Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who engaged rioters, suffered two strokes and died of natural causes, officials say

washingtonpost.com/local/public-s…
" Francisco J. Diaz, the medical examiner, said the autopsy found no evidence the 42-year-old officer suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants, which Diaz said would have caused Sicknick’s throat to quickly seize."
"Diaz also said there was no evidence of internal or external injuries....Diaz said he could not comment on whether Sicknick had a preexisting medical condition, citing privacy laws."
The corporate media lies to you constantly because they only care about pleasing the political ideology and flattering the preconceptions of their audience. Subtsack & similar platforms allow truth to be aired, which is why they hate it.

greenwald.substack.com/p/the-false-an…
There's no such thing as a "noble lie," especially in journalism. This particular fabrication made its way into the impeachment trial against Trump and out of Joe Biden's mouth. It was clear from the start it was highly dubious, but few journalists cared: it served its purpose.
I'll give an hour amnesty to all the group-think drones in corporate media who smeared everyone expressing doubts about the Sicknick Fire Extinguisher story as a "Sicknick Truther." Come forward voluntarily and honorably confront your latest in-group propaganda.
All the evidence was there from the start that the media lie (which emanated from NYT and then became unquestioned Truth: like the Russia Bounty story) was dubious. But anyone who flagged these was accused of being a pro-insurrectionist fascist, so "journalists" clung to the lie.
Dem Party loyalists pretending to be journalists is what's killing journalism. This is what they do to anyone who questions their lies. You have to not only have contempt for these people but be lucky enough so that their pitiful tactics don't affect you:

This is how Democrats posing as journalists have trained people to react if you refuse to echo their lies and instead insist on evidence: you're a racist, a fascist, a white nationalist, etc.

These people never gave the slightest shit about Brian Sickick. He was a toy to them: they needed to create a lie about how he died because he was the only one they could claim was killed by pro-Trump protesters. So they invented a harrowing story that was complete bullshit.
Find the journalists who prove they're willing and able to tell you the truth no matter the outcomes -- whoever that might be -- and support them. And realize the model of corporate media, their explicit model, is to lie: to please the political desires of their viewers/readers.
Look at what these media people are. They do it over and over. They only listen to the same set of liberal media outlets and follow one another on Twitter and they have no idea that it's even possible to question what's put in their brain:

This is what they do everyday. Please internalize what dishonest propagandists they are. They have zero capacity for critical thought and absolutely no integrity. The only care about serving DNC interests. Just look for yourself:
Buzzfeed is still toying with the tragic death of Officer Sicknick by continuing to push blatantly false propaganda:

THE POST: "The autopsy found no evidence the 42-year-old officer suffered an allergic reaction to chemical irritants." And yet:

My article on all this will be up shortly. What the media did here is staggering and revolting, even judging them by their lowly standards.

How do you look at yourself in the mirror knowing you did this, and keep doing it?
The Media Lied Repeatedly About Officer Brian Sicknick's Death. And They Just Got Caught.

greenwald.substack.com/p/the-media-li…
Just as with the Russia Bounty debacle, they will never acknowledge what they did. Their audience wants to be lied to -- are grateful for it -- for partisan gain and emotional pleasure, and that is why they prefer these media outlets *not* provide accountability or self-critique.
From the start, it was crucial for liberal sectors of the media to invent and disseminate a harrowing lie about how Officer Brian Sicknick died. That is because he is the only one they could claim was killed by pro-Trump protesters at the January 6 riot at the Capitol.
As I detailed over and over when reporting this, there were so many reasons to doubt this storyline from the start. A few others tried doing the same.

But anyone who questioned it was subjected to the standard smears: Truther, white nationalist, sympathizer for terrorists, etc.
But the truth usually prevails, at least ultimately, and today, their lies, yet again, all came crashing down on their heads. No blunt trauma. No signs of deaths from chemicals. Official ruling: died from *natural causes*.
Truth matters. Noble lies are never justified no matter the cause, especially in journalism. What is most depressing about this entire spectacle is that, this time, they exploited the tragic death of a young man to achieve their tawdry goals.

greenwald.substack.com/p/the-media-li…
This really isn't true. There wasn't "silence". Early reports said the autopsy found no blunt trauma. The family said he called that night & said he was fine. But if there was no info, why did MSNBC & CNN keep spreading the "Fire Extinguisher" lie???

Look at how often the media in unison spreads completely false stories like this in the most emotional and manipulative way possible.

This was the other story that just fell apart 48 hours ago. Maybe at some point it's time to start asking why it keeps happening?
Look at how these deeply unwell propagandists (this is the one who voluntarily ratted out her own source to FBI, which laughed at her, but journalists *cheered* her doing it) will continue to lie to conceal what they did. Everyone knows NYT peddled the "Fire Extinguisher"story:
As the NYT/MSNBC/CNN axis spread the "Fire Extinguisher" lie with great melodrama, there were journalists raising doubts about the story (I was far from alone).

But of course those dissents never got heard in NYT/CNN/MSNBC. They don't permit dissent. All closed systems lie.
There's a bigger problem here. There are good young journalists in all these places. But they know if you raise doubts about the lies these outlets are spewing, you'll be called a "Truther," a "white nationalist," "fascist," etc. Their careers will be ruined, so they stay silent.
The most amazing thing of all is these same outlets that keep drowning the country in lies and disinformation are the ones demanding ordinary citizens be censored from the internet because *they're* spreading disinformation.

The most Fake News, by far, is spread by these outlets
If you follow random smart people on Twitter, you'll be much better informed than if you watch MSNBC or CNN. Here's @AliceFromQueens in early February listing all the lies. How did she see them, but not these multi-millionaire liberal cable hosts?

I'll be on Fox at around 8:30 pm ET tonight -- 10 minutes from now -- to talk about the latest melodramatic media story to completely fall apart as a fraud: the "murder" of Officer Brian Sicknick by a pro-Trump mob. My article on it here:

Some journalists go to war zones. Some confront security state agencies and repressive regimes. Some uncover the fraudulent schemes of Wall Street tycoons. And then some bullies abuse the profession to harass and expose private, powerless people.

I wonder what this journalist would say if someone showed up uninvited at his door to "get his side of the story," and put pictures of the front of his house and posted it on Twitter for all to see?

What Fauci says here is absurd. That COVID is a public health crisis doesn't mean it "has nothing to do with civil liberties." Of course lockdowns, mandates, vaccine passports, etc. affect civil liberties. Doesn't mean those rights should always prevail, but denying that is inane
The way Fauci is talking here -- civil liberties concerns don't matter when we're talking about the risk of death -- is exactly the mentality of the Cheney/Rove Warriors on Terror: we can't concern ourselves with civil liberties when lives are on the line.
Just compare the bullshit mentality that Fauci is pushing here -- that civil liberties are irrelevant when we're talking about mass death -- to how Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) brushed aside civil liberties in 2005 to defend the War on Terror:

These same media outlets keep purporting to "confirm" one another's false stories (I wrote about this tactic here: greenwald.substack.com/p/how-do-big-m…). Look how many times👇.

But the worst part is they *never* explain themselves - how it happened - or even admit it did. They just move on:
All these media outlets who keep publishing false stories and purporting to "confirm" one another's (see the above examples) have media reporters, public editors, etc. But they'll never acknowledge it. It just all gets buried. Why is this happening?

axios.com/media-trust-cr…
By far the most Fake News and unhinged conspiracy theories comes from the liberal corporate media outlets that keep demanding that the internet be censored in order to stop "disinformation." They mislead more people, more often, than anyone, and it's not close.

Have I mentioned lately that corporate employees who work for the NYT/NBC/CNN axis literally believe that claims from the US security state or related official agencies are supposed to be deemed true without evidence needed, and they do this daily? It's their pro-CIA ideology.
Look at the examples I compiled here. Beyond the Russia Bounty debacle, the Treasury Dept on Thursday issued a *Press Release* with a 1-sentence assertion that had literally no evidence, yet look how many corporate media people treated it as Proven Truth:

greenwald.substack.com/p/journalists-…
Just amazing how they all moved on from RUSSIAN BOUNTIES like the whole thing never happened.

This tweet made it seem like this article is yet another dreary anti-Substack screed from envious corporate media, but it's actually a typically smart & insightful analysis from @jackshafer: one of the best written on why Substack is so important for journalism. Please read:
One vital change Substack is enabling is *not* eliminating editors - many of us have hired our own - but it prevents editors from being newsroom dictators & censors, one of the plagues ruining journalism, since it flattens and homogenizes voices & imposes ideological orthodoxy.
If you read 2013 interviews from myself, Jeremy Scahill or Pierre Omidyar about how The Intercept was going to be different, it was that: journalists would choose their own editors they trust, and editors would empower - not boss around or dictate - the writers & reporters.

Journalists, Learning They Spread a CIA Fraud About Russia, Instantly Embrace a New One

greenwald.substack.com/p/journalists-…
The most significant Trump-era alliance is between corporate outlets and security state agencies, whose evidence-free claims they unquestioningly disseminate.

Yesterday, even after learning they spread a CIA fraud about Russia bounties, they instantly returned to the same tactic
Over and over, you find "journalists" with the NYT/CNN/MSNBC axis mindlessly repeating whatever the CIA or other government agencies tell them to say. No evidence is required. It's not an exaggeration. Look at the evidence compiled here, and the harm done.
