Alex Salmond is now claiming that ALBA candidate Margaret Lynch did not, in fact, make any claims about LGBT organisations trying to lower the age of consent. There's just three small problems with that:

Firstly, multiple separate people who were attending the conference tweeted about it, then deleted afterwards when things kicked off. Unfortunately for them, people were quick to screenshot...

Second, when the news broke the Alba Party didn't immediately deny it. They DEFENDED it.

And finally, even if Lynch didn't make that claim, Neale Hanvey who is an Alba MP (sort of) certainly did, by sharing Wings' blog making the claim.

Up first, the @scottishgreens, who have focused on inclusive education, reforming the GRA, better trans healthcare and a ban on 'conversion therapy'.👍

SNP manifesto on LGBT rights is lighter on detail. No concrete proposals on what GRA reform looks like, and no reference any more to 'international best practice'. There are however promises on inclusive education and on supporting Westminster in banning conversion therapy.
