@kim_siever What Whites did to Asians and Africans for 300 years and what Japan did in Taiwan, Korea and the South Sea Islands are completely different.
Don't use Japan to justify the colonization of Asians Africans by Whites.
@kim_siever No country that was a Western colony is an industrial country. Because a colony is to use the local people as mere labor force without giving them any education.
@kim_siever Annexation means to treat the local people as citizens. In comparison, now Taiwan and Korea are the world's leading industrial nations. Because Japan educated them as it'scitizens.
@kim_siever Japan ruled Taiwan for 50 years and Korea for 35 years.
But unlike Korea, Japan has always maintained very good relations with Taiwan, Palau and other South Sea countries.
Have you ever wondered about it?
@kim_siever
When Japan defeated Russia in the Russo-Japanese War, more than one million Koreans sent telegrams to Japan pleading for annexation to Japan.
This was the beginning of the annexation.
@kim_siever But a Korean man assassinated former Japanese Prime Minister Hirobumi Ito, who had opposed the annexation of Korea and the annexation was accelerated
@kim_siever It was Japan who introduced Hangeul for the education of the Koreans, 90% of whom were illiterate.
Hangeul was arranged Mongolian script Phags-pa by King Sejong.
But the nobles made fun of it and did not use it.They are using Chinese characters. The commoners were illiterate.
@kim_siever Prior to Japan's annexation of Korea, 90% of Koreans were illiterate. The reason why Korea could not modernize on its own was because the Korean commoners were illiterate.
Koreans attended schools for the first time during the Japanese era.
@kim_siever Japan even established a university for Koreans.
It is now Seoul National University.

Japan provided all of Korea's infrastructure, sanitation, and education to the Koreans, doubling the population of Koreans whose average life expectancy was 26 years.
@kim_siever Although Koreans were allowed to travel to Japan, there were no restrictions on the social mobility of Koreans in Korea.

Since there was no industry in Korea and Japanese built all the factories in Korea, it is not surprising that 94% of the capital was owned by the Japanese.
@kim_siever
Japan never forced Koreans to go to shrines.
The fact that many Koreans are now Christians is a result of post-WW2 U.S. rule, and although there was Confucianism, there was no religion unique to Korea.
@kim_siever Then why didn't the Taiwanese change their names to Japanese?
Koreans who wanted to do business in Manchuria petitioned the Governor-General of Korea for Japanese names because the Chinese in Manchuria would make fun of them under Korean names.
@kim_siever Koreans said, "Koreans are part of Japanese, but not being able to use Japanese name is discrimination."

In the first place, it was Japan that abolished slavery in Korea. In Korea, slaves were objects to be traded.
@kim_siever Before Japan era, 40% of Koreans were slaves without a family name.
Japan abolished slavery, gave the slaves family names, and granted them citizenship.
@kim_siever The Governor-General of Korea warned them repeatedly in the official gazette and newspapers.
"It allowed Koreans to change their names to Japanese names, but did not force to do so. You Koreans must not misunderstand it."
@kim_siever As a result, some Koreans changed their names to Japanese names.
But there were many Koreans who became governors, politicians, and military officers under Korean names, and some even became politicians in Japan.
@kim_siever
You are making China’s claim.

From Hokkaido to Okinawa, the Japanese are descended from the Jomon people.
This is proven by our DNA.
The Okinawan dialect still retains the ancient Japanese language.
@kim_siever U.S. Navy Admiral Perry entered Shuri Castle and gave the King of Ryukyu(nowOkinawa) a letter from the U.S. President to force him to open the country.
@kim_siever The Ryukyu Islands had been a dependency of the Satsuma clan Japan since 1609, but Perry stopped by Ryukyu again to demand opening the country on his way back to the US after signing the Treaty of Amity between the US and Japan.
@kim_siever The Japanese government began to treat the Ryukyu Kingdom, which had previously been treated as a dependency of the Satsuma Domain, as a Japanese territory, and in 1872, the Ryukyu Kingdom was made Ryukyu clan.
@kim_siever By making it a clan, it appealed to the outside world that the Ryukyu Islands were part of Japan.

Did you know?
Around the time Japan annexed Korea by treaty, the US overpowered Hawaii by force and killed the Queen of Hawaii.
@kim_siever If Japan had not claimed the Ryukyu, Okinawa would have also been suppressed by the US by force.

And the Ryukyu Kingdom was also a feudal society with a tight status system.
The red soil was not suitable for agriculture, and storms came every year, causing great damage to crops.
@kim_siever However, the Ryukyu nobles did not work, but lived a luxurious life by exploiting the farmers.
In particular, Yaeyama island and Miyako island were forced to pay a capitation tax, an excessive exploitation from the Ryukyu Kingdom.
@kim_siever Taiwan had never been part of China.
When Japanese fishermen drifted to Taiwan and were killed by the natives, and Japan protested to the Qing, the Qing government said that Taiwan was not Qing territory.
@kim_siever In addition, 85% of the DNA of Taiwanese today is not Han Chinese, and 15% is refugee Chinese who fled from China after WW2.
They are completely different ethnics.
@kim_siever As in Korea, Japan provided Taiwan's infrastructure, improved sanitary conditions, and educated the Taiwanese. The Japanese also establlished university in Taiwan. It is now the University of Taiwan.
@kim_siever The same is true for Micronesia.
🇵🇼The Palau flag is a different color from the Japanese flag🇯🇵.
If Japan had treated Palauans so badly, why did Palau adopt a different color of the Japanese flag as its national flag?
@kim_siever Although Palau is a small country, it is one of the few countries that has not severed diplomatic relations with Taiwan, which was also a Japanese territory.

Palau, Taiwan, and Japan are brother countries that have maintained very good relationship.
@kim_siever Parts of China and Russia..you mean Manchuria, right?
Manchuria was the ancestral land of the Manchus who ruled the Qing Dynasty.
Manchuria had never been the territory of any dynasty that existed in China before the Qing Dynasty.
@kim_siever The Manchu's Qing also had loose alliances with Tibet, Mongolia and the Uyghurs, just like the EU does today.
Each region used its own language, retained its own culture.
Uyghur, Tibet & Mongolia had never been the territories of any dynasty that existed in China before the Qing.
@kim_siever The Chinese were not allowed to enter Manchuria.

After the Qing Dynasty was weakened due to the dirty Opium wars by the British and collapsed , the Manchus returned to the land of their fathers.
Japan helped in its founding.
@kim_siever The West called Manchuria a puppet state of Japan, but Japan and Manchuria were brother countries, and the Japanese imperial family and the Manchu imperial family were related.
Manchuria was the most industrialized and beautiful country in the East Asia at that time.
@kim_siever That is why after WW2, Mao Zedong really wanted Manchuria to belong to the CCP.

After the collapse of the Qing dynasty in 1912, there was no unified government in the area called China until the founding of CCP in 1949.
@kim_siever Of course, CCP is not the successor state of Qing.
As proof of it, when the Americans demanded CCP that Qing's bonds be refunded, CCP refused, declaring that "CCP is not a successor state to the Qing.
@kim_siever After WW2, the Western victorious countries, ignorant of the history of the East Asia, gave Manchuria, Uyghur, Tibet and Inner Mongolia to CCP.
This was the cause of the Uyghur-Tibetan- Mongolian Manchurian Genocide.
@kim_siever
What is the the nation?

The US and Canada are artificial experimental nations.
A nation is built over a long period of time by people who share the same ethnicity, the same culture and the same history.
@kim_siever

When there is no shared culture or history, a nation can easily be devided.

Hate crimes often occur in the US and Canada because different races and ethnic groups are unnaturally placed in the same place.
@kim_siever The fact that CCP can easily genocde the Uyghurs and Tibetans, is proof that CCP does not consider them to be the same people.

Because when talking about Racism in Western societies, you used Japan's annexation of Korea as an example.
This is completely wrong as a metaphor.
@kim_siever You seem to be unable to understand that racism in your country is a completely different story from the choices made between 2 nations during the imperialist era.
@kim_siever The US annexed Hawaii by force.
But Japan did not annex Korea by force, but by Treaty.
This is completely different from the story of the West's armed conquest of Asia, Africa,South America

The United States had started a war against Japan without a declaration of war before Pearl Harbor.
Have you never heard of the Flying Tigers?
And not only Mao Zedong, but also Chiang Kai-shek was a Soviet dog.
Chiang Kai-shek's son, Chiang Ching-kuo, studied in the Soviet Union, married a Soviet woman who was a watchdog, and lived in the Soviet Union for a long time as a hostage.
Don’t you know that the Venona documents were deciphered in the 1990s?

There were over 300 Soviet spies in the Roosevelt administration, including Alger Hiss and Harry Dexter White.

Qatar's state-run broadcaster Al Jazeera tries to mislead news story that Japan will release ”contaminated water” into the ocean.
If the treated water, which has been lowered to 1/7th of the tritium concentration standard for drinking water set by WHO, cannot be released into the ocean, all countries in the world will not be able to discharge even tap water into the ocean.
Qatar's state-run broadcaster, Al Jazeera, spread South Korean propaganda about comfort women (wartime prostitutes) last month.

@Minervhan1 @Fuheng_H According to the "History of the Three Kingdoms," the founder of Goguryeo was Jumong.
He was a member of the Buyeo tribe, a Tungusic tribe, who moved from the north to the area around present-day Hwanin.
The Buryos, who founded Goguryeo, were a nomadic people of Tungusic descent.
@Minervhan1 @Fuheng_H Goguryeo was part of the Buyeo people, who were part of the Donghu people, and it was the Manchu people who inherited the Goguryeo lineage.

From 1000 to 5000 BC, the Korean Peninsula was uninhabited.
@Minervhan1 @Fuheng_H There, the Jomon people of Japan entered from the south, and the Tungusic people, ancestors of the Manchu people, entered from the north.
The southern tip of the Korean peninsula was under the direct control of Japan.

@TamimBinHamad Dear Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani

Al Jazeera's Twitter account "AJ+" has repeatedly published interviews with LeeYongsoo, a self-proclaimed Korean former comfort woman.

However, in 2020, it was revealed that Lee YongSoo, was not even a comfort woman
@TamimBinHamad I would like to make a complaint about the Qatari broadcaster ”Al Jazeera”.

Last year, executives of South Korean comfort women's organization was indicted for privately diverting donations collected for comfort women around the world and subsidies.

@TamimBinHamad The indicted executive, Yoon Meehyan, revealed about identity of Lee Yong-soo,the most famous comfort woman who testified in the UN & the US Congress .

"I remember the first time she called me. She said,
『I wasn't a comfort woman, but a friend of mine was』”
