After the US revolutionary movements of the 1960s, many ex leftists turned into liberal imperialist Democrats

In real time, we can now see 2010s Occupy/Bernie-era leftists turning into the new generation of Democrats. They think they're changing the party, but it's changing them
Biden is:
-expanding war on Yemen & Syria
-continuing Trump's coup in Venezuela
-backing Haiti's dictatorship & Israeli apartheid
-throwing migrant kids in camps
-accelerating cold war on China/Russia

This "shift to the left" only exists in the fever dreams of NGO/media liberals
You can only convince yourself Biden is "shifting left" if you ignore international policy and fixate on a few domestic policies.

The US empire is even more aggressive and criminal abroad. The intersectional imperialists in the Democratic Party are just doing marketing at home.
I don't buy that the Democratic Party is "realigning." In fact all the evidence shows it is becoming even more right-wing economically.

I think what's actually happening is there is a new cold war on China & Russia, and military Keynesianism / "Cold War social democracy" is back

The conflict in Myanmar is already militarized. Armed insurgents are waging war on the military.

This is a pro-opposition publication funded by European govts, admitting rebels in NW Myanmar have assault rifles and grenades, and are taking police hostages
frontiermyanmar.net/en/the-tumi-re…
Western meddling is pushing Myanmar into a civil war, which could destabilize SE Asia

10 ethnic militias in Myanmar have joined together to support the insurgency against the military

This is extremely dangerous, and could lead to another Syria-style war

This European government-funded media outlet is promoting further violence in Myanmar, which could push the country toward civil war.

It is publishing PR articles encouraging people to join separatist ethnic militias that are waging war on the military

Venezuelan businessman Alex Saab (who circumvents criminal US sanctions to help the gov't provide food boxes for the Venezuelan people) was detained in Cape Verde under US orders.

He says he was tortured and forced to sign a "voluntary" extradition order
orinocotribune.com/alex-saab-i-wa…
The US empire has gone to such extreme depths to try to starve millions of Venezuelans into submission -- from a murderous blockade of the country to several rounds of criminal sanctions on the govt's CLAP food program.

These are crimes against humanity

The US rogue regime illegally stole billions of dollars from Venezuela's elected, internationally recognized government and Washington is preventing Caracas from using that money to buy Covid-19 vaccines for its people

Ecuador's fake "eco-left" candidate Yaku Perez was a key factor in getting right-wing banker Guillermo Lasso elected.

Roughly half of Ecuadorians who voted for Yaku in the 1st round voted null in the 2nd

c. 40% voted for Lasso

Only c. 7% voted for Arauz
thegrayzone.com/2021/02/06/yak…
The running mate of Ecuador's "environmental" candidate Yaku Perez — Virna Cedeño, VP candidate of US-backed fake "ecosocialist" party Pachakutik @PKnacional18 — openly endorsed right-wing banker Guillermo Lasso.

"eCosoCIAlisTs" for neoliberal imperialism

Ecuador's Western NGO-backed group @CONAIE_Ecuador called for voting null in the presidential election -- a main factor in getting right-wing banker Lasso elected.

Its political arm Pachakutik even expelled leader Jaime Vargas for endorsing leftist Arauz

The biggest surprise of the night is in Peru, where presidential election exit polls show Pedro Castillo, who had been seventh in earlier polls, unexpectedly came in first place.

Castillo is an activist and organizer of a major strike, from an anti-imperialist socialist party
This is the leader of the party whose candidate Pedro Castillo came in first in Peru's election tonight: "Perú Libre is a party of the socialist left, in a neoliberal ocean," which is attacked "not only by the right but also by the revisionist pseudo-left"
The Perú Libre party of Peru's first-place presidential candidate Pedro Castillo is firmly anti-imperialist.

It has condemned the US coup attempts against Venezuela, pointing out that the Chavista government of President Maduro was democratically elected

The existence of Prince Philip was the most compelling evidence that the parasitic colonialists in the British royal family really are lizard people
Regular reminder that the British royal family is full of Nazi sympathizers who praised Hitler and Mussolini as allies against communism, and the sooner the monarchy is abolished the better for humanity
The UK monarchy is led by a monster who was raised to Nazi salute as a child.

The Third Reich and the British empire had a lot in common. The genocidal crimes the UK committed against its colonial subjects abroad is what Hitler did to people within Europe

Basically all English-language media reports on the death toll in Myanmar are based on unverifiable claims by a pro-Western opposition group, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), which is supported by the US govt's NED, a CIA cutout
ned.org/fellows/ko-bo-…
There are a lot of parallels between Syria and Myanmar. For years, Western media reporting on Syria has also reported death tolls by uncritically regurgitating unverifiable statistics from a UK govt-funded, UK-based opposition group called the SOHR

Nothing to see here, it's extremely normal for "peaceful pro-democracy protesters" to attack and burn down Chinese factories

(This AP article is also careful to note that Taiwanese and South Korean factories in Myanmar have not been purposefully targeted)
