfully.
"Because Yoongi and Hobi land today"

YAAAS Finally #sope from next update. :')

WHO IS READY FOR #SOPE?!
The new guests were due to arrive in a little over an hour, so they decided to stretch the breakfast out. Taehyung had gotten the developed pictures and he showed the grooms-to-be. After laughing their fill at the sight of a ridiculously frozen looking Jungkook, the grooms
approved the sites. Jungkook kept an eye on Tae, but the calm facade was not spilling. As far as Tae was concerned, last night had not happened. He was pointedly not making eye contact with Jungkook, but that was fine. He'd corner him later. There was no way they weren't talking
about this. Too much could go wrong too fast if they were careless. Jungkook had been drowned in these thoughts as the others debated some wedding prep when an honest to God 𝘴𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘬 jolted them all. "THERE THEY ARE MY LOVEBIRDS" That could only be one person. Jungkook was
grinning before he even caught sight of Hobi. Which was just as well because they did not catch more than a blur of the man as he ran into the only just standing Namjoon. The impact staggered them back but Namjoon hyung wasn't built like a mountain for nothing. Seokjin still
surged forward to brace them in case they fell. Which only got him pulled into the violent hug. "Hey Hobi" Seokjin laughed as Namjoon squirmed to be released. "You're so 𝘭𝘰𝘶𝘥" He grumbled as the hug finally released.
"That is no way to treat your best man jerk" Hobi hyung
swatted his friend with a lot of force. That had to have hurt.
"You can let me go now Taehyung" Everyone glanced to where the voice had come from. Jungkook had been so busy observing the storming arrival of Hobi, he had absolutely missed the other arrival.
Tae had also stood up and completely engulfed Yoongi Hyung in a hug. A prolonged hug it seemed as the top of Yoongi's beanie got waddled side to side. "No" Taehyung replied calmly. Beside Jungkook, Seokjin hyung snickered. He had almost forgotten Tae and Yoongi hyung were somehow
close. It was not the close friendship you would expect but it was very much there. "Come on now Tae, we've all missed Hyung too" Namjoon hyung's words made Hobi scoff for some reason, but then he turned around and caught sight of Jungkook. "J-KAY!" He yelled and then Jungkook
was engulfed in a hug of his own. 'Can't believe you decided to grace us with your presence all the way from NYC" Jungkook had actually seen the most of Hobi Hyung out of all the people he was due to meet at this wedding. Hobi Hyung was in New York once a year at least. And they
had met up each time he had visited. Like an angel sent from heaven with his suitcase full of contraband Korean snacks Jungkook would definitely had gone insane without. By the time he was released everyone had already sat down. They apparently decided to spare Yoongi hyung
further hugs. For the time being. "Gosh Hobi it feels like I haven't seen you in forever" Seokjin gushed, leaning over from behind Namjoon, setting his chin on his shoulder. Hobi sighed, entirely too big a sigh for the remark.
"I know Hyung. I've barely been in Korea. The new
streetwear contract with Fenty has me going back and forth between LA and Paris and here"
"It's been a pain in the ass" Yoongi Hyung mumbled from beside him. The stinky side eye he was levelled with was glorious.
"How has 𝘮𝘺 work contract been a pain in your ass?" Yoongi Hyung
looked unimpressed. Even more than he usually did as his default nature of existing. "By having you be away for most of this entire year"
"I was the one who had to bear the Americans, the jet lag and the terrible food. Can't see why you are complaining" Now Jungkook might be
back after a long time, but he was sure these two didn't bicker like this. Namjoon and Seokjin bickered and argued like ruthless debate champions. And then made up easily. But Hobi and Yoongi had always been the sweet ones. Too sweet almost. Maybe he was being too picky. "Anyways
" Hobi continued, beaming at the other couple at the table. "I've had my calendar cleared for this little winter wedding ever since you guys picked a date" Yoongi Hyung had taken the liberty of signaling a waiter for some coffee. Seriously just their food bill alone would be
enough to drive his Hyungs into bankruptcy.
"Yeah why did you guys decide to travel all the way to the devil's frozen kingdom to get married anyway?" He asked over his steaming mug of caffeine. Taehyung snorted. He was sitting beside Jungkook now. Not that he had noticed or
anything.
"Oh please Yoongi-ah. Stop whining like an old man" Jin Hyung rolled his eyes at his best friend.
"Excuse him, young and adventurous things exhaust Yoongi. Talk to him about light fixtures and watch him perk right back up" Ok. Something was definitely 𝘶𝘱 here.
Jungkook chanced a glance and found Namjoon frowning at his friend while Seokjin was clearly staring at Yoongi to gauge his reaction. That had been a downright mean diss, even for Hobi who had always had a tendency to be a little savage. But Yoongi hyung's face was the picture of
neutrality. "So Jin Hyung. I'm sorry but this idiot" Hobi placed a hand on Namjoon's arm, staring at him patronizingly. "is mine until you actually make the terrible decision to marry him" Seokjin leaned back and off his fiance's shoulder.
"Do I have a say in this?" Hobi shook
his head. "Nope. Did you clear your day Namjoon-ah?"
"For the millionth time, YES I CLEARED MY DAY" The exasperated tone was entirely lost on Hobi as he clapped his hands excitedly. "GREAT! Tae you're with us. JK, sorry you're team Seokjin. And our activities today are secret"
Jungkook yelled out a 'Hey!' just as Seokjin voiced out a 'Secret?' But Hobi didn't look interested in explaining as he got up and began pulling Namjoon along. Who sighed and turned around. "I guess this is goodbye for today huh?" He sighed and leaned in, presumably to kiss
goodbye. But he was yanked away before their lips could meet. Seokjin hyung opened his eyes, confused. "Did he just pull my fiance away mid-kiss? What the fuck give him back Hobi!" Seokjin hyung surged forward barely in time to catch Namjoon's outstretched hand. The entire cafe
full of barely awake, breakfast having diners stared as Namjoon Hyung was caught in an intense game of tug of war. That Hobi seemed to be winning, as he dragged the grooms-to-be out to the lobby before Seokjin yelled "A LITTLE HELP HERE?!" Tae spurred into action, running and
also yanking at the arm Seokjin was holding.
"LET HIM GO HOBI"
"HAVEN'T YOU KISSED HIM ENOUGH YOU'VE HAD HIM FOR 5 YEARS?"
"MY SHOE. HYUNG MY SHOE CAME OFF"
"MY ARM HURTS JINNIE PLEASE"
A sudden thud broke Jungkook out from his shocked spell. Yoongi hyung had fallen with his
forehead on the table. "So. Much. Noise" He spoke in a broken tone of a man who had suffered too much. How right Namjoonie Hyung had been. They should have savored the peace and quite while they had it.
💍💍💍
#Sope in this are going to be chaotic evil, get ready kids!
let's update this #sope chapter real quick
As it turned out, Jin Hyung did not get his goodbye kiss and was very pouty about it for a few minutes. He returned to the table as Jungkook and Yoongi were catching up, furiously typing into his phone. When he was done, he seemed to be in a better mood automatically.
"I hope you're not tired or anything Yoongi?"
"Actually I am kinda-" Jin hyung soldiered on.
"Good to know. Because we have the best part of planning a wedding ahead of us today" He looked around the table with barely concealed glee. "We're going menu tasting"

It was honestly
borderline shameful how ready Jungkook was to eat again, having 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 eaten breakfast. But as soon as 10 different type of starters were set in front of them, Jungkook was salivating. "Now remember to not eat all of the sample" Jin hyung warned as he pulled the little crackers
with cheese towards him. They were sitting in the wedding hall, which was decorated exactly like yesterday morning. The hotel apparently had no use for it other than weddings and no other weddings were taking place with The Kim Wedding. Jungkook ate one cracker, and it was
delicious. Jin Hyung had given them forms for scoring, extra as always. He marked it a solid 8. More cheese, he added in comments. There was a palate cleansing tea served to them, and Jungkook felt like he was on Masterchef. "So Yoongi-chi. You wanna tell me why you and Hobi
are not staying in the same room?" The question made Yoongi choke on the tartare starter he was sampling. He took a big gulp of his tea and turned to face Jin hyung. Well Jungkook's brother was nothing if not straightforward.
"Hobi wants to spend as much time as he can with
Namjoon. He's been very... emotional about this wedding" Jin hyung paused, spoon full of soup hanging in mid air.
"Emotional as in happy or us or...?" Yoongi hyung looked uneasy all of a sudden as he too dipped his spoon in the soup.
"I wish. He's been acting like Namjoon is
going to war, never to return. He took it better when Namjoon enlisted in the actual military." He chuckled bitterly before going to score the soup on his sheet. Jin hyung was biting his lip, lost in thought. The staff cleared the starters and began to serve the mains.
"But Hobi was 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑒𝑑 when we announced the engagement. He lost his mind when Joonie made him best man. We don't even need to have best men, this ain't America" He'd said the last part in English, and his cute accent made Jungkook smile. His brother really was adorable
Yoongi hyung too smiled a little. Far from his usual gummy smile but a hint of one. "He is happy for you. It's weird. He's okay with you two being sickly in love but you marrying has made him all weird" Hobi hyung had issues with the institution of marriage. Huh. Who would have
known. Jungkook knew Hobi hyung was a free spirit. He hated being stationary, being tied down. It kinda made sense to see of marriage as being that. Jungkook had a bad feeling about this. Because Yoongi Hyung was a hopeless romantic. The whole 'I see swimming pools and
children's names' shebang. No wonder there was a grey cloud hanging over the couple. Jin hyung chewed his pasta, a worried look on his face too.
"Did he tell Namjoon not to propose to me?" This made Yoongi hyung laugh. Jungkook gaped at him, pausing his annihilation of the pork
belly dish he was 'sampling'.
"You really thought Namjoon asked any of us before proposing to you? Hyung, he didn't even tell anyone. He went and got a ring, wrote a song and popped the question and told us after." He sighed, as Jin Hyung blushed furiously. "That idiot over
thinks a melody for days, as Hobi keeps complaining. But with you he's always just followed his heart, all else be damned" It was insane how Jin hyung still got shy about this after all his time being with Namjoon hyung. But he spluttered and waved Yoongi hyung off all the same.
"Seriously hyung. I'd say you lucked out but you deserve that idiot" Jin hyung smiled fondly at his best friend. They'd been inseparable since college, where they had been dorm mates. The house mates right up until the car crash when Jungkook had to move with Jin hyung.
"You and Hobi will be fine Yoongi. Maybe seeing this wedding will change his mind"
"Yeah hyung. If not then seeing Jin Hyung be blissfully married will convince him" Jungkook added and Yoongi hyung ruffled his hair fondly. The amount of hair ruffles Jungkook was getting these
was insane.
"Thanks kiddo. Well it's barely noon but I wish we had red wine with this because this is fucking delicious" Jungkook saw Yoongi Hyung score the steak a perfect 10.
Ooops trouble in #sope paradise 👀lemme know what you think!

More #sope shenanigans let's go.
Things got heated, almost like they 𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒 on Masterchef. The mains were easy, with the pork belly and steak winning over quickly. The desserts too. The starters though, proved tricky. Jungkook was happy to realize he was not the only one insanely invested in getting this right
Yoongi and Jin argued for an hour. Compared scores, weighed the merits of each dish, even went into the dietary details of it all. Until Jungkook wisely advised that they should look at the menu as a whole. Which Jin hyung somehow read as calling for all the starters and their
chosen main and wine 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛. Jungkook felt like he had ascended to food heaven. "I really think we should just go with the prawn cocktail hyung" Yoongi drawled, leaning back in his seat and nursing his wine to his chest. Jin hyung bit his bottom lip, looking at the prawn.
"But Joonie doesn't eat sea food"
"So? It's not like he will find out" Yoongi hyung sipped his wine and Jungkook was so sure Jin hyung would tell him off for being that evil. Instead, to Jungkook's horror, his brother actually looked to be giving this some thought.
"He could just not eat the starters..."
"Hyung! It's his wedding!" Yoongi was the one who slapped his shoulder to shut him up. Jungkook was appalled. These men were supposed to be loving partners. Not plotting masterminds.
"Exactly. He'll be much too elated to notice the
starters. Hyung, I think we have a menu" That was all it took for Jin Hyung to betray the man he was going to be marrying. The staff for one looked to be pleased with this decision, as the head chef nodded excitedly when Jin gave him the final menu.

"Now what?" Jin hyung looked
at both of them. "That's all I had on my docket today"
"Now this" Yoongi hyung picked up the still have full wine bottle and hugged it to his chest. Jin hyung rolled his eyes but led the way out all the same. Jungkook was good to follow them wherever. He could feel an incoming
food coma and was ready to just crash on the first available horizontal surface. It was only when he saw the floor length windows and the view did Jungkook realize they were in Namjoon Hyung's room. Yoongi hyung was already ranting as he sat down on the seat Tae had sat in the
morning he landed, when they'd gotten breakfast here. "See this is how couples should behave. Have each other's key cards, codes to each other's places. How do you ask someone to move in with you when he doesn't even give you access to his place?" Jin hyung sprawled on the couch
fully, a glass of wine in his hand. "You need to talk to him. Like, properly. What's the point of being snappy in his absence like this?" Yoongi hyung must have replied with something, but Jungkook had seen the bed. Jin hyung was a menace about people sleeping in his bed, but as
far as he remembered, Namjoon hyung did not mind. Convincing himself easily Jungkook fell face forward into the bed and was dead to the world in a nanosecond.
💍💍💍
It was the combined ruckus of too many voices in the room that managed to bring Jungkook back from the dead. He sat up groggily, nothing making sense to him.
"You guys aren't supposed to be here. How did they get in here?"
"Jinnie has a key card"
"𝑊ℎ𝑦 does he have a key card?"
"For emergencies"
"What emergency could possibly befall you with me staying here with you?"
"Ugh can you just not ask me any questions for the next 24 hours? Please, as a wedding gift I beg" Jungkook managed to open his eyes in time to see Namjoon stomping away from a mutinous
looking Hobi hyung, standing right on the foot of the bed with his hands on his hip. Hobi hyung turned around to Jungkook and glared at him too before he kicked his suitcase open with a huff.
"Hey" Jungkook jumped. Tae was standing by the bedside, looking at him pointedly.
"I've been texting you" He raised his eyebrows meaningfully. Jungkook said no words, not wanting to croak in front of Tae, who annoyingly enough still looked like he had walked off a runway. Instead he unlocked his phone and found the texts, from an unknown number. They were all
asking him to keep the key card to Tae's room handy. The memories of how he came to have the key card were great to rouse Jungkook's brain fully. Right. That conversation was still pending. For now he pointed to his coat, hung on a hook behind the hotel door. Amongst the chaos in
the room, it was easy for Taehyung to nod and sneakily take his card from the coat. And equally silently, leave the room to go to his own.

Hobi hyung slammed his suitcase closed as Jungkook got off the bed. He had a bunch of garments in his arms. Knowing him, they probably came
together to form a killer outfit. With another audible huff he sauntered off to the shower. "Your boyfriend" Namjoon wagged a finger at Yoongi as soon as the bathroom door closed. "is out of control. I might kill him" He added matter of factly, before finally moving over to join
his fiancé on the couch. Yoongi hyung just sighed, not having moved from his armchair at all. "Oh now he wants to kiss me" Jin hyung mock scolded but leaned forward to receive his kiss all the same. Jungkook was about to look away but Namjoon hyung leaned back, frowning.
"What?"
Jin hyung blushed self consciously. Namjoon hyung narrowed his eyes at him and leaned in to kiss him again before he could protest. When he leaned back the second time, Namjoon hyung's eyes were slits. "I trusted you" Jin hyung paled and quickly sat up straighter. "I can explain"
"My own fiance" Namjoon shook his head getting off the couch and stomping away. Jin hyung stared at Yoongi and Jungkook. "You guys said he won't find out" He hissed, getting up himself. He stumbled a little, wine drunk as he was. Yoongi hyung just shrugged. "Whoops" Jin hyung
smacked him before he ran after Namjoon hyung who was walking out the door. "Joonie wait, I'm telling you it was the best choice. It's prawns not even fish you can eat prawns!" Jungkook was beginning to see where Hobi hyung's anti wedding stance came from.
This was entirely too much chaos to deal with.

WELL I AM BACK!
More #sope being bickering idiots coming right up
#sopeau
Hobi Hyung emerged from his shower in 10 minutes and kicked his boyfriend and Jungkook out quite unceremoniously. When Jungkook beeped himself into the room he was staying in, he found the marrying couple huddled together on the couch, excitedly talking (screaming).
"No way! He
said that?!" Jin hyung yelled and was met with a nod. Hadn't they run out of the other room fighting over prawn appetizers? There was no sight of a fight having taken place because the two were now gossiping like teenagers.
"Yes. That's why he's being so crabby. He thinks we've
put these ideas into Yoongi hyung's head" Jin hyung's mouth was open in a shocked 'o' shape.
"That totally tracks with what Yoongi told us" It was then that Jungkook thought he'd make his presence known.
"Why aren't you guys getting ready for dinner?" Two heads whipped back to
him. Jin hyung eyed him incredulously. "Dinner?! How do you have space in your body for more food?" In all honesty, Jungkook did feel kinda full. But that was nothing a trip to the bathroom couldn't fix. He had a finite number of days to gorge on Korean food okay? He was going to
be gluttonous if he needed to be. He said as much which made Jin hyung shake his head in mild disgust and his fiancé chortle. "Well I'm not going. I'm going to unwind" He said stretching out on the couch, paying no mind to how his feet collided with Namjoon's chest.
"You should get ready though, hyung" Jungkook aimed this at Namjoon as he went over to his suitcase to pull out clothes. Another turtleneck because he had been freakin mauled. "Hobi hyung's out of the shower, he'd be ready in minutes you know him" When Jungkook straightened up,
he found that all the color had drained from Namjoon hyung's face. "Hobi will be at dinner" He spoke, eyes far away. Jungkook looked to his brother, but Jin looked as confused as he himself felt. "My mom and Hobi. At dinner. Together. Nope. No fucking way" Ah. Jin hyung frowned,
using his foot to shove at one of Namjoon's shoulder. "That's so rude Joonie. They've both come just for you and you're thinking of ditching them" Namjoon hyung scoffed.
"I almost wish they hadn't bothered"
"Joonie!"
"I'll just stay here with you. They'll not even notice my
absence" Namjoon hyung looked at his fiance and Jungkook knew he had it made. He had brought out the wide pleading eyes and nothing worked against the wide pleading eyes. Jin hyung looked away, huffing.
"If they notice they'll think I'm the same ungrateful host as you,
for harboring you" Jungkook watched amused as Namjoon caught both of his hyung's feet in his hands and used them to pull him to himself. "Please? We haven't hung out in so long. I'll tell you more gossip" He wiggled his eyebrows at Jin hyung. Who glared at him but the corners of
his mouth were quirking up. Jungkook decided that was that and walked over to the shower. "Ugh fine, you giant whiny baby" Jungkook heard before he closed the bathroom door behind him.
Jungkook was the last to get to dinner. He had taken a little more time that he anticipated in the shower, as per usual. He walked in on a tearful reunion between Mrs. Kim and Hobi hyung. Yoongi hyung was sat at the table, looking appropriately traumatized and Tae was laughing
unashamedly. Oh boy, was this going to be a trip. He joined the table and received his own lung crushing hug before they all sat down. Everyone busied themselves with ordering. Once the waiter retreated, Mrs. Kim burst into conversation like she always did.
"Ahh it is so good to
have all my kids around me" She pinched Tae's cheeks at this, who squirmed but broke into a grin nonetheless. He always had gotten along with his mother better than Namjoon hyung.
"Well that's one good thing to have come of this" Hobi hyung muttered, but loud enough to be
audible to the entire table. Mrs. Kim giggled, turning and patting his shoulder.
"I can feel you hobi baby. But cheer up. The wine helps" She winked and tilted her wine glass at Hobi hyung. Taehyung groaned. Jungkook was going to enjoy this. He was a little mad about last night,
sue him.
"Surely you're not against this wedding too Mrs. Kim?" Yoongi hyung spoke up from beside Jungkook, an edge to his voice. Mrs. Kim swallowed her mouthful of wine.
"Ofcourse not. I'm not against 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 wedding. I'm grateful Namjoon found his perfect partner"
This was apparently a little too much diplomacy for Taehyung. "Yeah you just object to weddings in general" She shrugged. "I have good reasons too. Seeing as how mine turned out" Hobi hyung nodded sympathetically.
"I personally don't see what the fuss is about. I mean if this is
what Namjoonie wanted, good for him. But marriage, rings, labels are entirely too limiting" Oh wow. Jungkook had sensed trouble in paradise but this was an outright stance against marriage. Beside him Yoongi was frozen in shock.
"Yeah. Too much heartache" Tae said the words
looking right at Jungkook. So that's what last night had been about. He supposed he deserved it. In any case they were outnumbered at the table, and Jungkook wasn't about to offer up any arguments.
"Is boyfriend also limiting as a label for you 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑒?" Yoongi bit back.
Jungkook had no idea what he had expected, because Jung Hoseok had never backed down from a fight.
"Sometimes" He returned easily, eye contact not wavering. They were saved from further bickering by the arrival of their food. "So tell me Hobi baby" Mrs. Kim started, unaware of
the cold wars afoot all around her. "How was Paris?"
Y'ALL WHAT TIME IT IS. JIMIN TIME
#namjinau
Jungkook ended up spending the night with Yoongi. He was starting to feel a little homeless sleeping in new rooms every night. Why had his brother booked him into his own room if he just had to slow dance with his fiance? Rude. He was sure Namjoon must have gone to sleep back in
his room if he knew what was good for him (cc Hobi hyung). But Jungkook really liked hanging out with Yoongi hyung and it had been so long since he had done it. Yoongi hyung asked him about New York, his work and his love life with no judgement. In turn he asked his old friend
about the interior design business he had started and which had really taken off in recent years. By the time they were done catching up, it was too late and Jungkook was too beat so he just slept next to Yoongi. Not like he hadn't done it before.
Another thing he had definitely done before was try to rouse a dead to the world Yoongi in the morning. It was remarkable how much poking and outright manhandling it took only for Yoongi to grunt a buzz off to Jungkook and go back to sleep in a millisecond. Checking his phone,
there was no message or missed calls from Jin Hyung telling him to come help with anything. Maybe he wasn't needed today after all. But he was up, so Jungkook made his way down to breakfast. He saw everyone already seated around a table, even Mrs. Kim.
"Ahh look who's finally
up" Jin hyung teased as Jungkook took his place and pulled the eggs towards him. "Yoongi hyung won't be waking up for today. He asked me to inform" That illicted laughs from around the table, and a scoff from Hobi Hyung. "Why didn't you call to wake me?"
"Because you guys can chill out today" Namjoon Hyung looked up from his phone to smile at him. "Me and Jinnie have to go settle our bills for the past days & discuss final arrangements with the hotel. Will take the whole day" Jungkook nodded in understanding.
"What will you do?"
Jin Hyung asked the table in general, something pouty and wistful in his tone. No doubt he wasn't looking forward to spending all day talking numbers. That's what happened when you had a fancy ass wedding.
"Well Hobi and me are doing my wardrobe" Mrs. Kim beamed.
Jungkook had a sudden vision of Mrs. Kim all decked out in Hope on the street streetwear. He chocked on his coffee hurriedly flushing the visual from his mind.
"I'm going skiing" Tae announced. Then after a moment of stalling, looked up at Jungkook. "You can join, if you wanna"
Jungkook was a little taken aback. Oh, not avoiding each other anymore then? But he did want to talk to Tae and this was a great chance at some privacy. "Yep, sounds good"
Jungkook had thought he was out of practice but it was nothing compared to Tae. He started collapsing from his first slide down the hill and was still barely staying upright on his 10th. Jungkook spent more time catching him than he did actually skiing. By the 20th slide they
were covered in snow and giggling like idiots. They went a couple of times before collapsing at the top of the strip.
"Hey" Tae said a few moments of silence later. "I'm sorry if I was weird after y'know" He was looking at the skiers and his side profile was enchanting Jungkook.
Jawline sharp enough to cut glass, cheeks flushed red from the cold. Overgrown curly hair peeping out under his pushed up goggles. "I just didn't wanna complicate stuff" He finished.
"I get it" Jungkook really did get it. This had ended badly last time when they'd gotten feelings
involved. "We're here for the wedding. Let's not sabotage anything and have fun" Tae nodded.
"Besides, you're flying back to New York as soon as it's over" Jungkook felt the familiar pang of guilt.
"Yeah" This was probably stupid. Tae was going to shut him down and how
humiliating would that be. And yet... "But I'm here for 5 more days" The suggestion in his tone was not missed by Taehyung. Whose face remained still for a moment before he broke into a smirk, the corner of his tongue poking out. "Funny thing is, so am I"
I know I know there was no actual Jimin in the Jimin chapter but hold onto your horses 😅See you next update, lemme know how it was!
I AM BACK
#NAMJINAU The #Jimin Chapter
This time, when Jungkook ordered room service after 2 rounds of very not gentle sexy times, Taehyung did not run out of his own room. He instead sauntered off to take a shower and Jungkook watched with satisfaction all the love bites he'd gotten to leave on him.
He'd be the one wearing a turtleneck to dinner. They ate in the room, finally really 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑔. Jungkook actually talked about New York. How hard it had been at the start, not knowing anyone and barely knowing the language. How alone he'd felt. Jungkook wasn't sure how much
it worked to make Tae hate him a little less for running away but his eyes were soft and he was nodding in understanding. So there was some progress. In turn, Tae told him nothing of the time after Jungkook had left. Instead, he spoke of work. Of the exhibitions, the trips, the
art projects. They were joined by Hobi Hyung when they had just managed to set the gaming console Jungkook went and stole from his and Jin Hyung's suite. Jungkook was reminded of the old days, when they had all lived in Seoul. Jungkook had lived with Jin and Yoongi.
Namjoon and Hobi used to be over all the time. Sometimes Tae used to tag along with his brother, if he had time off from college. They would play games in the tiny apartment living room. Eating takeout that Hobi Hyung insisted were giving him breakouts, drinking so much alcohol,
it made Namjoon seriously ask Jin hyung if he had a drinking problem. Anyone could see why it hadn't been easy, leaving it all behind.
Night had fallen when Tae's phone buzzed. "Hey hyung. Finally remembered your guests?" Tae snickered as he beat Jungkook's car in the racing game and then hit pause.
"Yeah we did. You guys wanna head down to the pool?" Namjoon's voice filtered into the room from the phone.
"Pool? Do you want to freeze to death hyung?" There was laughter on the other end before the same deep, husky voice of his almost brother-in-law spoke again.
"You'll see. Just come"

The 'pool' was a state of the art pool jacuzzi crossover complete with a net drawn in its center
Namjoon and Jin were already in the water, splashing each other like children. Yoongi hyung, who Jungkook had no idea who had managed to rouse was sitting by on one of the lounge chairs, reading. He was in his swimming trunks and a lose shirt though.
"Hey guys!" Jin hyung waved
at the three of them. "Come on. Water volley ball." Jungkook had known this was a bad idea. Hobi hyung immediately suggested a groom v groom team and teamed himself with the Tae and Namjoon. After a couple of failed serves and spluttering because someone inhaled the hot pool
water, the game started. It went peacefully until Jin hyung accidentally absolutely rammed a serve into his fiance's face. He was still apologizing profusely when Hobi Hyung's return serve collided with his nose, toppling him back into Jungkook. Which Yoongi hyung served back in
a way that it landed right in front of his boyfriend's face and made water get up into his nose. Taehyung was at the very back and doubled over with laugher. Jungkook had no idea what in the world had gotten into his hyungs. Taehyung's laughter was ringing out in the gym until he
saw that Jin Hyung had recovered and was aiming his throw right at him. He panicked and did the only thing that seemed to occur to him. Taehyung pulled his brother as a human shield so that the ball hit him 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯. Hobi hyung in an attempt to get to the ball slipped and
managed to catch Namjoon hyung's shirt at the last moment. The pair disappeared beneath the surface.
"Oh for fuck's sake. Joonie!" Jin hyung dipped under the net to get to the other side. Behind him, Jungkook could hear Yoongi hyung loosing his mind laughing. Tae looked like he
suddenly had no idea where his team members had gone. It was Namjoon hyung who resurfaced, dragging Hobi hyung up with him. They spluttered and Hobi hyung flailed around, dousing everyone in water. "So. Did we win?" He said as soon as he could breathe and Jungkook had no option
but to laugh with Tae and Yoongi.
"For the love of God Hobi. You almost drowned my fiancé." Jin hyung huffed. The fiance in question however, looked mutinous. Jungkook watched, silently, as Namjoon bent just a fraction, his hand dipping underwater. With no warning,
Jin hyung yelped as he was toppled over.
"Hey!" He yelled, as Namjoon, who had the foresight to catch his hand as he fell, pulled him back up. Jin hyung's face was plastered with hair, making him resemble a mop.
"That was for hitting me. Twice" Namjoon shrugged as he pushed
Jin's hair out of his face.
"I didn't hit you on purpose" Jin hyung spat back.
"Still hurt like a motherfucker" Jin hyung could see now, so he glared at his fiancé. Not for long though because he seemed to have noticed something. The game was clearly over, so Jungkook waded over
to the other side of the net. "Oh my God Joonie you've got a bruise" Jin hyung held his face in his hands and turned to look at the cheek that had received the rubber ball both times. "Aww I'm so sorry baby" He leaned forwards and pressed a placating kiss to Namjoon's cheek.
"Ow. Told you it hurts" Behind them Tae was shaking his head fondly, like this happened all the time.
"Sorry. I'm sorry. Here" Another kiss to the slightly swollen cheek. "Better?"
"No" Namjoon hyung pouted except his mouth was quirking up and his traitorous dimples were peeking
He got what he wanted though as his face was peppered with kisses. "Okay enough with the sappy shit you two" It was predictably Hobi hyung who had decided to intervene. Jungkook had noticed how neither him nor his boyfriend had made any moves to check on each other.
"Let me be sappy you almost drowned- JIMIN!" Namjoon broke off mid telling his best man off, eyes fixed behind all of their heads. Jungkook slipped a little with how quickly he whipped around. Sure enough. At some point in their commotion, Park Jimin himself had walked into the
gym. He was standing there, hair pink, wearing a plain white tea, black jeans and Chelsea boots. He had his phone out and pointed at them, like he had been recording them. "Took you long enough" Jin hyung said starting wade towards him. No. 𝘖𝘩 𝘯𝘰.
Wohoo. Finally Jimin has joined the wedding. Any guesses as to why Jungkook is not pleased about it? 😏

Let's update! #Jimin Chapter :3
#namjin #namjinau
If you asked Jungkook why he thought it was at all possible that maybe the grooms had not invited Jimin to the wedding, he would not be able to tell you. Of course Jimin was invited. He was one of Jin Hyung's oldest friends. Jimin used to be their neighbor back in Busan.
They'd known each other since they were kids. Of course Jimin was invited. Jimin. Jungkook hadn't seen him the longest. At least everyone else he'd met before leaving for NYC. Jimin however.... he'd not seen in more than 4 years now. He looked the most different out of everyone
too. For one, his hair was pink. It had been black last Jungkook had seen him. He always wanted to experiment with his hair though, it was no surprise he had gone for it finally. It suited him. But then again. Everything always suited Jimin. He was all decked out in Chanel,
Jungkook couldn't help but notice as he toweled his hair dry. Jimin had waited out for them by the pool chairs chatting with the group as they went to shower and change one by one. Jungkook had beelined for the showers first and come out last. Everyone was all changed and cozied
up by the pool chairs. "Hey Kookie" Jungkook startled at the deep voice speaking from entirely too close to him. He turned around to find Namjoon hyung standing behind him. A server wheeled in a trolley full of hot drinks beside him. "You're gonna be okay? With umm him here?"
There was a careful frown on his almost brother in law's face. Trust Kim Namjoon to always be in tune with everyone's internal struggles. Jungkook nodded, plastering a fake smile on his face. This was fine. He could handle this. For his brother's wedding, he could handle anything
"So, Taehyung right?" Maybe not, 𝑎𝑛𝑦𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔. Jungkook paused mid scrubbing his hair to eavesdrop.
"Yeah. I don't believe we've met?" Jungkook turned around at lightening speed to witness the handshake in person.
"No we haven't. You're Namjoon's brother yeah?" Oh this was
no good. Jimin knew who Taehyung was. He 𝑘𝑛𝑒𝑤. So all this acting coy was part of some elaborate prank which Jungkook was sure he was the butt of. Warning lights were blaring in his brain but it wasn't like he could start anything right now. Jungkook didn't even have the guts
to talk to Jimin in front of everyone. You never knew with Jimin. He could be totally civil, or he could cuss Jungkook out there was literally no way to tell. So Jungkook decided it was best to not poke a sleeping bear, in public. Everyone was taking a pool chair and grabbing
drinks. Jungkook grabbed a coffee off the tray and snagged the safest seat, between Hobi and Yoongi Hyung. Which left Jimin and Tae to sit beside each other as the engaged couple took the longest one, to sprawl in together.
"So Jimin. You're a dancer right?" Hobi hyung asked.
It was natural for him and Tae to be curious. They didn't know Jimin all that well. Jimin stayed in Busan, only travelling to Seoul for work and performances. Namjoon and Yoongi hyung knew him though, since Jin hyung always made Jimin stay with him when he was in town.
"Yeah, I am. I teach at the Busan Academy of arts, where I learned to dance myself. I also perform as part of my troupe" The pink hair was suiting him, Jungkook noted with disdain.
"He also performs solo. Sold out shows. Played the Black Swan for theatre" Jin hyung bragged from
where he was being wrapped into a blanket burrito by his fiancé.
"Whoa. A fellow artist" Tae looked genuinely awed and Jungkook felt a pang of jealousy. How had everyone back home done this well?! How was he not effortlessly the best? How was this fair?
The conversation was fully in swing now, with Tae, Jimin and Hobi talking about their careers, each having loads to share since they'd only met now. Yoongi hyung was talking to the lovebirds, and Jungkook felt it safer to tune into their conversation. So far, Jimin had shown no
signs of even recognizing Jungkook. "WHAT?!" Yoongi hyung yelled beside Jungkook. "That was the bill for just 7 days? Honestly, which one of you is selling drugs on the side?" That made Namjoon chuckle.
"Music pays really well hyung. Do you think producing for the TXT comeback
came cheap for Big hit?" Yoongi hyung was shaking his head, disgusted.
"Capitalism" He announced. "Is a curse." Namjoon hyung shrugged.
"It paid for the wedding and the ring. Can't complain"
"Still complaining about capitalism hyung?" Jimin had decided to pay his old friends
some attention after all. Yoongi hyung scoffed.
"Yep he still is" It was Hobi hyung who answered for his (supposed) boyfriend.
"Well since it has not solved itself, yes I am still anti capitalism"
Poor Yoongi hyung. Jungkook was used to seeing him defend his views against Jimin and Hobi but never both of them together. But he was rising to the challenge, getting fired up and more like himself than he had been all the time he had been here. Jimin did that. He knew how to
fire up a room, a person. His energy had always been infectious. Tae was fully enjoying the show, nursing a cup of hot chocolate in his hand.
"Hey, you're making me drowsy" It was spoken so softly, Jungkook almost missed it. It hadn't even been said to him. Turning around, he
found his brother staring up at his fiance, pouting. They were all cuddled up, with Jin hyung's blanket wrapped self snug between Namjoon hyung's outstretched legs.
"Sorry" Namjoon hyung whispered, taking his hand out of Jin hyung's hair. Jungkook knew this habit of his,
scratching the scalp of someone he cuddled with. Tae had told Jungkook how Namjoon did that for him too, when he couldn't sleep during their parent's divorce. Jin hyung raised his hand to run it over Namjoon's cheek which was still bruised and very slightly swollen.
"Sorry" He mouthed, to which Namjoon shook his head smiling. Behind them, the other four broke into a resounding bout laughter. Jungkook turned again to find them all doubled over, Hobi hyung flushed red from laughing. He'd missed the joke, but there were more. As the night
dragged on, Jungkook's companions got drunk on nothing more than the company of good friends. Jungkook couldn't help pushing all his anxieties to the side for the time being. "Look over there" Tae pointed behind them, after the clock had struck 2 am. He was pointing to the pool
chair where both the grooms had now fallen asleep. Namjoon's hand was back in Jin's hair, who had turned on his side fully, using his fiance's vast chest as his pillow.

"I don't see how this is supposed to relax anybody" Yoongi hyung looked around himself, as the party made its way down in the elevator. It was a tight fit with the 5 of them and the bell boy. Who had tried to tell them they were overloading the elevator but somehow one look from
Jimin had silenced him.
"A spa day is literally the most relaxing thing one can do" Jimin, whose bright idea this whole thing had been returned easily. He had opted for a striped tshirt and like, 4 silver chains for this morning's outfit. Gorgeous, as always.
"A spa day can be
relaxing, yes. Being in your company automatically cancels it out though." Jimin rolled his eyes, smiling when Taehyung snickered beside him.
"Please you just wanted to hang out with your boyfriend now that he's finally talking to you again" That got a raised eyebrow from Jin
hyung as Jungkook face palmed. It was the first reaction they'd gotten from the groom, who'd been oddly spaced out since he'd woken up.
"How the hell do you know everything, you just got here?" Yoongi hyung demanded as they exited on the spa floor.
"Taehyungie filled me in"
Jimin chirped as he flung an arm around Tae's waist. Yes. This was a thing that was apparently happening. After meeting probably for the second or third time ever, Jimin and Tae had spent last night somehow becoming best friends. Jungkook had looked on helplessly as both men
ignored him. They'd migrated from the pool chairs to Tae's room. Except the grooms who had been too drowsy and gone to sleep. Jin hyung had given his fiance a completely lethal pouty look when Namjoon hyung had separated to go to his room. It was the closest Jungkook had seen him
come to breaking his abstinence rule but he had persevered. The rest of them had camped out in Tae's room until Hobi and Yoongi too had gone to sleep one by one. Not before Hobi hyung planted a soft peck to his boyfriend's forehead. After they'd left Jungkook and Tae had whistled
and then told Jimin what had been going on. This morning too, Jimin and Tae had shown up to their room, the spa plan already made. Namjoon and Hobi hyung had passed, deciding to take the day and work on some music in this picturesque setting together. "I don't know, hanging out
with Hobi and Joonie sounds nice. I haven't seen him make music in ages." Jin hyung mumbled. Ah. So that's why he was being so this quiet. Jimin untangled himself from Tae to bound up to him. Not for the first time, Jungkook wondered how his tiny frame held this much energy.
"Come on hyung, stop missing your fiance. You'll have him for forever soon enough. This time is to hang out with us" It was impossible to not smile in the face of a cute Jimin. Jungkook knew from experience. So it was no surprise when Jin hyung too smiled, letting himself be
dragged off to the spa.

After briefly running into Mrs. Kim, who spent a good 5 minutes gushing over how pretty Jimin was, they all set about deciding their services. Jin hyung and Jungkook chose a hair treatment and shoulder massage. Jimin and Tae decided on pedicures while Yoongi hyung, without
glancing at the menu went for a back massage. Jimin had called ahead and arranged them all to be seated in the same lounge. This hotel was 𝑝𝑜𝑠ℎ. It got blessedly silent for a good while as everyone changed and settled into their spa activities. Until, a loud 𝑚𝑜𝑎𝑛 rang out
in the lounge. Jungkook hadn't even known he'd closed his eyes but they flew open as beside him, Jin hyung's masseuse had to pause in her work as he doubled over with laughter. "That was pitiful Yoongi-ssi" Jimin called out as Jungkook and Tae joined in the laughter.
"Shut up"
Yoongi hyung growled from where he was face down on the massage table. "He's very good at his job" The masseuse had the decency to politely smile and thank yoongi for the compliment. "I'd have expected Jin hyung to be loud but he's being perfectly calm" Jimin snickered, leaning
back into his chair as everyone went back to their services. Jungkook hadn't even known he had so many knots in his muscles until the woman massaging him dug right into them. He'd needed this. Beside him Jin hyung scoffed.
"I'm not touch starved like this loser. Joonie gives very
nice massages" Jungkook watched Taehyung grimace at the visual he too probably was working very hard to keep out of his mind.
"Oh yeah. Those large hands must come in handy" Jimin went on, no care for the plight of his neighbor and their poor staff.
"Mhm. Such talented hands those are"
"Ew hyung" Taehyung's resolve snapped at this, but Jin hyung merely giggled. His bad mood from the morning was gone now. Spa day had been a good idea after all. His masseuse had moved onto Jungkook's hair now, rubbing in the treatment and
wrapping it in a plastic cap. In the mirror, Jungkook caught sight of Tae leaning in to whisper something in Jimin's ear. They were both looking at Jin hyung, who was leaning back with his eyes closed. Jin hyung's masseuse left to prepare his hair treatment and Jungkook saw Jimin
also leave his seat despite Tae trying to call him back. Warning bells were blaring in Jungkook's head already as he saw Tae glance in their direction in panic. What the hell was Park Jimin up to now?
💍💍💍
So, any guesses? 😏
#namjin #namjinau
LET US SEE WHAT PARK JIMIN GETS UP TO
#Namjin #namjinau
By the time Jungkook's attendant secured his hair in the plastic cap after applying the treatment and he could waddle up to where Tae was still waiting or his feet to dry, Jimin was already back. Behind him, Jin hyung's attendant also walked up to him and began to do his hair.
"What did you guys do?" Jungkook hissed as soon as Jin hyung's eyes fell shut. He was a sucker for head massages and the woman lathering his hair with product was a professional. Jungkook wouldn't be surprised if he took a little nap right here. Jimin jumped up on his seat,
allowing his pedicurist to finish his session. "Nothing" He shrugged. But the shit eating grin on his face told Jungkook clear as day, that he had done 𝑠𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔. He turned to Tae, but he too shrugged.
"I was just telling Jiminie here how hyung has been looking the same
ever since I met him. He doesn't experiment with his look at all. His wedding pictures would look the same as any other pictures I take." That sounded innocent enough. But Jimin had definitely done something about it.
"Stop thinking so hard kookie you'll give yourself gas.
How about you get a pedicure while your hair sits?" Jimin batted his eyelashes at him and Jungkook knew he wasn't about to tell him what he had done. There was nothing to do except wait.
Jungkook was in the changing room getting into his old clothes, feeling like a new person with practically new feet courtesy of his pedicure when he heard it. An ear piercing, shrill scream. He fumbled with his belt and somehow managed to put it through before running out.
Everyone was gathered around the chair he had left Jin hyung at. He had indeed fallen asleep and must have only gotten up when the hair stylist began to blow dry his hair. From the other side, Mrs. Kim burst into their booked lounge, with a poncho clad friend in tow.
"Jinnie baby are you alr-" She stopped midsentence. "Oh dear" Jungkook pushed past the gaggle of hair dressers and stepped beside Taehyung only for his jaw to drop. Jin hyung was sitting in a chair staring at himself in the mirror. His freshly blow dried hair was... purple.
IT WAS PURPLE. Beside Jin hyung, his hair dresser was babbling. "I'm so sorry Seokjin-ssi. I swear I poured protein treatment into the bowl I have no idea how it got switched with purple dye. The treatment is also purple colored. I swear I didn't do this on purpose."
Jin hyung took in a deep breath. Yoongi hyung was looking at him with a concerned expression whilst Tae had lost all color. Only Jimin seemed to be perfectly calm. Pleased even. This gremlin. "It's OK." Jin hyung managed finally. "Please dye it back." The flurry of hair dressers
looked at each other in alarm. A different one who looked more senior, spoke up. "Umm sir we can't re-dye it immediately. It has to sit for a week otherwise your hair will fry." Jin hyung got up so fast every single person stepped back instinctively.
"A WEEK? I'M GETTING MARRIED IN 4 DAYS! AND MY HAIR IS PURPLE" His voice wavered at the end of the sentence and that was what made Mrs. Kim step up in front of him.
"This is unacceptable. Who's in charge here?" She demanded.
"Yes, who is to be held responsible for this?"
Yoongi hyung demanded and Jungkook would have taken pity on the poor souls who now had to deal with the pair of them. But he had more pressing matters to attend to.
"Hyung?" Tae ventured to a frozen in shock Jin hyung.
"I want to go to my room" He replied tonelessly.
💍💍💍
"We obviously do not have to pay a single penny for any work they did for us today. Also Mrs. Kim bullied them into giving us free services for the rest of the trip."
"Free services will not die his hair back Yoongi, please" Hobi hyung had joined them shortly after they
got to the room. Jungkook suspected a text from his boyfriend. He had been all business about it, checking the hair and judging the type of dye used. Jungkook knew he was analyzing in his brain how Jin hyung's wedding suit would look with purple. "Hyung, it will be fine."
Tae offered meekly from where he was loitering in the entrance to the suite. Jimin was next to him, an arm slung across his waist that was bothering Jungkook to no end. Jin hyung was standing in front of the full length mirror, silent since he had entered the room.
"You do need to get a tan though. This color's making you look pale." Cries of 'Hobi!' and 'Hyung!' rang out in the room but Hobi hyung remained unapologetic.
"Hyung?" Jungkook approached his brother, placing a hand on his shoulder. He was turning his face this way and that.
It wasn't even a good dye job was the thing. The poor hair dresser had applied it thinking it was protein treatment. She had focused on the roots. Jin hyung's hair was bright purple in the center and faded to a lighter shade to the ends. A demented opposite of highlights.
"It's fine. I'm fine. It's just hair" Jin hyung turned his back to the mirror. He seemed surprised by the amount of people in the room. "I'm going to nap." He announced, his voice oddly high pitched. Then without any warning, he dropped onto the couch in the suite and covered his
entire body with the throw blanket.

"Where are you?" Jungkook turned to find Hobi hyung hissing into his phone. "What part of emergency didn't you get? Get here. NOW!" Jungkook took a seat on a foot stool while Hobi and Yoongi hyung collapsed on the bed. The two idiots
responsible for this whole mess remained at the entrance as they waited. It took approximately 3 minutes for the door to beep. Oh right. Key card for emergencies. Who knew 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 would be the emergency they'd need it for. Namjoon hyung burst into the room, panting.
He was dripping wet, like he'd just gotten out of a shower. After taking a moment to catch his breath, he looked to Hobi who had called him. Wordlessly, Hobi hyung pointed to the burrito on the couch that was Jin hyung. Namjoon hyung looked utterly perplexed as he crouched down
by the couch. "Baby?" He asked as he gently pulled the blanket off Jin hyung's face. "Oh" For a moment Namjoon hyung just stared. His eyes went from his fiance's face to his hair and then back. Jin hyung's bottom lip wobbled. And in seconds he was sobbing. Namjoon hyung got up to
sit on the couch, gently lifting Jin hyung's head to keep in his lap. Who immediately turned around and his face in Namjoon's sweatshirt. "How did this happen?" Jin hyung sobbed and yelled his way through the story, face resolutely hidden. "Now everything's ruined" He hiccupped.
"Nothing is ruined." Namjoon hyung spoke after patiently having heard the entire sob (literally) story.
"My hair is ruined. I look like an idiot. All the photos will come out terrible and everyone will laugh. My wedding is ruined."
"You don't look like an idiot" With what could
only be practiced ease, he lifted Jin hyung into a sitting position in his lap. Jin hyung still didn't feel up to facing the room it seemed as he hid his face in the sweatshirt's shoulder now.
"Don't lie"
"I'm not lying" In a second Namjoon hyung had his phone out and was typing
away. "See. Violet pansies" Jin hyung angled his head to stare at the phone.
"My hair does 𝑛𝑜𝑡 look like that." Namjoon hyung tapped on the phone some more.
"It does" He gave the phone to Jin and then began to hold strands of hair up. He must have opened the camera, Jungkook
realized. "See darker and then fading out. Idols pay to get this done to them." Jin hyung sat straighter, looking into the camera.
"So it doesn't look bad?"
"If I'm being honest baby, it looks kinda hot" Jin hyung turned to Namjoon, mid wiping his cheek.
"Hot?"
"Mhm. I can picture it clearly" Jungkook sent a silent thanks to the heavens that Namjoon hyung chose to whisper whatever he could see clearly into Jin hyung's ear. Who went from angry crying splotchy red to blushy red in seconds. They were different reds okay?
"Geez Joonie" Jin hyung leaned back, smacking his fiance on the arm.
"I'm serious. Nothing can ruin our wedding. Also nothing can make my Jinnie look bad" He smiled, wiping the rest of the tears off his face gently. Jin hyung settled back against Namjoon and got a kiss to his
new purple hair.
"Everyone at the uni will die when they see this"
"Let's take a selfie while we still have sunlight" Jungkook's attention was grabbed when a throat cleared in the room. It was Yoongi hyung. He motioned with his thumb towards the door. Right. Crisis averted.
They could leave now. And besides. Jungkook had a certain Park Jimin he had to speak with. 𝑈𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦.

Whew i think this is the longest update I've written for this au 😅 sorry for the spam guys, but hope you liked it!

NO I AM NOT DEAD JUST BUSY. LET'S UPDATE.
#Namjin #namjinau
Jungkook got off the stool, slithering out unnoticeably. Not that it was all that hard, the engaged couple was entirely focused on making kissy faces at Namjoon hyung's camera. Jungkook would take a moment to marvel at his brother-in-law's superpower of cheering his brother up in
seconds up, but there were other pressing matters. He was the last to slip out of the room, the door beeping shut behind him.
"Not so fast" He caught Jimin's arm just in time before he followed Taehyung to his room. "Let's catch up hyung hmm?"
To his credit, Jimin did not make a scene out of this. He just led Jungkook to his own room, but Jungkook was sure it was all so he could savor his misery properly. They had left a very befuddled Taehyung in the corridor but right now Jungkook didn't much care. He was seething.
"What the hell was that Jimin hyung?!" Jungkook thought there was no need for preamble. Infuriatingly enough, his angry tone had absolutely zero effect on Jimin. He just sat down on his bed, crossing his legs.
"Don't over react Kookie. It worked out fine didn't it?"
"Worked out?" He spat, unable to help the irritation Jimin's smug face was causing to bubble up in him. "Hyung just had a crying fest because you died his hair purple! It's his wedding, why did you think it was ok to prank him like this?!" Jimin sighed like he was suffering
greatly listening to Jungkook go off. "Tae was talking about wanting Jin hyung to experiment with his look and we both know asking hyung would have done jack shit. So I did him a favor. He'll thank me when he has mind blowing, purple haired, honeymoon sex with his husband"
"Why?" Jungkook pinched the bridge of his nose. Talking to Jimin always came with a high probability of getting headaches, he'd forgotten. "Why are you suddenly so interested in helping Tae out?" The look in Jimin's eyes was dangerously evil.
Jungkook would have shivered if he weren't so mad. "I just want to get closer to him. You know, get to know him"
"You already know him" Jimin pretended to suddenly be super interested in his nails.
"I do. I just want to know what is it about him that made you cheat on me."
This again. It was like the two of them were unable to be in each other's presence without this coming up.
"I did not cheat on you." Jimin stood up and despite being shorter, somehow managed to make Jungkook take a step back.
"Fine. You only took our break to break-up all on your own and jumped into bed with the first hot guy you found in Seoul" Jungkook groaned. They had had this argument at least a thousand times already.
"You ghosted me for 2 months. How was I to know you'd turn up to Seoul and
want to get back together?!" Jimin scoffed. There was murder in his eyes.
"2 months vs a lifetime of friendship and 2 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑠 of dating. That's what I want to know. What does Tae have that I don't" Jungkook knew this argument was going to get them nowhere. And if Jimin had
made his mind up about befriending Tae there was no stopping him. This was time for damage control.
"Look Jimin Hyung. This is the most important week of Jin Hyung's life. He's happier than I've ever seen him. Please let's not have our shit ruining this wedding." For a moment
Jimin did not say anything. Then without warning, he flopped back down on the bed.
"I'm not here to sabotage the wedding. Just give me a wide berth." Jungkook nodded. He could absolutely do that. No matter that he'd failed at avoiding one ex. He could do it with the other one.
💍💍💍
That's the end of the Jimin Chapter! Hope you liked it. Also, I've still not managed to come up with a title to this au. Hit me up with your suggestions:

IT IS TIME. FOR THE. BACHELOR PARTY
#namjin #namjinau
The smile on Jung Hoseok's face as he arrived to breakfast 3 days before the wedding was glorious. Arrived, not just came to breakfast. He arrived. Dressed to the T, sunglasses on his face, hair styled. This was in stark contrast to his best friend and room mate who tailed him.
Namjoon looked like he had tried to make an effort but not quite managed. He was dressed in a full yellow sweatsuit, beanie on his head. It was minimum effort really. "Good morning sluts" was Hobi hyung's greeting which made Seokjin and Yoongi chortle and Namjoon groan as he sat
down beside his friend. "You're in a good mood" Jungkook felt pertinent to ask. Hobi hyung pushed his sunglasses to his hair, reaching for coffee. "That's because today is the day JK. The day I am here for"
"I thought you were here for the wedding?" Seokjin said to him in mock
hurt, hand over his chest. Hobi hyung was unfazed. "There will be no wedding until we dedicate a day to celebrating Namjoonie's bachelorhood while we can." Ahh so 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 was what was up. "I haven't been a bachelor for 5 years Hobi" Namjoon hyung grumbled as the final two people
joined them for breakfast. Jungkook was a reasonable person. There was no need to be irritated that Jimin and Tae had come down together. Had probably slept over together too (Tae had waltzed off to 'hang out with Jiminie' after him and Jungkook had their nightly 'casual fun)
He just hoped they Jimin kept his word and did not spill any tea to Tae. Tae didn't know anything about the relationship between him and Jimin and Jungkook very much wanted to keep it that way. "This better be as epic as you promised hyung" Tae said, cheesy smile on his lips.
He was dressed to go out too, his silk top a little flashier than his normal grandpa print Gucci ones. Jimin too was dressed to impress. Jungkook was pretty sure Tae had invited him to tag along to the bachelor party. Hobi hyung just smiled a super smug smile and went back to
looking into his phone. "You guys are going to go have all that fun without me?" Seokjin hyung pouted, directed it to his fiance who it had the most effect on anyway.
"It's your own fault hyung, for letting Yoongi-ssi here being incharge of 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 bachelor party."
Yoongi hyung scoffed over his third (?) cup of coffee. "Excuse me, Jin was perfectly happy with us taking a fishing trip with his professor friends. Not all of us can be expected to keep up with rapstars" He said with disdain, although his blush said otherwise.
"Ok ok stop bickering, my surprise is here" That perked up everyone's interest as Hobi hyung got off and left. "He's been going on about this 'surprise' ever since he came." Namjoon hyung paused in demolishing his rice and looked in the direction where his friend had left.
"I really hope he was joking about the leather harness, I 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑜𝑡 wear a harness over my naked chest." They didn't even get time to properly laugh at that as Hobi hyung reappeared in the breakfast hall. Except he wasn't alone anymore. "Jackson?!" Namjoon hyung's eyes went
wide as he gaped. "Jackson? As in Jackson Wang? From China?" Jimin yelled at Tae who nodded, his mouth open. "Wait, this is 𝑡ℎ𝑒 Jackson? Namjoon's ex boyfriend Jackson is JACKSON WANG FROM CHINA?" Yoongi hyun asked but in vain. Jin hyung was in no position to answer seeing as
he was currently choking on his cereal. Jungkook's duty as a good younger brother here was to rescue his hyung but he was too busy looking at Namjoon hyung chuckle, his trademark laugh where he want 'HA HA' and rise from his seat to hug the newcomer. Dressed in all black, a black
beanie over his head and a dazzling smile on his handsome face as he spread his arms to hug Namjoon. Jackson Wang from China was here. How many exes were going to crash one wedding? Jungkook couldn't help but wonder.
💍💍💍
I KNOW I have bought into the chaotic party animal Jackson Wang stereotype BUT I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Also he's perfect for this so why make an OC 🤷‍♀️Hope you liked this update 😏

OK SO I KNOW ALL WE CARE ABOUT RN IS THE GRAMMY PERFORMANCE BUT I HAVE TO UPDATE IT'S THE WEEKEND.
BUT OMG YAS #BTSGrammyPerformers
Also this is the Jackson Wang look we're running with. Bachelor party let's get it! #namjin #namjinau
"Damn hyung. Your hair looks hot!" Jackson (Wang from China?!!) took a seat at their table like it was no big deal. Jungkook was used to being around a celebrity, courtesy Hobi hyung but he had gotten used to that by now. Namjoon hyung acted like such a dork, it was easy to
forget he too was kinda famous and definitely hung out with famous people all the time. Dated famous people too. "Thanks" Jin hyung blushed, as usual, running a conscious hand through his hair. He was sitting straight as a rod, legs crossed. Hard to imagine he had choked on his
cereal when he first caught sight of Jackson. Taehyung had recovered first, hugged Jackson and was now leaning back in his chair. Jimin and Yoongi hyung were still star struck. Jungkook himself had not been able to manage any words in a good 10 minutes. None of which seemed to
matter to Jackson in the least. "Umm Joonie told me you couldn't make it to the wedding. That you were in America?" Jackson beamed, blinding the entire table. His smile was infectious, more in person than on screen. "I was and then I had to fly home to China but my Korean label
needed an urgent meeting so I had to fly to Seoul. And guess who I met on my flight." He clapped Hobi hyung on the shoulder, who was grinning a full Cheshire smile. "Hobi convinced me to delay flying home by a week and coming to this idiot's wedding" Namjoon hyung smiled, fondly.
He looked genuinely happy to see his old flame, even if his fiance was now fixing his best man with a death glare. "So this was all Hobi's idea?" Hobi hyung's smile fell a little as he quickly averted his gaze. "Damn Hobi you really came through with the surprise. I'm so glad
you could come Jackie."
"Anything for you babe." Jungkook thanked the stars Jin hyung hadn't been drinking anything or he would one thousand percent have choked again.
Namjoon hyung had always been so oblivious, it was endearing. Hobi hyung often joked about how he would always miss whenever someone flirted with him and it had only gotten worse since he met Jin hyung. Jungkook was sure he had no clue to the turmoil in his fiancé's head as he
casually introduced Jackson to Jimin. Jin hyung wasn't the jealous type. Usually. It was just that Namjoon hyung had no exes, per se. He hadn't been a big dater before Jin hyung. Which was good, except that meant his latest ex was global sensation Jackson Wang, whom he dated on
the down low when they both were rappers. And they were still friends. And that always made Jin hyung vaguely antsy around Jackson. Which is why he was worrying his bottom lip, listening to the conversation move onto Jackson's latest tour. "You gotta get back out there Namjoon-ah
It's magic."
"Yeah hyung" Taehyung supplied from beside Jimin. "It's time for a new album. It's been years since Mono." Namjoon hyung shook his head, looking pensive. "An album I can do. Touring however, not for me anymore." He turned around to flash his dimples at Jin hyung.
"I'll get too homesick." Honestly, what reasons did Jin hyung have for being worried? He had all 6 feet of Namjoon wrapped around his pinky. "That's all very sweet, but we have a schedule to stick to." Hobi hyung announced, looking into his phone. "So we have to be off, like now"
Jin hyung shot up off his seat with everyone, a slightly manic look on his face. "Take Jungkook too" What? Why was Jungkook going to his brother in law's bachelor party? Hobi hyung seemed to think the same, as he narrowed his eyes. "He didn't get to attend mine, take the kid."
"But I'm not even dressed-" Jungkook stopped talking the minute he caught the murderous look on Jin Hyung's face. "It's fine Kookie. Namjoon will change too. No way is he going to his bachelor party dressed like big bird. You can change with him." The protests by Namjoon hyung
defending his sweatsuit and Jimin's laughter were drowned as Jungkook was pulled closer to his brother with an almost painful arm grab. "No one grinds on my fiancé." Jin hyung hissed into his ear. "No. One." That was all the instructions Jungkook got as the party began to leave.
Namjoon hyung turned to his fiance, to say goodbye. "I'll come say goodnight." He smiled, leaning in for what looked to be a normal goodbye kiss. Except Jin hyung didn't let him go after one peck. Instead, in front of a courtyard full of diners, Jin hyung, the same man who
blushed if you looked at him for too long, pulled Namjoon closer and 𝑘𝑖𝑠𝑠𝑒𝑑 him. Properly. Bit his lip and only then did he let him go. Jungkook's mouth fell open. Taehyung had his mouth covered with a palm. Yoongi hyung had fallen back into his chair. Jackson had an
expression on his face Jungkook could only call 𝑎𝑤𝑒𝑑. Namjoon hyung blinked, frozen in place as Jin hyung leaned back. "Have fun" He chirped, like he hadn't done anything out of the ordinary. Jungkook couldn't wait for this bachelor party to start.

A comedy of exes update!
#namjin #namjinau
"How on earth did you get a limo to get up here in the mountains?" Was a very valid question asked by Jimin as they all got to the entrance of the hotel to find a sleek white limo parked out front. Hobi hyung just shrugged. "It drove up from the town. To drive us back to town"
"I thought he won't be able to do any of this because we're not in Seoul" Namjoon sighed to Taehyung who clapped him on the back. "Hobi, you are a legend" Jackson exclaimed, and then promptly slid into the limo. They are filed into the car and it began to drive down the slopey
road. "Hobi, these roads are not meant for limos"
"Namjoon-ah!" The exclamation made everyone jump and Namjoon turned back to his best man. "You will sop freaking out and start enjoying this. Right now." There was a moment of stand off, where Hobi hyung seethed and Namjoon hyung
narrowed his eyes. Until he relented, raising his hands in surrender. "Fine. I'm enjoying this. Why are we going into town?" Hobi and Jackson exchanged glances at this. "To jazz you up a bit"
💍💍💍
If it were anyone other than Jung Hoseok, Jungkook would have assumed this was all an elaborate prank. But because it was Jung Hoseok, Jungkook stood and stared in awe at the studio he was currently in. What had looked like a normal suit shop upfront, was completely transformed
and now had the Hope on the street print on it. Jungkook recognized the clothes from Hobi hyung's brand. Phew, if someone robbed this store right now, they would be set for LIFE! "Dang hyung, can I change too?" Tae said in a star struck tone. "Feel free" was the response he
received as Hobi hyung and Jackson led the man of the hour to a separate changing room. Jungkook obviously had to change, he was in his standard extra large shirt and baggy pants combo. Jimin was busy making snap stories of the store as Jungkook and Tae rifled the collection.
"Try this" Tae handed him a shiny red leopard print top. "You'll look hot in this" He added in a whisper. Jungkook was keenly aware of how Jimin was probably looking at them and yet he felt a shiver run down his spine. "I'll wear it if you promise to help me take it off tonight"
The smirk on Tae's face was worth the bravery and the flush on Jungkook's own face. "Deal" Jungkook grabbed the top and some tight leather pants and rushed to the changing room.
When he reemerged, Jungkook found the party gathered around a tall figure that could only be his brother in law. Jungkook joined the crowd and oh boy. There was instant whiplash as he took in the 𝑜𝑢𝑡𝑓𝑖𝑡 Hobi hyung had put him in. Namjoon hyung was wearing a black tank top
which was so taut against his chest, one would think it was a size too small. Over it, he was wearing a dull gold front open shirt, tucked into the tightest jeans known to man. And if none of this was enough, there was a harness, strapped to Namjoon's left thigh. Someone had
center parted his hair and gelled it off his forehead. "You look like the Namjoon I had the hots for." Jackson was leaned against the mirror Namjoon hyung was checking himself out in. He rolled his eyes. "I look like I'm about to go perform or something. I'm overdressed."
"Nonsense" Hobi hyung dismissed. "You look hot. Like you're supposed to. What's the point of all that gymming if you keep wearing shit two sizes large."
"Speaking of hot" Jungkook felt the slightest of squeezes to his ass and turned to find Tae eye-fucking the hell out of him.
Jungkook knew he looked good but something about Tae also knowing it boosted his ego. And when they all filed out to go back to their limo, there was new spring to Jungkook's step.
I hope this tiny update holds you over until Friday! :3

A comedy of exes update let's goo
#namjin #namjinau
They had all filed out of the makeshift Hope on the streets studio, except there was no limo anymore. Standing on the road, looking entirely out of place was a party bus. The type Jungkook had seen his fair share of, whenever he visited LA.
"Seriously hobi how much money have
you spent on today?" Namjoon hyung wondered aloud as Jackson whooped and got on the bus, Jimin pulling Tae on his tail. "You don't worry about that, come on." Namjoon hyung had long since given up on challenging anything it seemed as he got on, leaving Jungkook to bring up the
rear. As soon as he slid the door shut, the bus started and music and disco lighting filled the bus. Jungkook took a seat beside his to be brother in law. Tae had his camera out, no doubt making full use of the flashy lighting.
"So where are we going?" Jimin turned to Hobi hyung
"Down to the city." The proper city where the airport was, was a 40 minute ride from the little town. Everyone had settled down into their chatter when the music suddenly changed. Jungkook's ears immediately perked up as 34+35 from the new Ariana album began to play.
"I love this song" Namjoon admitted, blushing ever so slightly in the disco ball lighting. "Ah do you now?" The voice made Jimin absolutely jump up from his seat. The bus was big and they had all filed into the seats at the front. No one had thought to glance at the back seats.
Which is from where the man who had spoken rose to step up to the pole in the center of the bus. Jungkook had seen his fair share of lap dancers, having worked on an indie movie about them. The man before them was all dressed up in sinfully tight clothes, lots of leather involved
His hair was long and he had glitter on his face and arms. "Who's the lucky guy?" He spoke, to Jackson for some reason. "As much as I wish it were me, this is him" Jackson clapped Namjoon on the shoulder. Namjoon hyung's face had lost all color. He looked petrified, for the
second time today and it was barely noon. The stripper glided over to him, and with practiced ease straddled his lap. Namjoon hyung's hands gripped the seat on either side harder. Jungkook bit his lip to keep from laughing. Jimin had overcome his shock and was now recording.
"Hi handsome" The dancer cooed, twirling a loose strand of Namjoon's hair in his hand.
"Hi?" It came out more like a question but the dancer was a pro and smiled widely. He was actually very pretty.
"Let us have some fun hmm?" He swirled his hips and Jungkook was suddenly
reminded of why he was here. Shit, he had to stop this grinding. But Namjoon seemed to be ahead of him.
"Uhh no thanks?" He gulped, as the dancer stilled and raised an eyebrow.
"Relax baby. No on here will tell your fiancé. He won't be mad." The dancer clearly didn't know
Jungkook had a moral duty to report this entire thing back to his brother. He tried to imagine how Jin hyung would react. "No it's not that" The song had ended but another equally sexy one played. A whole stripper playlist, nice. The dancer pouted, still very much in Namjoon's
lap. "Then? Am I not pretty Namjoon-ah?" Namjoon's panic was evident on his face as he began to splutter. "No no you're very pretty." The stripper smiled and raised himself to try again except Namjoon hyung wasn't done talking. "But like, my fiancé is prettier" The dancer
narrowed his eyes. "You're biased honey" He scoffed. Namjoon hyung had his phone in his hand, clutched for dear life like he was about to call the police to rescue him. He clicked the side button to light the screen up and wordlessly turned it so that the dancer could see.
"What the hell?" In seconds their lap dancer forgot where he was and grabbed the phone. The lockscreen was a fairly normal picture as far as Jungkook could see. It was a selfie taken by Jin hyung where he was making a kissy face at the camera. Namjoon hyung was there too, kissing
his temple. It was one of those early morning selfies Jin hyung took a lot of. It was a true sign of how desensitized to Jin hyung's handsome face they had gotten that everyone stayed calm as the stripper gaped. "Shit man, does he have lip fillers?" Namjoon hyung shook his head.
"Wow. He IS prettier than me. That doesn't happen often let me tell you." Hobi hyung decided that maybe this was not going in the right direction after all. He cleared his throat and then swiftly grabbed the offending phone, slipping it into his pocket. The dancer got the
message, refocusing his charms. "But I'm here Namjoon-ah. Won't you let me give you one dance?" Namjoon hyung looked around. Tae shrugged non commitally but everyone else began to chant 'do it' and that was all the permission the dancer needed. The song changed and he moved his
hips with fervor. Jungkook tried to cut in but was swiftly silenced by Hobi hyung. Jin hyung was going to kill him. The dancer was good, Jungkook had to admit. His moves were choreographed and as he seductively removed his clothing, it was definitely heating things up.
Except Namjoon hyung's hands stayed glued to the seats. And after the dance was done, the dancer looked down at his crotch hopefully, only to be disappointed. "Seriously? Nothing?" Namjoon hyung, being the adorable bean that he was, looked genuinely apologetic.
"Sorry. But-"
"Let me guess, your boyfriend does it better?" Namjoon hyung nodded, blushing more than he had done during the dance. Wait. Wait what?!
"Jin hyung gives you lap dances?" Jungkook all but screamed. The dancer sighed, getting off. Namjoon hyung's eyes widened as he realized what
he'd just let slip. "I meant... I... oh fuck please don't tell him I told you. He will kill me."
"I will definitely bring this up the first chance I get." Jimin announced gleefully.
"Whoa. I see why you're marrying him." Hobi hyung nodded sagely. Jungkook sat there, his
innocence destroyed. "Well we still have time until we get to the city. Can you give me a dance?" Jackson smirked at the dancer, who lit up instantly.

I'M NOT DEAD IN FACT, I AM BACK
Comedy of exes update :')
#namjin #namjinau
"Okay so the only rule for tonight is, one shot every half an hour" Hobi hyung yelled over the loud music. The bartender at the club lined 6 shots, one for each of them. Like most places in these mountain towns, the club had not looked like a club at all from the outside.
They had gotten lunch first, and Namjoon hyung had relaxed considerably. He did yell at his best man all through the appetizer for getting a stripper without asking him. But by the time main course arrived, he was happily chatting away with him and Jackson. After lunch, when the
sun had started to dip below the horizon, they made their way to the club. Now they were inside, and the place was surprisingly full of tourists. Jimin downed his shot with ease and then began to film all around him. Jackson, and Namjoon hyung also downed the first one easily, as
did Jungkook. Hobi hyung drank his shot like it were a drink and Taehyung looked downright offended but downed the thing anyway. "Now. Dance." Before there were any protests, Jackson was dragging his ex boyfriend away. Jungkook knew he was here to prevent exactly that from
happening but Tae was pulling on his hand too. Fuck it, he was going to party. It's not like Namjoon hyung was going to do anything frisky anyway, the stripper had proven that.
There was a very catchy latin song playing in the club when Tae and Jungkook got to the center of the dance floor. Taehyung led the dance and boy oh boy did those hips not lie. He swayed them to the tune effortlessly, guiding Jungkook's hands around his waist. Jungkook used them
to pull him closer. A breathy sound hit his ears as there was friction. They had 4 people here who knew them but Jungkook found it hard to care. He danced closer and closer, now definitely grinding against Tae. Maybe they could find some time to slip away to a hidden corner or
something? But before Jungkook could do something about that thought, there was a manic looking Hobi hyung at their sides, pulling them back to the bar for their shot. More than a little irritated, Jungkook rushed to the bar. "The quicker we drink, the sooner we can get back."
Tae laughed as he picked his shot up. Jimin had also gotten to the bar with them and either Jungkook was very drunk, or he was looking at them a little funny. The groom to be was nowhere to be seen. "oof this shit is strong." Tae coughed. "It's tequilla, that's how it is supposed
to be." Okay something was definitely up. But Tae didn't seem to notice anything, swaying to the music in front of them. Jungkook could not help the fond smile that broke on his face.
"Hey DJ, you got the instrumental for Joke back there?" Wait what? All three of them whipped
their heads towards the stage. Namjoon hyung had indeed climbed up on stage and he had a mic in his hand. He was wearing the black sunglasses Jackson had on, who incidentally was also on stage. The instrumental for Joke began to play and Namjoon hyung began to jump around the
stage. Hobi hyung had dashed at the first sound and was now also on stage. "Oh my God he's performing Joke." Taehyung screamed, making a beeline for the crowd as well. Hobi hyung was recording the crowd on his phone, as Namjoon hyung began spitting bars. Even intoxicated, he was
on beat. Not one lyric out of place, stage presence of a God. Jungkook watched with amusement as he bent down and pulled Tae up to and now all 4 of them were jumping around on stage and the crowd had now realized this was RM himself, in the flesh. The noise was deafening,
dozens of cameras out and recording. Jungkook was on his feet, tap tapping with the beat. Joke ended and the DJ had the good sense to play the instrumental for Blue Side next. Namjoon hyung passed the mic over to Hobi hyung, who was now more J-hope than Jung Hoseok.
"This is amazing!" Jungkook yelled, as Jimin cackled. Jungkook turned around to face him, pure adrenaline coursing through his veins. The bartender offered them their scheduled drinks that they both downed effortlessly. Jungkook's head was swimming but he didn't care.
The mic had passed back to Namjoon hyung who was duetting with Jackson while Hobi and Tae hyped them up. There was a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. There was a split second where he turned around before he had lips on his. Jimin was kissing him, Jungkook could tell.
The plush lips, the soft skin under his palm. Memories from years ago, flooded into his mind and combined with all the tequila he had in him, made Jungkook kiss back. There were hands in his hair, he was gripping Jimin's waist. They were running out of breath.
The crowd let out their loudest yell yet, making them break apart. Jackson had jumped off the stage to crowd surf. Jungkook panted, turning away and stumbling off. What the fuck had he done?!

Let's see how the aftermath of the bachelor party goes, shall we? :"))
A Comedy of Exes update! #namjin #namjinAU
It was fine. Okay it was 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑦 fine. Jungkook had been drunk, and Namjoon hyung had literally performed Joke after what 7 years? He was excited, that's it. Also Jimin had always been an objectively great kisser. So like, he'd kissed back because he was a young man with
a libido. No big deal. Also everyone else had been on stage, it's not like anyone had seen. Tae had definitely had not seen, the way him and Jimin were arm in arm singing some ballad in the party bus as it made its way back to the hotel. Jimin too had probably already forgotten.
"You're the cause of my euphoriaaaaa" The song ended and there was resounding applause which Jungkook absent mindedly joined in.
"Now put some rap on, it's our turn" Jackson stumbled to the console where they were choosing music.
"Hope 'our' does not include me. I'm done"
Namjoon hyung had gotten comfortable, head on Tae's lap, eyes closed. He had a dopey smile on his lips. The instrumental to some old school rap song began to play as Hobi hyung and Jackson Wang from China got up and took their places.
💍💍💍
No one was walking properly as they all stumbled into the lobby. Hobi hyung was hung quite limply between Namjoon and Jackson who went (staggered) to the reception. Jungkook thought it was safest to just follow them but he was tugged a little at the elbow.
"Freshen up and meet me at mine?" Tae whispered into his ear. Jungkook could only nod.

See, he was only here for 3 more days. Then Jungkook was due to leave for LA in any case so might as well not feel too guilty about drunken mistakes and see as much of Tae right? Right.
He got to the realization just as he got the door of his room. It took a couple of tries, but he eventually managed to beep himself inside. Jin hyung and Yoongi were sprawled on their bed, in pajamas. The plasma screen was playing some ancient movie. God they acted so 𝑜𝑙𝑑
sometimes. "Ah the party monsters are bad" Jin hyung exclaimed, pausing the movie at the sight of Jungkook. "And supremely hungover by the looks of it." Yoongi hyung smirked. Jungkook decided to ignore them both and headed to his suitcase. He needed to shower and sober up.
Sexy times awaited.

While Jungkook was trying his best to put together a cohesive outfit in his drunk brain, the bell to the room began to ring. Incessantly. It was like bullets to his brain. Yoongi hyung got off the bed to get it. "Yoongi? Do I have the wrong room?"
"Hyung it's for you" Yoongi hyung stepped aside to let a very, 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 drunk Namjoon into the room. "Jinnie?" He looked around, very disoriented and Jin hyung was off the bed at lightening speed.
"Here baby. What are you doing here?" Namjoon hyung sighed in relief, and then
slumped with all his weight into his fiancé's arms. Now Jin hyung was strong but no one was strong enough to hold all 6 feet of Namjoon upright so he stumbled back and they collapsed on the bed. "Ooof someone is very drunk." Jin hyung grunted as he sat up, Namjoon hyung half
sprawled in his lap half hanging off the bed. He giggled. Yoongi hyung had perched himself on the stool by the dresser, recording. "I came to say good night." The speed at which Jin hyung's frown melted into a sickly sweet fond expression was remarkable. He smiled, and leaned in
to kiss his fiance's forehead. "You want me to help you change?" He looked down at Namjoon's outfit. "These pants look uncomfortable" Namjoon hyung had the audacity to 𝑝𝑜𝑢𝑡.
"They are. But they make me look hot. Hobi said."
"Ah did he now?" Jin hyung pushed all the hair that
had fallen on Namjoon's forehead off. He nodded.
"He said I don't look hot anymore. Maybe I'll wear these pants more." Jin hyung's frown was back.
"You do look hot. All the time."
"I wear boring, loose clothes" Jin hyung scoffed.
"Well Hobi is wrong. I think you're total hot
stuff." Maybe Jungkook was too drunk, but these two were so cute, he wanted to cry a little. Namjoon sighed, dopey smile back on his face. "I had fun tonight. Weddings are fun." Yoongi hyung stopped recording, an unreadable expression on his face.
"Try telling your bestfriend
that" He said, tone bitter. Both the grooms to be looked at him.
"Hobi doesn't believe in weddings. He doesn't find them fun." Namjoon hyung said, as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Well yeah, I don't like all this fancy shit either. No offence" Yoongi hyung countered.
Namjoon shook his head. "No Hobi doesn't believe in marriage. Commitment issues." Warning signs must have blared in Jin hyung's brain as he moved to get Namjoon into a sitting position.
"OK that's enough. Come on, let's get you into some comfy-"
"What do you mean commitment
issues?" The sharp tone made Namjoon flinch, rendered a little sensitive by the tequila, Jungkook imagined.
"Well, Hobi doesn't like long term relationships." He glanced up at Jin hyung as if seeking affirmation. "He only dated you for so long because he's so busy."
"Busy?" Yoongi hyung practically croaked.
"Yeah. Busy being a rap star. Rapping to all the sick beats I make for him." Namjoon grinned, looking up and Jin hyung rewarded him with an unsure smile.
"No but then, what about our future? Do we even have one?!" Yoongi hyung got off
the stool. He looked furious, which did not happen often. Jungkook suddenly wished he was somewhere else. Namjoon hyung flinched again. Jin hyung glared at his best friend.
"Don't yell at him. Talk to your boyfriend. Come on Joonie, we'll go change in your room."
Jungkook also had places to be, he was reminded. He gathered his clothes and rushed to the shower, leaving a fuming and pacing Yoongi alone in the room.

You guys didn't forget about the sope trouble in paradise did you? :')
#namjin #namjinAU
A COMEDY OF EXES UPDATE
#Namjin #namjinau
What was all this big deal about hating weddings anyway? Where else did you get to
a) get to see your brother in law jump on stage for an impromptu concert
b) eat as much as you want for every meal
c) hang out with your brother as much as you want after YEARS
d) and get to sleep
with your ex? Nowhere. Nowhere else was this combination of things possible and Jungkook was very glad his brother had decided to get married. He hummed as he washed the suds off his body. He didn't even feel the hangover. Sweat it out most probably. Tae had meant when he said
the animal print top worked for him. God had it worked.

Jungkook dried himself off, putting on a fresh set out clothes he had the foresight to bring along last night. Checking for any stray hickeys he might need to cover, Jungkook walked out. "Your turn" He practically sang.
Tae, who he had left asleep in bed, mumbling incoherently about '5 more minutes' was sitting in bed. He was looking into his phone. "Earth to Tae?" Jungkook tried again. Tae looked up and dread filled him. There had been an 180 degree change in the man. The soft, sleepy Tae was
gone. Replaced with the cold, menacing Tae Jungkook had met on his first day here. "What's wrong?" He barely got the words out, flinching at how afraid they sounded.
"I was looking through the videos Jackson and Hobi hyung posted last night." Tae turned his phone so that Jungkook
could see. It was a video, blurry for the most part, taken from the stage. It was harmless, a video panning around the crowd until Jungkook saw it. Clear as day. Him and Jimin, furiously making out by the bar. Jungkook's heart fell into his guts. He looked up and angry tears were
swimming in Tae's eyes. "Tae. Listen to me. We were very drunk-"
"Shut the fuck up." Tae downright growled, standing up. Towering over Jungkook. "I called Jimin while you were showering. He told me everything. I was always just a rebound to you. You hadn't even broken up with him
properly and you started sleeping with me." This was all so wrong. How had all this come out now? And why had the worse possible version?
"No Tae, you need to hear my side of the story." Tae stepped up to him.
"Is Jimin lying?" Jungkook felt his knees shake. He shook his head.
The tears, some of which had been clinging to his lashes spilled over Tae's cheek. "I can't believe I covered for you. I didn't tell ANYONE. Everyone thought I was dumb and pathetic for getting played by some fuck boy. When it was you!" He yelled, pacing around the room.
"Tae. I'm sorry, I am really-"
"Get out." He spat. "I can't look at you right now." Jungkook knew if he left now he'd never see Tae until the wedding. He had to explain NOW.
"I'm not leaving until you hear me out." Tae leveled him with a murderous look.
"Fine. I'll leave."
He stormed to the door, wrenching it open and running out. Jungkook ran out after him but the sight made him freeze. Tae had ran into Namjoon hyung. Who had his phone held to his ear, dressed in pajamas. "Hey let me call you back." He spoke into the phone and quickly pocketed it.
"Tae bear, what happened?" He held his brother by the shoulders, looking into his face. Taehyung absolutely crumbled. He began sobbing, in the middle of the corridor as Namjoon hyung pulled him into a hug. "Let's go to my room okay. Shh it'll be okay, I got you baby"
In that instant Jungkook knew. Taehyung was going to tell him. Jungkook was so, SO dead.

A Comedy Of Exes! Let's get it!
#namjinau #taekookau
Jungkook ran for his life. He had one last shot at damage control and if it required running on an empty stomach with a hangover, then so be it. He quickly got to the room he was supposed to have slept it. He beeped himself in. The room was still dark, curtains drawn and silent.
Jungkook felt not an ounce of regret as he forcefully pushed the curtains open. "JIN HYUNG" He yelled. "HYUNG GET UP." He climbed onto the bed to shake his brother awake. He had to tell him. Jungkook had to tell at least Jin hyung his side of the story first, before Namjoon hyung
told him Tae's version. He needed at least his brother on his side. Jin hyung sat up, wild haired and panicked. He blindly looked around before he focused on Jungkook. "Jungoo-ah?" His voice was sleepy and he rubbed at his eyes. Jungkook needed him to wake up. Like, now!
"Where have you been?" His brother asked him, sounding a little more awake.
"Hyung. I need you to listen to me, this is important." Jin hyung was a hundred percent alert now.
"What's wrong?" But Jungkook didn't get to tell him. Because in that very moment, the door to the room
was thrown open. "Stop running around like a coward and answer me!" It was Yoongi hyung. Him and Hobi hyung entered the room, Yoongi following behind his storming boyfriend.
"I don't owe you any explanations based on whatever drunk bs Namjoon has told you"
Hobi hyung then rounded on Jin hyung. "You" Hobi pointed at him. "Namjoon came to tell you goodnight, drunk out of his mind and you let this little weasel interrogate him? What kind of fiance are you?" Jin hyung spluttered, being able to form no words. He'd woken up 2 minutes ago
and so far had heard 3 people yell. Yoongi hyung was not done with his partner yet it appeared. "Stop trying to deflect. Namjoon was right wasn't he? You do not want to ever move in with me? Or get married or even do long term. Do you even love me Hobi?" Oh shit. Hobi hyung
sighed, pinching his nose. He looked extremely hungover himself. Jungkook couldn't believe they had been partying at the club less than 12 hours ago. "How are those 2 things related? Why does one have to play house to be in love? Are you in the 20th century still Yoongi?"
Yoongi hyung seethed, hands rolling into fists. "Don't call me ridiculous to deflect from your commitment issues. Look at Jin hyung and Namjoon. This is what love looks like."
"I'M NOT NAMJOON" Hobi hyung's resolve snapped. "You knew that when you started dating me. I'm not going
to center my life around another person and write love songs about them for a living. No matter how much I love them." He added, somewhat softer. Jungkook saw his eyes and they were pleading at Yoongi. Like asking him to understand. Yoongi hyung looked like someone had struck him
"How can you call this love? Refusing to move an inch from your stance for your partner. How do I know I'm not disposable to you?" Hobi hyung's eyes hardened.
"If you don't trust me, then I don't know. Namjoon's not getting married until day after tomorrow. Try seducing him."
The silence left behind when Hobi walked out of the room was suffocating. Had Jungkook just witnessed a break up? Had his hyungs just broken up? Yoongi hyung stood there, shocked. He looked up at the both of them, in bed. "Please don't try to seduce Namjoon. I love him a lot."
Yoongi hyung chuckled bitterly. Jin hyung bit his lip, sliding out of bed. "As if anyone can ever love me like he does you." Yoongi hyung sighed. "You're lucky hyung. I'm very happy for you." Before Jin hyung could get to him, or console him, Yoongi turned on his heels and left
as well. Jin hyung sighed. "This was bound to happen. I just wish it had happened after the wedding. Does that make me a terrible person?" Jungkook got shaken out of his shock. Wedding. Terrible person. Oh shit, his problem was still very much present.
"Hyung, listen."
"Oh yeah. What were you worried about before those two burst in?" Jungkook was going to kill someone. Just was he was about to speak, the room's sensor beeped again. Who's bright idea was it, for everyone to have every room's keycards? Jin hyung looked towards the entrance as
Jungkook got off the bed too. His blood ran cold when he saw who it was. Namjoon hyung was standing in the door. And he looked absolutely furious.
💍💍💍
Did Jungkook witness #sope break up?
A Comedy of exes AU update! ~Bring the pain oh yeah~
#namjin #namjinau
Jungkook backed into the room as Namjoon entered. Shit. He had lost all this time because of other people's problems and now his own was about to implode. "Joonie, our best men are out of control" Jin hyung sighed, blessedly unaware of everything. For now. "They're not the only
ones" Namjoon hyung's voice was quiet. Frighteningly so. Jin hyung followed him, frowning at his tone too.
"What do you mean?" Namjoon hyung's eyes found Jungkook and there was accusation in them. "You remember way back when Tae came to stay with us after his bad breakup?"
Jin hyung was taken aback by this, going with the look on his face. "Umm yeah? What about it?" Namjoon hyung looked away from Jungkook to face his fiance.
"Remember how we kept asking him who he had been seeing, who had dumped him like that but he wouldn't say?" Jin hyung nodded.
"It was Jungkook" It took his brother a couple of seconds to make sense of this. He looked from Jungkook to Namjoon a few times before settling on Namjoon.
"Jungkook slept with Tae?" Namjoon hyung nodded, mouth set in a thin line. Jin hyng fell onto the bed, like his knees had
given out. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU JUNGKOOK?" He yelled and Jungkook flinched. "Why didn't you tell me?" But before Jungkook could get a sound out, Namjoon hyung was talking again.
"Because they were sneaking around. And then Jungkook ran off to the States because things got bad
. He lied to us Jinnie." Jin hyung frowned.
"That's a drastic measure to take, only to cover up a bad breakup" Jin hyung was smart as fuck and right now was fully exhibiting his intelligence.
"Depends on how badly you mess up." Namjoon glared at Jungkook some more. Tae really
had told him everything. "Jungkook was messing around with Tae before he officially broke up with Jimin. And then Jimin came to Seoul to patch things up but found out about the two. That is when he decided he'd abandon his family and move to America"
"Don't put words into my mouth Jin, that is not what I meant"
"No you just came in here trying to pin all of Tae's emotional mess on my brother. Like it is all his fault the way Tae is"
"It is his fault! you remember him when Tae came to stay with us? remember how he was broken
and abandoned? whose fault was that emotional mess?!"
"Yours!" Jin hyung yelled. Jungkook had never heard him yell this way at Namjoon hyung. What was going on today? "It's your fault he was not able to deal with a simple break up. Because you've been coddling him all his life.
You were so keen on playing surrogate parent, and all you did was treat him like he was made of glass." Namjoon hyung took a moment to digest this. His face was devoid of emotion. Jungkook knew this had been a step too far. Tae was EVERYTHING to Namjoon hyung.
"I didn't realize my loving technique is classified as coddling. I've loved you the same way Jin. Have you been feeling coddled all this time?" His voice came out all quiet and honestly, it would have been better is he had yelled like Jin hyung.
"This isn't about me, or us" Jin hyung said, panting a little due to his outburst.
"Yeah? Because you don't have a problem when I treat you like you're precious so why doesn't Tae deserve the same? You know why I coddle him? Because he was 12 when he found out both his parents
didn't give a single fuck about him and that he had been effectively abandoned. Destined to being rolled around 2 equally absent parents, living between 2 empty houses. I coddle him because he needs to know someone will always give a shit about his damn feelings."
He looked at Jin hyung and there was no mistaking how disappointed he looked. "I thought he could count on both of us to do that for him. Guess I was wrong" Jin hyung crossed his arms over his chest defensively.
"I'm glad you've realized how disappointing a human I am before we got into something permanent" They stared at each other for a long moment. Then Namjoon hyung turned on his heels and left the room.

Jungkook felt like he had been hit like a bus. Figuratively of course he had no idea what getting hit by a bus felt like. It was hard to believe it was only 11 in the morning. Jin hyung had paced around the room, ranting about the 'audacity of these Kim Brothers' before stomping
off to take a shower. "Chill out today Jungkookie. There's no wedding prep since there's no wedding. We'll just hang out." He had said before disappearing. Jungkook had no intentions of relaxing. He had to fix this. Stat.

It was funny how everyone had keys to every room except
Jungkook having the key to this one. He rang the bell and waited patiently. When the door beeped open, Jimin looked like he had been expecting Jungkook to show up. He stood aside wordlessly, letting him in.
"Well. Wedding's off" Jungkook began as Jimin sat himself down on the edge of his bed. He sighed, nodding.
"I heard."
"Why?" Jungkook blurted out. It made no sense to him. Jimin made no sense anymore. "Why tell Tae? Why bring everything up 2 days before my brother gets married.
Is this revenge hyung?" Jimin glared at him, making Jungkook shut up and wait.
"I told him because he asked. He saw the video and asked."
"But you told him about everything from years ago too. Was that necessary?" Jimin bit his lip, contemplating. Then he seemed to decide upon
something. "It was necessary. Because Tae was catching feelings. Again. He told me himself. When he called this morning, he sounded so afraid. Of losing you a second time, I almost lied to him. He started this thinking he'll be the one leaving you with heartache this time but it
backfired on him majorly." Jungkook had not seen this coming. He had not been the only one with the butterflies in his tummy? Behind the Gucci model persona, Tae was not over him?!
"Why didn't you lie?" Jimin looked at him a little patronizingly.
"Because Jungkookie, this whole
thing is happening because you refused to face your feelings and ran. You'd have run again. It's time to face the storm." Jungkook felt his face heat up. Jimin was right. He had full plans to run away again.
"Did it have to happen 2 days before the wedding?" Jimin had the decency
to look apologetic. "I'm not proud of how it started. I did get jealous. It's why I kissed you. I mean you kissing back is all on you.." Jungkook couldn't believe what he was wearing. But this was Jimin. Expect the unexpected.
"I was drunk!"
"And you still find me hot"
"You ARE hot" Jimin chuckled, but it was a little bitter.
"But that's all I am. I'm just hot while Tae is hot and other things. You never got over him. You got over me." Jungkook felt guilt rise up in him.
"What about you hyung?
Did you get over me?" Jimin shook his head, getting off the bed.
"No. I'm not answering that. You don't need more shit clouding your mind. You need to take a walk and sit with your feelings Jungkookie. It's the only way you don't mess this up more." Jungkook had no time for this.
He had a wedding to rescue. He had to get back and talk some sense into Jin hyung before he did something idiotic. There were hands on his shoulders and Jimin made him look into his eyes. "I'll go hang out with Jin hyung. Keep an eye on him. You" He jabbed Jungkook's chest.
"Take a fucking walk." For once, Jungkook decided to simply listen. Walk it was.
💍💍💍
Jungkook's walk took all day. Now that he had decide to take the time, he committed to it. He gave himself time, sorted through his brain. He devised a game plan. It was way past dinner time when he walked back into the room he shared with his brother. The room was dark.
For a moment Jungkook thought Jin hyung had gone to sleep. But once his eyes adjusted he clocked Jin hyung's silhouette, on the couch, looking out the window. "Hey hyung." Jin hyung startled, whipping around to look at him. He sniffled, hand flying to his face. Must have been
crying. "Where were you?" Jungkook's heart clenched at how thick and sad his brother sounded. He walked over and joined him on the couch.
"Getting my shit together. Didn't Jimin hyung come?" Jin hyung nodded, looking back out.
"Just sent him back." They sat in silence for a bit
"He didn't call." Jungkook didn't have to look to know Jin hyung had started to cry again. "3 hours. Joonie could ever go 3 hours before calling me. It doesn't matter if he's at work or abroad. Always calls. He didn't call me all day. Or come." Jungkook ran a soothing hand up his
brother's back. "Why didn't you call him hyung?" Jin hyung scoffed.
"So that I can hear him tell me he's unproposing? No thanks." Jungkook sighed.
"Come on hyung. He's not breaking the engagement you know that." Jin hyung kept looking out.
"I don't see how we can compromise on
this. He's not going to not take Tae's side. You'll always be my first priority."
"Hyung." Jungkook shook him until Jin hyung looked at him. "I know you practically raised me. But you're getting married now. Namjoon hyung gets to be your priority now. It's okay." Jin hyung shook
his head, ever the stubborn person he was. "You don't get it Jungkookie. They can't blame all this shit on you because you don't have like, parents or family support. I won't let them." Jungkook felt tears on his face too. His brother had gotten so used to looking out for him.
Jungkook had not even stopped to consider what it would do to his personality. "You are my family. You and Namjoon. He was there hyung. Through all of it he was there. How can you think he'll ever do this to me? To you?" Jin hyung sagged and Jungkook pulled him into a hug.
"He was angry, sure. I did mess up with Tae. He must have been upset seeing Tae all sad and crying. But he loves you just as much as he does his brother." Jin hyung didn't respond. Jungkook prayed he was getting through to him.
"I'm tired." Jin hyung eventually said, getting off
the couch and walking to the bed.
"Okay let's sleep. But in the morning you're talking to your fiance." Jin hyung nodded meekly as he slid under the covers.

The next morning Jungkook woke up in an empty bed. He looked everywhere, in a panic. Jin hyung was nowhere to be found.
A comedy of exes update! We're so close to the end, I'm slightly emo about this😭
#namjin #namjinau
This could not be happening. Jungkook had looked everywhere. He had even swallowed his pride and woken Jimin and they had searched together. Jin hyung's phone was in the room, all his stuff was there but he was nowhere to be found. Jimin even called Hobi to ask if he was maybe in
their room. But he wasn't there.
"It looks like he's made a run for it Kookie." Jimin said as they regrouped back in his and Jin hyung's room. They'd woken Yoongi too and even had no clue where hyung was. The receptionist hadn't seen him leave either. Where had he gone?!
Had he really ditched his wedding to run back to Seoul?
"We have to tell Namjoon." Yoongi hyung spoke, pacing around the room. They'd asked Hobi not to, and surprisingly enough he had agreed. Namjoon hyung didn't know his fiance had run off. He deserved to. Jungkook sighed.
This was all his fault. He had to own up to this. Jungkook braced himself before ringing the bell to the suite. He'd asked Jimin and Yoongi to stay behind. It was best to not have an audience. Jungkook's breath hitched as the door opened to reveal Taehyung. He looked terrible.
There were bags under his eyes and his hair was less artfully windswept and more all over the place. He looked at Jungkook with a tense expression. "Now's not a great time Kookie." He said. In the room Jungkook caught sight of a kaftan. Mrs. Kim?
"I'm sorry Tae but this is
important. Where is hyung?" Tae shook his head and opened his mouth to say something but his words got caught in his throat. He was looking at something over Jungkook's shoulder. Then he abruptly bowed 90 degrees.
"Welcome Abeoji"
Jungkook had never seen the Kim Patriarch before. Him and Namjoon hyung did not get along at 𝑎𝑙𝑙. He had stepped aside abruptly to let the man into the room. He was tall. Which was to be expected seeing how both Tae and Namjoon were close to 6 feet tall. He walked into the
room with an air of authority, like he owned the place. He looked a lot like Tae, while Namjoon hyung had taken after their mom. Who was indeed present, bright yellow kaftan clad. "Minji" Mr. Kim acknowledged her with a nod.
"Jaewan" She replied coolly. Namjoon hyung walked out
of the bathroom that very moment. He stilled when he made eye contact with his father. The air in the room crackled with a tense energy. What had Jungkook walked into?! Namjoon hyung snapped out of his shock and bowed.
"Hello Abeoji" Mr. Kim grunted in response. He was wearing a
suit that looked expensive as hell to Jungkook. Tae meekly walked over to stand next to his brother.
"This is all rather..." Mr. Kim looked around the suit, slowly before continuing. "Lavish." He finished. Namjoon hyung clenched his jaw.
"Thank you."
"I didn't mean it as a
compliment."
"I know. What made you decide to show up?" Namjoon hyung was clearly not afraid of the man radiating terror and Jungkook was in awe. He watched a vein in Mr. Kim's neck jump, but his reply was calm.
"I wasn't going to, considering the impersonal, customary invitation
you extended me. But this wedding has caused quite a stir. No thanks to your little.... show a couple days ago." God damn that bachelor party. How much damage was it going to do? Namjoon hyung remained unfazed.
"So you're here to show your face? Got it."
"Mind your tone Namjoon"
Taehyung put a hand on his brother's shoulder, probably to calm him down a little. Namjoon hyung took in a deep breath.
"Please make yourself comfortable. I'll enquire about your room." He pulled his phone out. Mr. Kim sat himself down in a sofa chair.
"Where is your fiance?
Seokmin something was his name right?" Jungkook felt irritation bubble in him but it was nothing compared to the murder in Namjoon's eyes as he stilled mid dialing the reception.
"Seok𝑗𝑖𝑛" He gritted out. "He's busy." Mr. Kim looked unimpressed.
"Too busy to greet his father
in law?" Jungkook wiped sweat off his brow. Holy shit.
"You've never met him anyway" The smile on Mr. Kim's face was as unlike the one Tae smiled as it could get.
"Let me amend that then. Call him." Namjoon hyung made to argue but Mrs. Kim spoke up.
"Just call him honey."
Jungkook couldn't stay shut anymore. He cleared his throat. Everyone in the room turned to him. Jungkook bowed, with his face heating up. "I'm Jungkook. Seokjin's brother." He introduced himself and then quickly turned to face Namjoon. "Hyung, Jin hyung's not here." He rushed out
before anyone else could interrupt him. He was fully worried now. Jin hyung had been gone for 4 hours at least and no one knew where he was.
"Gone? When?" Namjoon hyung asked, confused expression on his face.
"I don't know. He didn't tell me and he's left his phone."
Mrs. Kim gasped, falling into the couch. Taehyung rushed to her side, putting an arm around her. He looked downright terrified.
"Splendid. We have a runaway groom on our hand. The press will 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 this." Mr. Kim scoffed, getting up. "The least you could have done was make
sure he wanted the same silly things as you Namjoon. This is a disgrace." Namjoon hyung's hands balled into fists.
"You have no idea about what is going on. Stay out of it." Mr. Kim narrowed his eyes.
"Your disrespect will not change the fact that this is a disaster. I warned you
when you announced that childish engagement that this marriage bullshit was pointless."
"Stop it Jaehwan" Mrs. Kim spat from the couch, clutching onto Tae for support. "Leave the kids out of your bitterness." Mr. Kim scoffed.
"Kids. Yes they are kids. How else would they have
ended up in this mess? It's good that the boy ran out on you. That will teach you to listen to me for once." There was silence for a moment.
"Why did you have to come?" Jungkook whipped his head to look at his brother in law. Namjoon's voice had gone quiet again.
Jungkook knew it meant he was furious. "If this is all such bullshit and you hate it so much that I'm marrying the man I love, why did you show up?" Mr. Kim threw his hands up in frustration.
"Love? Again with this love garbage, wake up Namjoon!"
"No you wake up! You know why
Eomma is better than you at least? Because she's had the decency to own up to her mistakes. Mistakes that made your marriage fail. While you" He levelled his father with a disgusted glare. "You spend your time denying the existence of love because you never found it."
Mr. Kim stood there stunned. Tae's mouth hung open too and Jungkook just wanted this to be over. He wanted to find his brother.
"You failed to teach these children even an ounce of respect." Mr. Kim aimed this at his ex-wife. Mrs. Kim scowled.
"I did teach them. I taught them to
respect those that deserved it." Mr. Kim set his mouth in a thin line and glanced at Tae. Who looked right back at him, not an ounce of remorse on his face. It was clear Mr. Kim had no allies here. He seemed to think as much because he turned on his heels and stormed out.
Namjoon hyung pinched the bridge of his nose. "Hyung" Jungkook called out to him, more than a little desperate now.
"I'll deal with Jaehwan honey." Mrs. Kim got up off the couch and walked over to her son. "You go find Jin." Namjoon opened his eyes, and looked at Jungkook.
"I don't need to find him." He offered Jungkook a small, tired smile. "I know where he went."

"How. Much. Higher?" Taehyung panted and Jungkook wholeheartedly agreed with the sentiment. They had been climbing this stupid trail for AGES.
"A little more" And Namjoon had been saying 'a little more' for ages also. He didn't even sound out of breath. God damn regular hiker.
After the whole Mr. Kim debacle, Namjoon hyung had made them go and bundle up and meet him at the reception. And then they had set out on a honest to God hike. Jungkook highly doubted Jin hyung had gone all this way, he hated moving. But Namjoon hyung seemed a 100% sure and
Jungkook had no other leads. The hiking trail opened up to a clearing. There was a short path, blessedly straight, that led to the edge of the entire cliff. He could see it from way over here, the back of Jin hyung's purple haired head. Namjoon hyung turned to them with a
victorious smile. "See? Now stay here. I'll talk to him." What? They had climbed all this way to stay here?!
"No, I want to hear too!" Jungkook whined and beside him Tae nodded frantically. Namjoon hyung looked around and pointed to a few trees to the side.
"Go stand there. And eavesdrop like the sneaky little shits you are" Ouch. Jungkook couldn't really deny that though so he silently followed Tae. They watched Namjoon hyung go over to Jin hyung. With no warning, he slipped on the beanie he had brought on his fiance's head.
"Hey there" He sat down beside where Jin hyung sat, dangling his legs off the edge of the cliff. Namjoon hyung sat with this back against a sign that announced the end of the trail, so that he was staring at Jin hyung's profile.
"Hey" Jin hyung's voice was quiet, but there was
no other voice this high up. It carried clearly.
"You gave everyone a fright by taking off" Jin hyung shrugged.
"Needed to get away." Namjoon hyung hmmed and even that Jungkook could hear. Nice.
"And you knew I'd come find you." That pulled a tentative smile from Jin hyung.
They sat silently for a moment.
"Why didn't you call?" They spoke in unison and then stared at each other.
"You first" Jungkook could see the pout on Jin hyung's face. Namjoon hyung looked into his lap.
"I... I was shocked. I kept thinking what if it was true and you really
thought I was overbearing and coddled everyone. I had been so sure you liked the way I took care of you. I didn't know what I'd do if you said you hated it." Jin hyung was struck dumb. Namjoon hyung looked up and frowned. "Now you go." He nudged him with his knee.
"I thought you would break the engagement" He had spoken so softly, Jungkook only half heard him. But he had already known, Jin hyung had told him last night. Tae on the other hand gasped dramatically.
"You really thought I'd breakup our engagement?" Namjoon hyung sounded hurt.
"You were so mad"
"I was mad, I hadn't 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦 mad baby." Jin hyung looked at him, biting his lip.
"I do love the way you take care of me. It's saved my life." The look in Namjoon's eyes melted Jungkook's heart. He glanced at Tae and found him smiling.
"I'm sorry I said all that mean stuff about Kookie. I was over reacting." Jin hyung shook his head.
"He 𝘸𝘢𝘴 a jerk to Tae. And Jimin." A pause, where Jungkook let the betrayal of his own blood hit him. "I'm sorry I called Tae an emotional mess. I love him a lot."
"I know you do. Also he is a bit of a mess." They exchanged small laughs as beside Jungkook Tae let out an under breath 'hey!'. Glad he was not the only one being thrown under the bus here. Out on the cliff's edge, Namjoon hyung had stretched a hand out to his fiance and pulled
him so that he sat with his back to Namjoon's chest. "Aish you're freezing. You could've called me instead of climbing up here." He rubbed Jin hyung's hands between his own. Jin hyung looked adorable with the beanie. He normally hated wearing beanies.
"Someone would've interrupted us" He huffed, letting Namjoon hug him closer and slip his hands under the lapel of his own coat.
"It is better when it's just us right?" Jin hyung sighed.
"We should've just gotten married in an old church in Europe like you wanted" That had been
an option? Jungkook had no idea. He looked at Tae but he stared back looking just as confused. No one had known this then.
"Nah. This is important. Let's not forget who this is for."
"For Eomma" Jungkook felt like someone had splashed water on him. Eomma? There was a hand on
his shoulder as it came back to Jungkook. Their mom had always wanted a big wedding but her and their dad couldn't afford it. She always said she'd throw her sons the biggest, fanciest weddings. Now it made sense how introvert extraordinaire Kim Seokjin was going through all this
shebang. Someone was speaking again.
"I'm sure she's looking down and is very happy you remembered her wishes." Namjoon pressed a kiss to Jin hyung's forehead. "Let's ignore everyone else's drama okay? It's our big wedding. We'll have fun no matter who's breaking up with whom."
Jin hyung turned his head to smile at his fiance. "Sounds good to me" He scrunched his nose when he got kissed on it. They sat huddled up for a while then, looking at the view. "It's still the same" Jin hyung wondered aloud eventually.
"Yeah. It felt so good to tell you I loved
you here for the first time." Jin hyung smiled, burrowing more into Namjoon.
"Felt good to hear it." Jungkook's legs were getting tired and the left one was asleep when Namjoon finally said: "We should head back" Jin hyung made a whiny noise that made him giggle.
"You picked a good time to disappear by the way. You avoided meeting my father" Jin hyung spun around fully. Jungkook imagined he was gaping at Namjoon.
"Your father came?!" He yelled.
"Yep and messed up in like 10 minutes."
"Aww love. I'm sorry" Namjoon hyung shook his head,
getting up finally. He pulled Jin hyung to his feet too.
"Don't be. We're ignoring everyone and having fun remember? Come on. We have a rehearsal dinner to attend."

A comedy of exes update! #namjin #namjinau
Jungkook ran into the shower 15 minutes before dinner was due to start. As the water hit him at full blast, he took in a moment to breathe. It had been a crazy day ever since they came back from the hike. There had been a silent agreement not to bring up any drama and him and Tae
had stuck to it like good brothers. As soon as they got back Jin hyung had wanted to go introduce himself to Mr. Kim, as a goodwill gesture. Namjoon hyung had absolutely refused to be a part of that and looked disgusted at the very idea of apologizing. So instead, he'd gone to
gym. Typical coping mechanism. That had left Jungkook and Tae to go over the dinner prep. They had called Jimin and asked him to check up on the best men, who absolutely HAD to be at the dinner. He'd come through, telling them the warring boyfriends were good for dinner.
Jungkook had rushed in as Jin hyung had been heading out all dressed up and ready to greet his guests. He was decked out in a pink suit with a cream dress shirt and as glowing his blissed out glow again. Jungkook smiled to himself as he dried off and plugged in the hair dryer.
This wedding wasn't ruined after all then.
💍💍💍
The first thing Jungkook saw when he entered the hall was that everyone was settling down to eat. He was LATE. To his brother's rehearsal dinner. He forgave himself easily, rushing to their table. He sat down beside Jin hyung and
smiled when he squeezed his shoulder lovingly. Even Namjoon hyung smiled at Jungkook and that felt like a weight off his shoulder. He loved his brother in law dearly and to think he wasn't mad at him, felt good. Jungkook looked around the table as he ate.
Mr. Kim was there, although his nose was upturned and he was eating quietly. Mrs. Kim was dressed UP for the occasion and talking to everyone. She was currently gushing over how pretty Jin hyung looked and honestly, mood. Namjoon hyung was talking to Hobi hyung, who was wearing
a top notch suit from his line. Yoongi hyung sat beside him. They weren't talking but sitting together was good right? Jimin was sitting beside Jungkook, also talking with Mrs. Kim and Jin hyung. Jungkook finally perked up the courage to look at Tae. He looked...beautiful.
He was wearing a long brown coat over his patterned shirt and loose slacks. Camera slung around his neck. Jungkook imagined he was taking pictures before he showed up. He was smiling, listening in to the pockets of conversation around him. A joke from Jimin made his signature
boxy grin pop out and God. Jungkook wanted to make it up to him so bad. He'd have to find a way before the wedding was over.
Yoongi hyung got up when dessert was served. An attendant brought him a mic and he coughed to get the hall's attention. There was no strict need to have this dinner but they were having it for 2 reasons. One, there were so many guests staying at the hotel, the grooms could never
have met them all on wedding day. So this was to divide the load. And second: best man speeches.
""Would you believe distinguished guests, that I, resident Kim Seokjin best friend, did not meet Namjoon for 8 months into their relationship? It's true." Yoongi hyung began, looking
around the room. Beside him, Jin hyung groaned, his ears already bright red. "Kim Seokjin who always wants everyone he knows to be friends with each other, refused to introduce us to this new guy he was seeing. But he talked about him relentlessly. Which did not do much to curb
our curiosity. New guy apparently made music for a living. Loved plants and nature. Loved dragging Jin Hyung out of his apartment to see daylight once in a while. Within a month we knew everything from how New Guy refused to eat fish, loved crabs and had an unfortunate tendency
to hurt himself. But we weren't allowed to meet him." Everyone around the hall was laughing. Jungkook felt nostalgia wash over him. Even he had not been allowed to meet Namjoon hyung at the start. "I think Jin hyung wouldn't have introduced Namjoonie to us for an entire year had
fate not had other plans. At Hyung's parents' funeral, we were all there. He was holding himself remarkably well, greeting the guests who paid their respects, checking on Jungkookie. I for my part was worried he was holding too much in and would break. He hadn't cried once."
Jungkook spied Namjoon hyung lacing his hand with Jin hyung's. He gulped as Yoongi hyung went on. "At one point when there was a lull in the arrival of guests, Hyung excused himself and then disappeared for a long time. So long I had to go look for him. I found him outside, on a
bench. Sobbing his eyes out into some guy's chest who I had seen inside earlier, and assumed was someone from work. But it was New Guy." Yoongi hyung now turned to look at Namjoon, his eyes misty. Jungkook was crying too. Fuck. "In a way I met Namjoon at his best, that night at
Hyung's place. Solid, reliable, attentive. I realized Hyung had not been kidding when he said his voice sounded like honey. It did when he spoke to him. It made total sense why Jin Hyung showed this dork all the sides of him, when he fought through a numb arm and intense need to
pee but didn't move just because Hyung had fallen asleep on him. Over the past years I've watched Jin Hyung turn up on days being his worst bratty, snappy self his worse broody self, his god awful whiny self and Namjoon found a way to love them all. In turn Jin Hyung to this day
never wastes an opportunity to wax poetic about the littlest things Namjoon does. That is how I know these two are the literal best people to be getting married. No one out there can possibly find them as lovable as they find each other." Yoongi hyung picked his glass off the
table as people across the hall cheered. "So let's raise a glass to fate for getting one thing right and letting these two find each other. Cheers!" Cries of cheers rang out as Jin hyung got up to hug his best friend. Tae's camera had been going off non-stop. Hobi hyung clapped
Namjoon on the shoulder as he got up when the commotion had died down a bit. He got handed a mic too. Jungkook dried his tears and a flash told him he had been photographed.
He glared at Taehyung who just shrugged. Beside him, Jimin offered Jungkook tissue papers. Oh God why were weddings so EMOTIONAL?
"I think I now have a duty to not make you all cry with my speech. Also I apologize in advance for the amount of times I'm about to use the word dick
in this speech" The hall laughed and Jungkook was one of them.
"Someone turn his mic off!" Namjoon hyung yelled and there was slightly genuine panic in his voice. Hobi hyung just grinned as he went on. "Well unlike everyone else here, I was there when this little lovestory here
began. I have known Namjoonie here a long time. Ever since we were kids. So trust me when I tell you, from the moment Namjoon discovered he had a dick and what to do with it, he's been a bit of a fuck boy. I'm not saying I'm any better, but Namjoon is a legacy fuck boy. He was a
fuckboy in High school, a major campus renowned fuck boy in college and it didn't get better when we both decided to go work in the music industry. You know, the industry totally not famous for churning out family men." The entire hall was laughing uncontrollably. Namjoon hyung
had his head in his hands and Mr. Kim looked so scandalized Jungkook thought he would leave. "Which is why I was completely not surprised when I saw Namjoonie here at a party 5 years ago, chatting up a very handsome dude. I was surprised however when after a couple of hours I saw
him again. At the same bar, talking to the same man. When Namjoon came to find me at the end of that night, not having gone home with that guy, I was aghast." Jin hyung lovingly patted his fiance's cheek, from where he had set his head on Jin hyung's shoulder.
"The next few weeks I watched in real time as Namjoon forgot he had a dick and what to do with it. All he cared about was Jin hyung. Our Namjoonie here fell hard ladies and gentlemen. And not just for the handsome face, as difficult as that is to believe. I mean, look at Jin
Hyung." Hobi gestured to his face and Jin hyung instantly blushed a furious red. "I still remember him, in the studio all starry eyed. 'His brain Hobah. It is so fascinating. He said the most amazing thing yesterday.' And then he'd quote a truly amazing thing Jin Hyung had said.
Then he'd sigh about how beautiful Hyung's eyes were and that's when I knew. The fuckboy cause had lost on of its most dedicated soldiers." Hobi hyung paused to give his audience ample time to coo and cry. "The Namjoon we see here today is not the one I knew 5 years ago.
You've changed him Jin Hyung, there's no denying that. But boy is this an improvement. You kept all his best parts, polished them, and now they shine. You took all his rough edges and smoothed him out. Our Namjoonie here doesn't have to hide behind his books, and moody music and
one night stands anymore. He is free to smile, write all those sappy love songs he keeps trying to get me to perform. He's now free to love, and there's only ever one person he's loved this way. Without fear and with abandon." Hobi hyung's voice trailed off and Jungkook swore he
looked at Yoongi as he said the next line. "That's more than I can say for myself." He snapped out of it quickly though, turning to the grooms and picking his glass up. "I know this was suppossed to be Namjoon's Best Man's speech but I want to raise a glass to Jin Hyung.
For being an amazing partner, an amazing hyung and a beautiful human. For smoothing out this idiot's edges and turning him into love. And that's a direct quote from Namjoon's lyrics, all of whom he now writes for his fiance. To Jin Hyung" The hall erupted in cheers as Jin hyung
got off his chair a second time to hug Hobi hyung. He wanted this, someday, Jungkook realized as hugs were exchanged all around and people settled in to finish their desserts. He wanted a love story people gave speeches about at his wedding. He wanted a whole shebang. He just
needed to figure out who he wanted it with.

Jungkook took in a deep breath. He was 𝑛𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑜𝑢𝑠 but that was to be expected. It was a big day. He knocked once and then entered the suite. He had gone to do one final run through of the wedding hall. It looked sublime. The first guests had begun to filter in. It was go time
"Jungoo-ah!" Jin hyung turned around from the mirror he had been facing to beckon him over. "Tell me honestly this suit is working. I have a backup blue one I can change to. Yoongi-chi here is being useless per usual" Yoongi hyung who was sitting in the arm chair, dressed in a
burgundy suit himself, scoffed.
"Just because I am telling the truth, I am useless." Jin hyung's suit was black and it was gorgeous. He looked every bit as stunning as he normally did, except he was 𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔.
"You look incredible hyung" Jungkook told him honestly as they
both turn to look at the mirror. Jin hyung bit his bottom lip, adjusting his bow tie. He then fixed his already impeccable hair for some reason. "Hey hyung." Jungkook turned him around by his shoulders. "You look great. Namjoon hyung will fall in love again, I promise" Jin hyung
instantly colored, letting out an under breath 'aish'. Jungkook could feel his throat closing up, all the emotions running through him. "I'm sorry I almost ruined this whole thing for you hyung." Jin hyung's eyes softened, the nerves settling for a minute. He shook his head,
cupping Jungkook's cheek. "No. You came, that's all I care about. It meant everything having my baby brother with me. I love you" With that he pulled a crying Jungkook into a tight hug. One that Jungkook returned with all his strength.
"Love you more hyung"
A knock on the suite door made them disentangle and Jungkook noted that Jin hyung had shed some tears too. Jimin poked his head in, his pink hair artfully swept off his forehead. He was MC-ing the ceremony. "We're ready for you hyung" He beamed into the room. Jin hyung took in a
shuddering breath and nodded. Yoongi hyung stood up from his perch. "Ready hyung?" He smiled at his best friend. Jin hyung took Jungkook's hand and squeezed.
"Ready."
💍💍💍
The entrance hall was empty of guests but it wasn't totally empty. A handful of people were loitering
about when they entered. All eyes turned to them. Jungkook looked at his brother who had predictable zeroed in on his fiance. Namjoon hyung looked... god-ike, Jungkook had no other words for it. His suit was black too but he had chose to skip a crisp white shirt in favor of a
black tunic. Jungkook should have known him and Hobi hyung combined would come up with something amazing. Jin hyung let his hand go as he approached his fiance who was already walking towards them. Jungkook looked around to find Mrs. Kim smiling at the pair, Mr. Kim there but
looking extremely uncomfortable. Jimin and Yoongi hyung were already disappearing inside the hall, where Hobi hyung must be. Finally, Jungkook allowed himself to look at Tae. His suit was grey and fit to the T. He had parted his unruly hair down the center and they fell in soft
curls around his face. Jungkook was so awestruck, he completely missed that everyone was taking their places. Mr and Mrs. Kim had linked arms in front of him. Behind him, the grooms had held hands. Oh right. He had to walk in with the man he had been ogling.
𝐹𝑜𝑐𝑢𝑠 𝐽𝑢𝑛𝑔𝑘𝑜𝑜𝑘 he chided himself as he straightened beside Taehyung. The doors to the hall opened and they walked in to applause. Jimin announced them one by one and slipped in his charming one-liners, making the audience giggle. Tae got to the stage, bowed to
everyone and then broke formation. Hobi hyung handed him his camera from the front row and he took position. Jungkook watched his brother and the love of his life bow to their officiant. Watched with honest to God tears running down his face as they said their 'I do's.
Jungkook thought of all the times he had spent getting taken care of by his brother, his only family as said brother turned with teary eyes and a beam to his now husband. Jungkook thought of his late parents, as Jimin came over to put an arm around his shoulder and Tae's shutter
went off for the millionth time. Jungkook laughed through his tears as his brother kissed his husband. And then Namjoon lifted Jin hyung off the ground to kiss him harder and spun him around. The officiant bowed and left. The parents gave their blessings as the crowd cheered and
moved off to the buffet and dance floor. Jungkook got up to the couple as Tae released them from his hug. There was a line, Hobi and Yoongi hyung at the head of it. "Congratulations" Jungkook's voice came out gravelly but he smiled and got pulled into a crushing hug by his
brother.
"I'll take good care of him. I promise" Namjoon hyung whispered to Jungkook as he hugged him next. Jungkook had no doubt about that. He broke away to match Namjoon hyung's dazzling smile. Jungkook couldn't remember living through a happier day.
💍💍💍
"Care to dance?" Jungkook smiled, leaving his dessert on the buffet table to turn around.
"Thought you'd never ask" Jimin beamed, eyes disappearing into crescents. He held a hand out that Jungkook took. It was wise to let the professional dancer lead proceedings. The song
was a slow sensual one and Jimin settled with his chin on Jungkook's shoulders as he moved the moved of them. Jungkook could see Hobi hyung laughing and dancing with Jackson. Yoongi hyung was dancing with Mrs. Kim. The grooms and Tae were nowhere around. Probably still not done
with the photoshoot.
"What are you thinking hyung?" Jungkook asked over the music. Jimin took his time before replying.
"Just how much I will miss everyone once I go back to Busan." Jungkook hadn't thought of this. Of going back. Yet.
"You should move to Seoul. Be near everyone"
Jimin snorted. "You're one to talk, Mr. New York." He separated a little, only to twirl Jungkook and set his chin back in place. Fair point, Jungkook had to admit. "Talked to Tae yet?" Jungkook closed his eyes, sighing.
"No." Jimin tutted, leaning back to fix him with a glare.
"Why are you being such a chicken? I know you want this" Jungkook couldn't help it. He reached and tucked a strand of hair behind Jimin's hair. The song changed but they stayed in their slow rhythm.
"What do 𝑦𝑜𝑢 want Jimin-ssi?" Jimin gulped. "Why did you kiss me that night?"
"Because I couldn't help it. Like I couldn't help showing up to your door all those years ago, even when I knew I was too late." Jungkook felt his heart hammer in his chest, all the memories of loving Jimin running through his mind.
"You're not over me?" Jimin lowered his gaze.
Shook his head. And then looked up with a steely determination in his gaze.
"But I will be. I'll be fine Jungkook. Maybe I will move to Seoul. But you don't need to worry about me. Go get what you want" He poked Jungkook's chest with a finger. Oh how Jungkook loved those fiery
eyes.
"I did love you a lot hyung. Still do." Jimin smiled. And leaned forwards to kiss his cheek.
"Me too. But it's time to move on Jungkookie. Our song has ended" He stepped away. With a last squeeze to Jungkook's hand, Jimin slipped away through the crowd.
💍💍💍
It took a while, but eventually Jungkook found him. Sitting at a table, pointing his camera into the crowd. Workaholic, he thought to himself as he approached.
"There you are" He announced as he fell into the seat beside Tae at the table. Tae started, but relaxed when he saw it
was Jungkook. At this proximity Jungkook could see what Tae had been capturing. He should have recognized the song. The grooms had finally found time for their dance. They were just swaying, to a soft hip hop song but it worked. Namjoon hyung had his nose hidden in Jin hyung's
hair, jacket off and sleeves rolled up.
"Hey" Tae replied. He sounded neutral. Careful.
"I wanted to say sorry." Jungkook decided to cut the chase. No lead up or small talk. "I've hurt you badly. Twice now and you deserve better." In front of them Jin hyung pried his face off
look into his husband's eyes.
"It's my fault. This was not supposed to involve feelings." Tae looked at the table, fiddling with his camera.
"I involved feelings too. L-word feelings" Tae turned to gape at Jungkook. There. He had said it. Been brave.
"L-word?" Tae whispered.
Jungkook nodded. "But... but you're going back to America" Jungkook took in a deep breath.
"I have a month before the movie begins shooting. I want to stay in Seoul. With you. If you'll have me" Tae seemed shocked and who could blame him. Jungkook chanced a glance at the
newlyweds. Who had progressed to softly making out as they danced. Just exchanging soft pecks and smiling and whispering in between.
"I want to do this right this time Taehyung. I want to take our time. No hiding, no jumping into bed to deflect from feelings. I want to commit."
"You hate commitment." Tae pointed out. "You like being able to go places at a whim. You like freedom" He sounded fond and it warmed Jungkook's heart. The grooms' making out had gotten a little passionate now, definitely no longer innocent.
"So do you. Maybe it's not about one
having to be left behind. Why can't we go together?" Jungkook looked at Tae. Extended a hand to him on the table, palm up. "What do you say? Want to fly with me Tae?" Tae smiled, his signature boxy grin and interlaced his fingers with Jungkook's. He nodded and Jungkook's heart
whooped. When they looked back to the dance floor the grooms had disappeared. Goodbye abstinence rule.

Final A comedy of exes update. Let's get it.
#namjin #namjinau
"Are we sure they're back?" Tae's voice was a mix of worried and exasperated and honestly, thought Jungkook, same. They had been ringing the bell for a solid minute now and no one had beeped them in.
"50th time the charm" Jungkook shrugged and pressed the buzzer again. There was
a charm to the 50th time apparently because the door to the loft beeped open. Stood by the intercom, was Jin hyung's ghost. It had to be a ghost there was no way that was actually Jungkook's brother.
"What. The. Fuck. Are you both doing here?" Okay maybe he was a zombie?
His voice sure sounded raspy enough to belong to one. With a worried exchange of glances with Tae, Jungkook led the way in to the apartment. "Hey hyung, we came to meet you guys" Jin hyung levelled him with a death glare. He looked 𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒. There were bags under his eyes
. He was dressed in mismatching pajamas, the shirt definitely did not belong to him. His hair was more unkept that Jungkook had ever seen it, and he had grown up with the man. "You couldn't wait 24 hours?" He grumbled, leading the way to the kitchen. They couldn't actually.
"What happened hyung?" Tae was the first to voice his concern. Jin hyung fell into a seat on one side of the counter while Jungkook joined Tae on the other side.
"What happened is me and Joonie got sick. It's our fault really" Jin hyung paused to cough his lungs out.
"We went from the freezing mountains to honeymoon in literal Bali. And it was glorious and we loved it. But then we landed back in Seoul this morning and it was SO COLD AGAIN. Our bodies malfunctioned." Another coughing fit before Jin hyung eyed them suspiciously. "What are you
both doing here together?" Tae cleared his throat and put on an impressive brave face.
"That's what we couldn't wait to tell you guys. But we need both. Where's hyung?" Jin hyung scoffed.
"Dead. He's worse than me, you can't wake him." Taehyung got up from his stool with a
determined expression. "I have a few tricks up my sleeve" With a wink for Jungkook, he disappeared towards the master bedroom. Jungkook found Jin hyung staring at him.
"So. You're still here" Right. He literally had told no one about his plans to stay behind.
"You'd have known
that if you hadn't ditched everyone and run off to Bali with your husband" Jungkook countered. Jin hyung sighed.
"Look, we didn't want to get sucked into any messes. Speaking of, how are Yoongi and Hobi? Did they make up?" Oh wow. These two lovebirds really had said fuck you to
everyone and spent the past whole month in paradise. Good for them, good for them.
"They've reached a compromise. They talked things over, calmly. Now the plan is Yoongi hyung will not keep his hopes up for marriage or anything just yet. In return Hobi hyung has agreed to give
living together a shot" Jin hyung processed that, his brain no doubt slowed down by cold medicine.
"Hobi living with someone else. Whoa that's major" Jungkook nodded just as Tae reappeared in the kitchen.
"Emotional blackmail successful. He'll be right out" He set a phone on the
counter. "This was lying in the hall" Jin hyung tutted but then perked up somewhat.
"Oh you guys wanna see the photos while we wait for Joonie's corpse?" Taehyung nodded his excited agreement next to Jungkook who also said a 'hell yeah'. Jin hyung unlocked the phone and handed it
to them after navigating a bit. "Ok I haven't sorted through these so don't panic if there are any spicy ones in there" He warned before setting his head on the counter with a groan. Tae began to swipe through the photos. They were gorgeous. The sun was out and featuring majorly
in all of them. Lots of shirtless tanned pictures, lots of margaritas. Even Jin hyung's pale skin had a healthy tan to it. And he was grinning like a sap in all of them, so was his husband. There were selfies on the beach, in a hammock, even some in bed. No nudity, Jungkook
thanked the heavens. At the very end was a video. The thumbnail was of the both of them in bed. Taehyung pressed play which Jungkook thought was very unwise. He did not want to accidentally see a homemade sextape starring his brother. The video played and Jungkook held his breath
Namjoon hyung was making the video in selfie mode. He looked gorgeously tanned, more so against the white bedsheets. Jin hyung was asleep, snuggled into his husband's chest. They looked to be wearing matching pajamas. Ugh cute. "Jinnie. It's 8. Get up." The Jin hyung sitting in
front of them looked up from the table, with raised eyebrows as the one in the video whimpered and mumbled 'no'. "Let me see, I haven't seen this" Tae turned the phone so that they could all see and then pressed play again. "No? But we had to take a walk." Namjoon hyung spoke. He
was carding his fingers in Jin hyung's fading purple hair. Jin hyung shook his head. "Why not?" Jin hyung had not opened his eyes yet. He looked like an adorable dumpling, his one cheek smushed against Namjoon's chest and the other faced to the camera. "Then we'll have to go back
The Jin hyung in the kitchen let out an embarrassed 'aish' at this as Tae cooed. The Namjoon in the video seemed to agree with as much because his eyes glittered where he was looking at Jin hyung on the screen. "But we'll still have each other when we get back"
"Other people"
Was Jin hyung's only reply, not fully awake as he was. Namjoon's smiled deepened at this. "Someday we'll get you over your fear of other people"
"Not today" For a few seconds nothing happened in the video except for Jin hyung evenly breathing and Namjoon playing with his hair.
Until.."I love you" And the Jin hyung in the video who Jungkook was so sure had fully gone back to sleep, smiled. Snuggled some more. The video ended just as Namjoon hyung pressed his lips to his husband's forehead.
"I can't believe you guys." Tae demanded, a little furious.
"So. Damn. Cute." Jin hyung laughed which nearly masked the sound of dragged footsteps entering the kitchen. Corpse had been the right word, Jungkook thought, not without a little alarm. Namjoon hyung was slouched over and his movement was sluggish. His appearance was as bad as
his husband's. Jungkook felt a pang of guilt for bothering them a mere 6 hours after they had gotten back. But this was important and 𝑢𝑟𝑔𝑒𝑛𝑡. Namjoon hyung had a blanket in his arms which he unrolled and draped around his husband, who had been rubbing his arms from the cold
sitting in just his pajamas, Jungkook had noticed. Then Namjoon hyung collapsed on a stool beside him. Jin hyung kissed his hair as he set his forehead on his shoulder. Jin hyung frowned leaning back.
"Tch. Your fever is getting worse" Namjoon hyung whined in a very un-Namjoon
way. "Explains why I feel like shit." Jin hyung rewarded him with another kiss.
"Let's listen to whatever these idiots have to say and then I'll get you some meds. And we'll nap for like a whole day or something." That was enough apparently for Namjoon to look up and the both of
them. Jungkook felt the nerves bubble up in him.
"Well? What's the emergency?" Here goes.
"So. I finally have to return to the US tomorrow." The newly weds nodded, urging him to go on.
"And I was thinking. I will go with him" Tae supplied. Namjoon hyung frowned.
"Umm why?"
"Because" Jin hyung's eyes were boring into Jungkook's skull but he soldiered on. "We've been dating. Properly. Ever since the wedding"
"And we want to keep doing that. Hence the going to America" They were nailing the teamwork perfectly. Jungkook reached for Tae's hand under
the counter and squeezed. The couple before them remained shock for a moment before Jin hyung coughed again.
"That's uhh very nice boys but one month and you're moving in together?"
"In America at that?" Namjoon hyung added incredulously.
"Hyung." Tae called to get his
attention. "We want to commit to this fully. Long distance will just cause more mess. I've found an apprenticeship with a great photographer in LA. It's all working out." Namjoon hyung looked unconvinced.
"You'll be all alone, miles away in a foreign country. No one to fall on if
you both mess it up again"
"We won't" Jungkook piped up. "Even if things fall out, we've promised to be there for each other. We won't abandon the other" Jin hyung bit his lip but Namjoon hyung was still frowning. This was bad. Tae would never go if his brother wasn't on board
with it.
"I don't like this" Namjoon hyung said looking directly at Tae.
"A very wise person once told me" Jin hyung began. Namjoon hyung turned to him. "You have to let him go Jinnie. He'll always be our little one, but let him find his way, he'll be fine." Namjoon hyung
narrowed his eyes at his husband. "Looks like someone needs to heed their own advice" There was a triumphant sparkle in Jin hyung's eyes and Jungkook felt hope flutter in him.
"They'll mess up and come crying again" Namjoon hyung said to his husband, ignoring the two people he
was talking about. Jin hyung nodded.
"They might. But we can't stop them from living their life. Let them go." Namjoon hyung turned to the pair of them. Tae's hand had Jungkook's in a death grip.
"Fine. You can go." Tae honest to God whooped, jumping off his chair.
"Thank you hyung. We'll not disappoint" Namjoon hyung smiled at him albeit tiredly, pulling Jin hyung into a sideways hug.
"Just take care of each other"
"And please get out of our apartment now, we need to rest" Jungkook personally didn't need to be told twice.
He had a life to live. He couldn't wait.

They had found their rhythm, or so Seokjin thought. He would wake up first, ruing the day he decided to opt for a career in business. Then he'd go over and wake up his kid, who rued the day she got old enough to be enrolled in kindergarten. They'd wash their faces and get
breakfast together. Then Seokjin would set her virtual classroom for her on the ipad and finally give his husband a shout to wake him before heading off to his first meeting of the day. Namjoon took it over from there. Kept an eye on Moonie as she went about her classes, made

Should I maybe 👀 write this 👀? ImageImage
It was good to be back home. The city where he was born in. Where he belonged. He had been back a week already. Had seen his parents, met up with his family. Yet Ken could not say he had achieved his purpose for returning. The text he had sent on the first day of his return.
Remained unanswered. A week was enough time. He poured himself a drink. A strong drink. And he dialled the number. It rang a couple of times before it was received. Ken's heart dropped into his stomach when he heard the voice. The deep, throaty voice. Always demanding to be heard
