Manmohan Singh has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been admitted to AIIMS. Grapevine has it that the doctors have successfully isolated the virus. They're reasonably confident that the contact with MMS hasn't made the virus less virulent, impotent, or servile.
Not leaving anything to chances, the doctors placed the virus they had extracted from MMS in a vial next to a person who chanted, "Sat Sri Akal!" The virus showed no interest in that person.
The vial containing the virus was placed next to a taxi driver and a truck driver who proudly proclaimed that they've applied for asylum in Canada. The virus ignored them too.

This is heartening.
Indian medical authorities are heaving a sigh of relief that this virus will not travel via Guatemala and Mexico to Canada or America. At the same time, doctors also cautioned that the virus remains as potent as it had been and the vaccine-makers have their task cut out!
Please get vaccinated. There are no short cuts to get the virus out of the system or to export it.

The alleged exPM Manmohan Singh wrote an unsolicited letter to PM Modi in which he urged PM to allow the import of USmade vaccines.This despite the fact that India manufactures 60% of the world's vaccines and is best equipped to mobilize economies of scale to increase production.
Remember that GoI pays just INR 160 per vaccine. Contrast this with the US where the Big Pharma is paid between $ 38 and $ 93 per vaccine - that after the government funded R&D and trials.
The effect of Manmohan Singh's advocacy would be that American vaccines are imported and sold at exorbitant price in India while reinforcing the myth that they're superior to Indian-invented and manufactured vaccines - a myth the Congress party has disseminated.

Well, I have some news for you, you decide if it is good or bad. What you’ve been told about the Buddha is patently untrue.

A popular meme of 20th-century caste politics in India is the image of Gautama Buddha as some kind of a social reformer.
Bhimrao Ambedkar, the man who was instrumental in popularizing this rather misinformed narrative, once said,

ABC s of building a Church community form scratch...

Let me walk you through the steps as to how a church is set up in a small basti/ slum/ gudem/ hamlet... whatever we call it.

1. A pastor and his family moves into that locality.
They genuinely connect with a 4-5 people and find out all about them... all as in all.

2. They look for any stress points in that family and are waiting for a calamity to hit the family and the pastor and his family are there within seconds to do whatever it takes to help them
The distressed family gets out of the situation and the pastor suggests that the family have a "thanksgiving" prayer in the house .

3. All friends and relatives are invited for this "thanksgiving" prayer.
