He is as tone deaf as you. expect: The Republican stood by the use of the images. From Earls’ campaign: “Arlington is not just part of my history, it’s part of our American history — a story that must be told. The sacrifices of our fallen and their families who fought for..." (2)
"...ALL of us should never be forgotten, and should inspire us to seek what unites us instead of this strangling divide so many have given into.” So...that's just gibberish. He is saying he has a RIGHT to use the grief of military families for his campaign. No, you don't. (3)
I've learned a lot about Harold. A number of his former soldiers and West Point classmates have reached out to me. This is who he is. Clueless, self centered jerk who has always put himself in front of his service. The uniform and even the Tomb of the Unknown are props. (4)
He's going to tell the people of Georgia what a hero he is. How he sacrificed. How he climbed Mount Everest (whoo...wait until you hear the backstory there) but its always been about feeding his Influencer life and not serving. Now he breaks DoD regs and doesn't care. (5)
We aren't mad at you because of your politics, Harold. We are angry because you chose our most sacred ground to be nothing but a backdrop for your fame and clicks. You won't be a Congressman. You don't use our grief and loss for your gain. (6)
