Oh neat Facebook approved Jim Watkins' QAnon super PAC's Facebook page to run political ads. opensecrets.org/political-acti…
Twitter suspended the super PAC's account but the Facebook page is still up and has been steadily gaining likes even though the page hasn't posted since August 2020 and only made 5 posts total before then.
The QAnon super PAC was apparently a massive fail last year but their Facebook page continues to grow despite zero activity. washingtonmonthly.com/2020/11/18/the…
It might also be a good time to reflect on how someone like Jim Watkins can just set up a super PAC and launch political ads. I mean by all means drag Facebook and shoot Facebook ads into the sun, but feels like there's a bigger, structural problem here.

My previous thread/reply to @guyro explaining why fake likes are Actually Very Bad and should have been a priority to remove.
I published this in December 2017 and was floored at the response it got from people in Honduras, the blog currently has over 11K views. The same activity was happening across multiple platforms and it was blatant.

Glenn Greenwald, king of the strawman, defender of "powerless" Proud Boys. When these folks are your top blog referrals, maybe it's time to rethink your life choices.
He really wrote over 3000 words without mentioning who Biggs & Pezzola are. Seems like important context. 🤔 I bet an editor would have pointed out how it's dishonest to omit those details.

The Honduran hall of mirrors is filling up Instagram with sycophantic pro-JOH memes, same as Twitter.
"The connection to the Honduran leader was made, Zhang said, because an administrator for the president’s Facebook page had been 'happily running hundreds of these fake assets without any obfuscation whatsoever in a show of extreme chutzpah.'"

Important case happening now that implicates the current Honduran president in major drug trafficking and predictably, the Honduran hall of mirrors has been tweeting a pro-JOH hashtag: YoCreoEnJOH (I believe in JOH). It was trending earlier today in Guatemala.
