I feel I must make this PSA: If you are considering financing anything through @CapitalOne, be very cautious. I have now gone 10 months without being able to legally drive my vehicle due to negligence on capital ones behalf, and they are trying to take zero responsibility for it.
I have been a long time customer, have 100% on time payment records, and continue to make a truck payment while unemployed for five months during Covid. Capital one’s negligence not only cost me a ton of stress, but made it impossible for me to take jobs due to the fact that I
did not have a legal vehicle. It has been approximately two years since I refinance through them and they have still failed to properly transfer my information so that I can register this. I have spent so much time and effort taking off of work, lost money, paid fees to the DMV,
etcetera, and to this point, capital one is acting like nothing happened. Like it is my fault and I should just move on. This is how they treat a very loyal customer. I could go on and on with reasons this has caused me so much stress and financial woes.
but in the end, I just want to put this out there for those of you considering using them. I have now found this is not entirely uncommon and that corporations such as this try to bully people who they think won’t push back. This is how a they treat their clients. #CapitalOne
