Update on "Modi Idli"
Q. Have you stopped Idli project
A : upto 6th April we were advised to stop due to election code , now we have put the project on temporary hold for a week more, as we are buying new equipments to improve fuel efficiency
Q : fuel efficiency
A : As per our last production , we were consuming close to 4 x 19 kg cylinders per day for sambar and idly production , so fuel expenses alone cost us around Rs 6K +/ day.
I was incurring a loss of Rs 7 to 10K per day

So we are trying some cost effective fuel source
Q: Cost effective
A : Yes we are trying a combination of solar and bricket based furnace to run our boilers , we have ordered the equipments and awaiting their arrival from Maharashtra
Q, You could have done it during this gap
A: I had to arrange funds ,took some time

Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand;

“Today my best friend slapped me in the face.”
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire & started drowning, but the friend saved him.After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone

“Today my best friend saved my life.”
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him

“After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”

The other friend replied;

“When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But,

In a small Italian town, hundreds of years ago, a small business owner owed a large sum of money to a loan-shark. The loan-shark was a very old, unattractive looking guy that just so happened to fancy the business owner’s daughter.

He decided to offer the businessman a deal
that would completely wipe out the debt he owed him. However, the catch was that we would only wipe out the debt if he could marry the businessman’s daughter.

Needless to say, this proposal was met with a look of disgust.

The loan-shark said that he would place two pebbles into
a bag, one white and one black.

The daughter would then have to reach into the bag and pick out a pebble. If it was black, the debt would be wiped, but the loan-shark would then marry her. If it was white, the debt would also be wiped, but the daughter wouldn’t have to marry

Few days ago i was in Yercaud, a dozen boys and girls sporting DMK colours saw us and mocked at me pointing at my Shika, i called them over had a chat , they were tom tomming about Tamil. I asked them to name " Kheer" in Tamil , invariably everyone replied "payasam"
I told them that the word " Payasam " is a Sanskrit word. They were taken aback , none of them had any idea about the Tamil Name for "Kheer", after 10 minutes of permutations and combinations they turned to me
" Uncle why dont you tell us " , even the word Uncle is not Tamil
The Tamil word for "Kheer" is " Thiru kan amudhu" , all the boys and girls were staring at each other, thats when i said " we Sanatanis are speaking pure Tamil for thousands of years ,even Shri.Ramanujacharya had advocated it, unlike you people who do lip service to Tamil

There once was a little boy who had a very bad temper. His father decided to hand him a bag of nails and said that every time the boy lost his temper, he had to hammer a nail into the fence.

On the first day, the boy hammered 37 nails into that fence.
The boy gradually began to control his temper over the next few weeks, and the number of nails he was hammering into the fence slowly decreased.

He discovered it was easier to control his temper than to hammer those nails into the fence.
Finally, the day came when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father the news and the father suggested that the boy should now pull out a nail every day he kept his temper under control.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father
