|| Hanuman ||- A secret to the deeper cosmic energy~ thread
Did you know “Hanuman” the God from Ramayan whom we all revere with devotion isn’t just a God of form but holds the secret to our deeper cosmic energy and a key to higher intelligence?
VAYU PUTRA Hanuman symbolically
represents the three subtle bodies, namely the breath body, the mental body and the intelligence body.
“ All that exists in the 3 worlds rests in the control of PRANA. As a mother protects her children, O Prana, protect us & give us splendour and Wisdom - Prashnopanishad 2.13 ”
The breath body is responsible for the movement of life energy or PRANA in our bodies.
PRANA- The Primary energy
The life that we breath “Prana” is a manifestation of VAYU at an individual level. Prana has many levels of meaning, from the physical breath to the energy of
consciousness itself.Prana is not only the basic life-force,it is the original creative power. It is the master form of all energy. Our entire universe is a manifestation of Prana.
Let us be aware that there's a deeper energy that runs everything in the universe on a cosmic level
This is called “Vayu”.Though Vayu technically is air element, it basically is the profound “Kriya shakti” or power of action that governs all inanimate and animate forces. Vayu manifests itself as propulsive force (Vidyut) in the form of kinetic energy, the energy that permeates
all space, the energy dormant in the sub-atomic level & the whole universe as well. - “YOGA” is all about tapping into this energy.
The Cosmic Vayu is inherently a force of intelligence linking us to the cosmic mind that aligns all minds together in an interconnected network of
thought. Hence Hanuman represents the discriminating inner intelligence that reveals the highest truth.
COSMIC VAYU, THE POWER OF YOGA and “OM” -
The cosmic Vayu is the true power of yoga. It is vayu that gives flexibility of body, vitality, will power and concentration of mind
Our highest prana is to reach out merge into the immortal prana, which is to dedicate ourselves as Hanuman to Rama. Vayu’s vibration is OM or Pranava, the primal sound behind all creation. Hence, Hanuman represents the cosmic “Vayu”.
HANUMAN- THE DEVOTION ITSELF
Hanuman surrendered to the divine within in the form of Rama. He had the ability to control the senses and vital urges- all subordinate to a
higher will power and aspiration. Hanuman is indeed the life-force, the strength, the DEVOTION itself and leads us towards “Gnana” the primal truth.
When Rama’s time of death was at hand, Hanuman barred Yama (the god of death) from claiming him.
There is a story in Padma Puranam which describe this event.
Yamraj tried many times but was unable to reach Ram and take away his life because Hanuman guarded Ram's life. Ram understood the problem Yamraj was facing and decided to trick Hanuman.
Lord Ram dropped his ring. The ring fell into a crack in the floor.
Ram then asked Hanuman to go and fetch the ring. Hanuman could change his large body into as small as a fly. So he jumped into crack. He followed the crack until he reached patal-loka.
When he reached patal-loka he was greeted by king of snakes Vasuki.
